Imagine this: One day our federal lawmakers wake up and realize that printing money is a great waste of resources. Billions of dollars of tax revenue are lost as a result of cash transactions that can never be taxed. Thieves can easily steal money. After all, cash is a physical asset that can be picked up and carried away. And it costs millions of dollars to print money and to fight those who would print their own version of our currency. The solution? Let's go to an electronic based system. After all, nearly everyone has a credit or a debit card. Special legislation would have to be passed requiring the new nationalized banks to allow everyone to have a debit card. Nowait a second. Since the banks have been nationalized, no legislation would be required. The Federal Reserve Board would just issue the order. And with all of the banks now nationalized, we can easily become a part of the World Monetary System and convert all of our dollars to whatever world currency we all agree to at the next e-20 conference. All cash transactions would leave a digital footprint and could be taxed at the point of sale. Special modems could be bought and used in every household to pay for goods and services. Every garage sale would have an electronic card processer and each transaction could have the appropriate taxes applied. Drug dealers would be out of business since they could not launder or horde their cash profits. All of the small businesses who thrive on cash transactions they never report for tax purposes would now have to foot their share of the tax burden. After all, with the trillion dollar deficits we are facing, we must become a more streamlined and efficient economy. No tax dollar can go uncollected, and this will help us follow all of the terrorists that we need to capture and punish. Making change at the cash register would be a thing of the past. It is no longer economically feasible or profitable to pay a person eight dollars an hour to make change in pennies for a transaction that may net only pennies of profit. With the new debit cards, there would be no change making. You would not be forced to stand in line behind a lady fumbling through her massive purse looking for two pennies so she will not receive ninety-eight cents of change. All of this could be taken care of electronically. But even this system would not be theft proof you might say. People could still steal debit cards from others. But there is a way to deal with this also. As we proceed towards Universal Healthcare, our government is considering chips implanted in our wrists that would contain all of our medical records. As technology advances and wireless internet continues to expand, those chips could also include a mini-processor capable of receiving transactions through the wireless internet. This would allow us to have all of our banking information included within this chip and updated constantly as we walked through areas wired for internet. Wireless internet would become like cell phones. Any place we went the government could locate us and update our banking transactions. So any time we needed to buy something, all we'd need to do is let them scan the digital number tattooed to our wrist, or the implant set under our skin. For those who may have lost a limb, the implant could be placed in their forehead. Due to Botox injections and other advances in medical procedures, the implants would go unnoticed and pose a minimal cost that could be deducted from your account as your paycheck is deposited weekly. You would never have to worry about leaving your wallet or your purse at home. Your means of buying and selling would be safely implanted in your wrist or forehead. The government could track all of those cash donations made to churches. Instead of passing the plate, a toll-booth would be set up at the door to scan your wrist for your donations before you walked into the sanctuary. Seeing what a cash bonanza a church can be, the IRS could then begin taxing all of that money that goes into the offering plate on Sunday morning but is never accounted for on April 15th. An electronic banking system would eliminate many problems with illegal immigration. Undocumented workers survive on cash payments for their jobs. An electronic banking system would require them to get a social security number to open an account. After all, in an electronic based banking system, an undocumented worker without a social security number could not keep a job. They couldn't open a bank account, apply for credit, rent an apartment, or buy a home. In an electronic based banking system, without a social security number, no one would be able to trade, buy food, or work. The government would have absolute control over everything. And after the Patriot Act, isn't that what we want? If you think about it, our world would not change that much. There are many transactions even today that you cannot make without a debit card. Many, however, would claim this is the Mark of the Beast. Many claimed that our social security numbers were the Mark of the Beast. And they had some basis for that. But we wouldn't be having 666 tattooed on our hand or forehand, just an electronic binary code that would allow anyone capable of scanning that code access to our banking records. <!--[if !supportEmptyParas]--> <!--[endif]--> Does this sound familiar? Have you read Revelations lately? Pull out your Bible and go back and read those dreadful predictions of apocalypse and a one world monetary system, those descriptions of a mark on the hand or forehead and a number needed to be able to conduct business. Then read today's headlines of the efforts by countries that hate the United States and Israel to develop nuclear weapons. What happens if Iran launches a nuclear attack against Israel? What happens when Israel responds and turns Iran into one huge sheet of glass with an overwhelming nuclear response? As the rest of the world turns on Israel, will we be forced to use every weapon system we have to save our ally? Was this the vision of apocalypse seen by the prophet? I often wonder how a man from that age would describe the world he would see if he were allowed to travel forward in time. And think about my modest proposal. The dude who wrote Revelations may just be on to something. http://www.theplanetweekly.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=1567&Itemid=53 |
