I'm still not sure if what you have on this site is erroneous or accurate. Many Australians would dismiss what you are speaking out against as simply being 'Ämerican'', but I guess you do not see it as that.

I am concerned, however, that you criticised Marilyn Hickey & I would be remiss if I did not tell you this story. I hope you will put it on your website, as not everything about that woman is negative.

About three years ago, when I was fifty one years old, I woke up one morning with a stiff right arm. I didnt take a lot of notice, but over a period of time, the stiffness got worse & I woke up EVERY morning with my hand frozen. I even dreamt that my hand had turned into a claw. I would get up, wash my hand in warm water & prise my fingers open. Day after day, I repeated this painful process. It was particularly bad in the mornings, but the pain persisted throughout the day.

I went to see my doctor & he referred me to a specialist. This guy put electrodes down my arm & then ran electrical currents through them. What a way to make a living!. The pain was excrutiating! After half an hour, he told me I had "Carpel Tunnel syndrome" & recommended surgery. That involved cutting something in my wrist. Apparently the Carpel Tunnel had swollen & the incision would relieve the tension. There was some risk that I would lose some movement in my hand, but he assured me the surgical procedure was common.

I am part of Hillsong church here in Sydney. (Our worship leaders produce a prolific amount of music & so the fame of our church has gone to many nations, including yours. Perhaps the most famous song to come from or church is one called 'Shout to The Lord'. You may have heard of it, or of our church.)

Marilyn HIckey came to our church to speak about two years ago. She had visited once before & when she prayed for the sick, The Lord healed me of severe pain in my lower back. This particular morning, I had no intention of asking for prayer, as I was not sick. My wife, however, insisted that I stand up. When Marilyn prayed, she asked each individual to lay a hand on the infirm or affected part of their body. She also asked people around each person who was standing, to lay hands on them, in line with scripture.

When she had prayed, she asked that each person do something that was previously difficult, or impossible. I moved my hand-one finger at a time & discovered that my entire hand was loose!!!! The next morning, I awoke with a certain amount of apprehension, but quickly found my hand was still free. AND there wa no pain!!!!
When I next went to see my doctor, he suggested we schedule the surgery. I told him about how The Lord had healed me. He isn't a Christian, but his response was "Hallelujah!"

I have never had another problem & the symptons have never returned. You are very open with your criticism of Marilyn & I am sure that due to the proliferation of legal action in your country that you are careful that what you say is accurate. I do not wish to comment on any of the things you have attributed to Marilyn. I can say, though, that regardless of anything else, Jesus used Marilyn Hickey to heal me and that healing has lasted! To Him be the glory!
