- :: GREETINGS to all and the newcomers to this list. We'd
like to introduce ourselves. George and Rita Williams, who founded
this ministry, were Mormons (Temple Mormons part of the time)
for 20 years. We prayed to God in 1992 to allow us to do a ministry
speaking out against Scientology. Six months later God led us
to the truth: out of the cult of Mormonism. We did not know at
the time we were in a cult. No-one had witnessed to us in 20
years. [George passed away to heaven in March 2003 and Nicholas
Stivers joined the ministry as Vice President.]
- The Holy Spirit brought us to information about all the cults
and the present development of the New World Order. We began
bringing our research to you. Because all the research was already
done, we decided to build a library within Cephas Ministry.
- We are King James Version Bible students and have left all
worldly organizations.
- The focus of these newsletters is to prove why we had
to leave the world system. We are called 'Watchmen on the
Wall' which God always had during the Old / New Testament Times.
- To understand what is happening, one has to know the Bible
to compare notes.
- The first section is about the church.
The news about churches is unedited unless indicated by Ednotes.
The church as we knew it, is undergoing disintegration. This
began on a fast track in the early nineteen sixties when the
Catholic Church produced liberal Vatican II to replace Vatican
I.
- The trend since then has been ecumenical which is truly what
the word 'Catholicism' means: a universal religion all
inclusive and multicultural. The Bible calls for a final church
which doesn't resemble what Jesus taught. The Word of God has
undergone many changes to fit the present mode. The Bible calls
for a falling away from the truth before Jesus
comes back for His Bride, the true believers called 'Ekklesia.'
Our newsletters prove this fact and prove that the Bible is true
from beginning to end.
- The second section is about globalism
where we bring your attention to the social, political and global
trend to prove that we are moving to closure of the times of
the Gentiles.
- The third section compliments End Time
teachings with what is happening in Israel. We describe and watch
for signs of the coming Tribulation to confirm that we are moving
into that space and time.
- Watchmen on the wall do not solicit memberships. We have
an email group that gets information when we upload new information
and a newsletter whenever it is possible time wise. We love the
Lord with all our hearts and minds and we love all people God
has created but especially those who love our Lord and Savior,

- GERMAN CHURCHES GIVE GUARDED RESPONSE TO PLANS FOR LIVING
WILLS
Bielefeld, Germany (ENI). Germany's Protestant and Roman Catholic
churches have given a cautious welcome to government plans to
make it easier for terminally-ill patients to refuse life-extending
treatment in hospitals. A new law would increase the weight given
to "living wills", where people can spell out in a
written statement what medical care they want if they become
seriously ill. "Living wills can be a great help for the
patient's relatives, for carers and for doctors," the Evangelical
Church in Germany (EKD) and the Catholic German Bishops' Conference
said in a joint statement. But the two church bodies categorically
rejected any moves to make medically-assisted suicide and euthanasia
legal, and said patients "should not in any circumstances
be put under pressure" to end their lives. [ENI-07-6-04]

- INSIDE THE MUSLIM MIND
- Excerpted from K-House eNews. As the July 1, 2004 deadline
approaches for the Coalition to hand over power to the new Iraqi
caretaker government, many members of the Assyrian church are
packing up to leave Iraq. Many are fearful that with the new
government in place, they will face increasingly heavier persecution
from the extremist Muslims around them.
- "In recent days nearly 400 families as far as we can
tell have filled out baptismal forms to leave the country. Our
community is being decimated," said one church deacon.
- The most immediate concern the Christians have is Iraq's
temporary constitution, which declares that Islam is "the
Official Religion of the State." They also note with apprehension
that not one position on the Executive Council was given to a
Christian. The one ministry post to be filled by a Christian
is the "The Ministry of Emigration," which many see
as an ominous message to Christians to "get out."
- Unfortunately, America. - in its respect for the Islamic
nature of the region - has failed to do enough to protect the
non-Muslim minorities. The U.S. has worked to make sure that
the temporary constitution includes a "bill of rights"
that would guarantee religious freedom, but the U.S.-funded television
station still offers only Muslim programming, and no Christian
priests were invited to the inauguration of the new government.
The Iraqi Christians fear that the new government will not promote
religious freedom in reality.
- "We love the Americans!" said one young man. "We
are so grateful for them removing Saddam and giving us back our
freedom. We do not want their effort to be a failure if the dictatorship
of Saddam is replaced by the dictatorship of Islam."
- "We are having to take care of daily cases of harassment
of Assyrians by Muslims," said one priest. "Our women
are accosted on the street and intimidated to start dressing
according to Islamic tradition, our businesses are being burned,
and the constant harassment is because of the attitude of appeasement
toward Muslims," he continued.
- Moderate Muslims are also intimidated by the extremists around
them, fearful about going against the religious leaders who exercise
so much influence. A 34 ­year-old Muslim translator named
Zainab criticized the extremists:
- "You see, this is the problem! This is our enemy! It
is this 'black mind' that is the cause of all our troubles. It
is not the Americans. They have come, they have given of their
lives. We see them every day, working so hard with us to make
things better. It is the 'black mind' that wants to destroy everything!
- "It is the religious leaders that create this 'black
mind'," she continued. "As you can see they are crazy!
Can you imagine any religious leaders that would teach you to
kill your son if he does not believe like you? Can you imagine
any religious leader that would say a woman is worth only a 10th
of a man? Can you imagine any religious leader that would ignore
all Saddam did for 35 years of terror and condemn those who came
to liberate us?
- "Maybe 30% of the people are either those connected
with Saddam and these with the 'black mind'. It comes from Islam.
The vast majority of the people, of course do not think like
this, but the 'black mind' intimidates them so they are afraid
to say the truth."
- "I am a Muslim but somebody must speak the truth."
- Please continue to pray for the people of Iraq. Pray for
the Christians, who are working to establish a network of "safe
houses" in their community for those who stay. Pray that
the power of God would enable them to be bold for the Good News
of Jesus Christ in a land that desperately needs to hear it.
Pray for the Muslims who are willing to seek a better way than
dictatorial Islam. Pray for the soldiers, especially those who
do know Christ, that they would be able to be a light to the
common people of the land. Iraq is still a spiritual battleground,
and the battle is not yet over.

- PORTLAND ARCHDIOCESE FILES FOR BANKRUPTCY
-
USA TODAY PORTLAND,
Ore. By Cathy Lynn Grossman, 7/7/2004 - The Archdiocese of Portland,
Ore., filed for bankruptcy Tuesday, the first U.S. archdiocese
to seek federal protection from multimillion-dollar settlements
in the clergy sexual abuse scandal.
- The archdiocese filed for Chapter 11
reorganization just moments before the opening of a civil trial
by two plaintiffs seeking more than $155 million, charging they
were abused by the Rev. Maurice Grammond, accused of molesting
more than 50 boys in the 1980s. Grammond died in 2002.
- Now, only a bankruptcy judge can authorize
archdiocesan spending beyond normal operating expenses. The archbishop
promised parish funds and properties will be protected, but experts
expect that to be a matter of litigation. "We're in uncharted
waters," says archdiocesan spokesman Bud Bunce.
- Portland Archbishop John G. Vlazny posted
an online letter to western Oregon's 356,037 Catholics Tuesday
spelling out his reasons for filing and his reassurances that
he is committed to helping heal victims of abuse. He cited $21
million paid on more than 100 claims in the past four years.
- "This is not an effort to avoid
responsibility," he wrote. "This action offers the
best possibility for the Archdiocese: to resolve fairly all pending
claims, to manage a difficult financial situation and to preserve
the ability of the Archdiocese to fulfill its mission."
- Other dioceses may not rush to follow
Portland into bankruptcy court. Reasons:
- The Vatican is reluctant to see church
finances open to the unprecedented public scrutiny of bankruptcy.
- There is wide variation in how the nation's
195 dioceses and archdioceses are structured financially.
- Pertinent laws vary from state to state.
- Vlazny's move is "a big experiment,"
says Fred Naffziger, professor of business law at Indiana University-South
Bend. If it's all resolved in two years with few battles between
the archbishop and the bankruptcy judge, "you may very quickly
have another four or five dioceses do the same."
- But "the justice question is not
that simple or straightforward," says Mark Chopko, general
counsel for the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops,
because the line of creditors is not finite. It often takes decades
for a victim of childhood sexual abuse to step forward.
- "You can never figure out where the end is, who is the
last victim."

- "... Pietrangelo first met Elizabeth
Prophet in 1969 when her group was called "The Summit Lighthouse"
in Colorado. He was a young and spiritually ambitious college
student from Mississippi who quickly fell under the allure of
Elizabeth Prophet and her then-husband, Mark Prophet, who founded
the church in the late 1950s. Mark and Elizabeth were spirit
mediums who called themselves "messengers." After their
marriage in 1961, they claimed to be the sole living messengers
of the ascended masters of all the world's religions, including
some whose names are idiosyncratic to the cult. In New Age parlance,
they "channeled" beings like , Jesus, Buddha, K-17,
Morya, Quan Yin, Afra, Hercules, Mighty Victory, Astrea, Shiva,

- In actuality, today Elizabeth
Prophet heads one of the more successful
sects that stem from Rosicrucianism and, more specifically, from
the Theosophical Society founded by Helena P. Blavatsky and others
in 1875. Prophet's church has between 5,000 and 15,000-plus adherents,
with diversified commitments worldwide. The core group of several
hundred staff members is supported by an estimated one to three
thousand devotees living in Montana, where the sect is headquartered.
- Such sects and channelers all claim
to represent a Great White Brotherhood (GWB) of ascended masters
who allegedly are guiding all of humanity into a new age of human
and planetary advancement. This new era is variously called the
New Age, the Aquarian Age, higher consciousness, a paradigm shift,
or the seventh cycle or round. Other noteworthy GWB sects are
the Ramtha group led by J.Z.
Knight near Seattle, Washington, and
the Order of the Solar
Temple which performed a ritual murder/suicide
in October 1994 (and again in 1995), when more than 60 devotees

- IN UTAH, TWO FAITHS [MORMON & ISLAM] AND ONE PRAYER
NEW YORK TIMES By Nick Madigan and Melissa Sanford - SALT LAKE
CITY, June 30 -- The men, all Muslims, kneeled in unison at evening
prayers in the Khadeeja mosque, their incantations laced with
anxiety over the fate of one of their spiritual brothers, a marine
held captive on the other side of the world.
''Oh, Allah, we read the Koran to pray for the release of our
brother Hassoun,'' the voice of the mosque's religious leader
boomed over speakers around the white-walled room, referring
to Cpl. Wassef Ali Hassoun, 24, whose family worships at the
mosque.
At Salt Lake City's three mosques -- two Sunni and one Shia --
such supplications have become standard since Sunday, when news
came of Corporal Hassoun's capture in Iraq.
Given its overwhelmingly Mormon population, Utah might seem an
unlikely place for Muslim immigrants from Iraq, Somalia, Bosnia,
Kosovo, Indonesia, Sudan and Pakistan. But the Muslim population
of Utah has grown rapidly, to about 25,000, most of whom arrived
in the last decade in the wake of conflicts around the world
that in some cases involved ethnic cleansing. ..
Though far outnumbered by Mormons, some Muslims here point out
how well the two faiths coexist, and have marveled at the way
Mormons came forward to offer comfort not only after the attacks
of Sept. 11 -- in which about 500 Muslims are believed to have
died -- but also in the last few days...
"We wanted to honor them during their special time in their
sacred, um, what do you call this building?'' Ms. Smith said,
hesitating over the name of the Khadeeja mosque, as she joined
a group of women, some Mormon, some Muslim, for prayers. ''We
feel like we are all a little part of a larger community.''
The three Mormon women were given scarves to wear over their
heads.
''To me, educating people about Islam is at least as important
as praying for this man,'' said one of the Muslim women, Asha
Patel, 23.
Ms. Patel -- her father is Hindu, her mother Mormon -- said the
Salt Lake Mormon community was tolerant of Muslims, and noted
similarities between the two faiths. Both have codes of modesty
and urge abstention from smoking and drinking...
- After prayers, Shuaib-ud Din, the imam, or religious leader,
at the Khadeeja mosque, said that life in Salt Lake City had
become no more difficult after Sept. 11 than it was before. Relations
with the Mormon community, he said, were good.
''There's no conflict between Muslims and Christians,'' he said.
''To us, Jesus is a prophet. We accept the true teachings of
Jesus, not the distorted teaching we hear today. We have no beef
with the other faiths.''

- BUDDHISM BECOMES INCREASINGLY POPULAR IN THE U.S.

of Gautama Buddha bears scant resemblance to Christianity. But
as Buddhism becomes increasingly popular in the United States
-- outpacing Episcopalianism with as many as four million members
-- a growing number of Christians are exploring
Buddhist practices while remaining within their own tradition.
Christian-Buddhist meditation groups, retreat centers, books
and websites attest to the growth of the trend.
"Times are so scary that people are looking for spiritual
discipline that offers some kind of detachment and peace amid
all this chaos," said Rita Gross, co-author of Buddhists
Talk about Jesus: Christians Talk About the Buddha, Continuum
International Publishing Group. "People might find a basic
meditation practice very helpful, and Buddhism is very chic right
now."

- BUSH REFINES HIS POSITION ON A MEASURE BANNING GAY MARRIAGE.
NEW YORK TIMES July 14, 2004 by Richard W. Stevenson - WASHINGTON - From the beginning,
gay marriage has been an issue that President Bush has tried
to finesse.
Under election-year pressure from his social conservative base,
Mr. Bush endorsed the effort to adopt a constitutional amendment
that would ban gay marriage. In the last few days he has turned
up the volume on the issue, talking about it in his weekly radio
address on Saturday and calling wavering senators over the last
day or two in an effort to shore up support for the measure as
it headed toward a crucial procedural vote on Wednesday.
But after endorsing the measure in February, he would often go
weeks without mentioning it in public, suggesting either a personal
or political reluctance, or both, about pushing it too hard.
And when he did raise the topic, he was careful to modulate his
message to avoid alienating moderate voters, warning in particular
against allowing the issue to become an excuse for gay bashing.
"What they do in the privacy of their house, consenting
adults should be able to do," Mr. Bush said during a campaign
stop in Pennsylvania on Friday, seeking to distinguish between
private behavior and giving legal sanction to same-sex marriages.
"This is America. It's a free society. But it doesn't mean
we have to redefine traditional marriage."
By hedging his position, if only a bit, Mr. Bush may have insulated
himself somewhat from the sting of the defeat the proposed amendment
suffered in the Senate on Wednesday. But the way in which the
proposal went down with a whimper - short of a simple majority,
much less the two-thirds of the Senate needed for approval -
raised questions about whether the White House had fundamentally
misjudged the nation's attitude on the issue. And the vote left
even some of Mr. Bush's own advisers wondering if his backing
of the amendment did not hurt him politically more than it helped
by further stoking opposition to him from the left.

- MEMO ON TORTURE STOKES ETHICS-VERSUS-FAITH DEBATE - JAY

The Salt Lake Tribune by Peggy Fletcher Stack, Pamela Manson.
Dan Burk doesn't see how anyone with a conscience could tolerate,
let alone defend, the use of torture -- even in extreme cases.
But Burk, a law professor at the University of Minnesota, was
especially incensed to discover that just such a defense was
launched by a member of his own LDS faith.
Jay Bybee, a devout Mormon who in 2002 was head of the Justice
Department's Office of Legal Counsel, signed an August memorandum
that year that said certain interrogation techniques could be
used legally as long as the pain involved was less than that
accompanying "serious physical injury, such as organ failure,
impairment of bodily function or even death."
If the intent is to gain information, not just to cause harm,
the memo reasoned, these techniques fall outside the legal definition
of torture forbidden by international law.
The controversial memo, since disavowed by the White House, has
sparked a lively Internet debate among LDS lawyers about whether
Bybee violated his professional and religious ethics while writing
it.
Burk started the conversation last month when he posted a stinging
critique on http://www.timesandseasons.org, which has frequent
comments by lawyers who are members of The Church of Jesus Christ
of Latter-day Saints.
"I cannot believe that the practice of torture is acceptable
to anyone who claims to be a disciple of Jesus Christ,"
wrote Burk. "At what point does a Latter-Day Saint governmental
official have, like Mormon of old, the moral obligation to resign
his position rather than participate in the conduct of his superiors?"
Burk's incendiary comment produced more than 100 responses, with
pro and con arguments built on everything from New Testament
mandates and Book of Mormon stories to the philosophers Immanuel
Kant and John Stuart Mill.

- CHRIST ON CROSS IS GOD'S RESPONSE TO EVIL, SAYS THE POPE
- CASTEL GANDOLFO, Italy, SEPT. 19, 2004 (Zenit.org).- Lamenting
the attacks on life in the world, John Paul II presented Christ
on the cross as God's response to the question of the mystery
of evil. "Why Lord? How long?" the Pope asked before
more than 1,000 pilgrims gathered today in the courtyard of the
papal summer residence of Castel Gandolfo to pray the midday
Angelus.
- "In the face of the evil that manifests itself in different
ways in the world, man, afflicted and disconcerted, asks: 'Why?'"
the Holy Father said. "At this dawn of the third millennium,
blessed by the Great Jubilee and rich in potential, humanity
is marked by the distressing spread of terrorism," he added.
"God has responded to this anguished question that arises
from the scandal of evil, not with an explanation of principle,
as though wishing to justify himself, but with the sacrifice
of his own Son on the cross," John Paul II said.
- "In Jesus' death are found the apparent triumph of evil
and the definitive victory of good; the darkest moment of history
and the revelation of divine glory," he explained. "The
cross of Christ is, for believers, [an] icon of hope because
on it was accomplished the salvific plan of the love of God,"
emphasized the Pontiff, who appeared to be in good health although
he read the text with some difficulty. Before concluding, the
Pope gave the pilgrims this counsel: "With our gaze fixed
on Christ crucified, in spiritual union with the Virgin Mary,
let us continue on our way, sustained by the power of the resurrection."

- JERUSALEM — Madonna's visit to Israel last week, as
part of a High Holidays pilgrimage organized by the Los Angeles-based
Kabbalah Centre, was greeted here with an enthusiasm deeper than
mere excitement at the presence of a pop superstar. Israelis
were understandably grateful to her for showing solidarity with
their besieged country and for defying the fear of terrorism
that has kept so many tourists away. Her very presence reminded

outrageous claim: that its leaders are well on their way to uncovering
the secret of physical immortality. True, all of the world's
great faiths, including Judaism, teach belief in eternal life.
But that faith focuses on the immortal soul, not the transient
body. With its body-centered theology, the Centre co-opts spirituality
for its opposite intent.
- We live in a remarkable era, in which the spiritual riches
of various faiths, once restricted to their own believers, are
now accessible to outsiders. Arguably for the first time in history,
we can study and even experience something of the devotional
life of another faith. With its openness to non-Jews, the Centre
could have performed an important role in this process of spiritual
exchange. But its profound corruption of Jewish mysticism negates
any potential contribution.
- Some Jews argue that Madonna's endorsement of Jewish mysticism
helps make Judaism attractive to alienated young Jews. Yet Jews
need to protect the integrity of their tradition. No matter what
the short-term benefits, Jews should shun the Kabbalah Centre

- PARLIAMENT FORBIDS THE ENTRY OF MADONNA INTO EGYPT
- Albawaba.com (UK), Sep. 23, 2004 - Egyptian Parliament members
have submitted an order to Government demanding that American
singer Madonna be prohibited from entering Egyptian soil. Parliament
members also included a number of other international singers
on their list of people forbidden from entering Egypt and called
on all their embassies abroad to not grant any of them visas
into Egypt or be allowed to shoot any of their music videos on
Egyptian soil. The demand came after Madonna announced that she
will celebrate the Jewish New Years in Israel and that she had
converted to Judaism. On a similar note Arab Parliament member,
Ahmad Al Taibi, in the Israeli Knesset turned down an invitation
from Madonna to an event she held after she showed inconsideration
for the sufferings of Palestinians, especially children, under
the occupation of Israeli soldiers.

- AS POLICE USE OF TASERS RISES, QUESTIONS OVER SAFETY INCREASE

18, 2004 - As the sun set on June 24, something snapped in Kris
J. Lieberman, an unemployed landscaper who lived a few miles
from this quiet town. For 45 minutes, he crawled deliriously
around a pasture here, moaning and pounding his head against
the weedy ground.
- Eventually the police arrived, carrying a Taser M26, an electric
gun increasingly popular with law enforcement officers nationwide.
The gun fires electrified barbs up to 21 feet, hitting suspects
with a disabling charge.
- The officers told Mr. Lieberman, 32, to calm down. He lunged
at them instead. They fired their Taser twice. He fought briefly,
collapsed and died.
- Mr. Lieberman joined a growing number of people, now at least
50, including 6 in June alone, who have died since 2001 after
being shocked. Taser International, which makes several versions
of the guns, says its weapons are not lethal, even for people
with heart conditions or pacemakers. The deaths resulted from
drug overdoses or other factors and would have occurred anyway,
the company says.
- But Taser has scant evidence for that claim. The company's
primary safety studies on the M26, which is far more powerful
than other stun guns, consist of tests on a single pig in 1996
and on five dogs in 1999. Company-paid researchers, not independent
scientists, conducted the studies, which were never published
in a peer-reviewed journal. Taser has no full-time medical director
and has never created computer models to simulate the effect
of its shocks, which are difficult to test in human clinical
trials for ethical reasons.

- WHEN THE BIG HAND SAYS THIRTEEN: THE MOON CALENDAR
- The United Nations not only has ambitions to take over the
World Internet, the UN is also behind a push towards calendar
reform. "Calendar Reform and the Future of Civilization"
(CRFC). The UN rejected considering calendar reform in 1995 as
part of its 50th anniversary. Within four years, UN officials
were passing calendar duty over to lifetime activist for peace,
Dr. Jose Argelles, an originator of Earth Day. Dr. Arguelles
has already put forth this idea at the World Summit on Peace
and Time- June 22-27, 1999 at the UN-owned University for Peace,
in Costa Rica. His un-holiness, the Dalai Lama was in attendance
and so was Maurice Strong, a newager. Maurice Strong and former
Soviet President Mikhail Gorbachev who, under the auspices of
the UN, are working on an agenda to replace the Ten Commandments
with the Earth Charter.
- Why is the UN trying to get us to change the method by which
the world tells time? They want to replace the Gregorian Calendar.
This Gregorian calendar was instituted by papal decree in the
year AD 1582 and adopted by virtually all nations as the common
world standard, replacing the older Julian Calendar. Accepted
by virtually all nations notwithstanding, the Gregorian Calendar
is irksome to New Agers because the whole world marks time based
on the Birth of Jesus Christ. And as far as the occultist U.N.
is concerned, that will never do. If the concept of throwing
the Gregorian Calendar out to replace it with the World Thirteen
Moon 28-day Calendar of Peace isn't ludicrous enough, calendar
challengers say they are basing their reform on "common
sense." "By rational discourse and common sense, it
has been determined that the Gregorian Calendar does not represent
a true or accurate standard of measure or belong to any systematic
science of time, and hence, is worthy of reform," states
a CRFC resolution from the World Summit on Peace and Time.
- The new and improved, (sic!) Thirteen Moon "Natural
Time" Calendar is touted as "a universal application
of the mathematics and cosmology of the Mayan calendar as deciphered
by Dr. Jose Arguelles. Ph.D., and presents a simple yet so profound
opportunity to shift our everyday consciousness." Described
on his Internet home page as "both a visionary and a prophet",
Dr. Arguelles bestowed upon himself the pagan name of, "Valum
Votan". In a New Age magazine interview, he said it was
"not until after he experimented with LSD that he realized
he was a visionary." The final goal is to change the calendar
from its present "artificial" 12-month year to a more
"natural" 13-month year that more closely parallels
the lunar and biological cycles.

and Time have been submitted to the General Assembly of the UN.
Wild and weird as it may sound, the Thirteen Moon Natural Time
Peace Calendar could replace the Gregorian Calendar, courtesy
of future UN resolution. Now it should be interesting to any
students of prophecy that someone, or some organization wants
to come and change times and laws. Judaism and Islam are on Lunar
calendars, New Ager want us all to be on the same clock. Now
there is someone else who will make sure the world does indeed
go on a clock that wipes out any connection to Christianity.

the most High, and think to change TIMES and laws: and they shall

a mock assault on a school bus. The fictitious terrorists who
supposedly planted a bomb on a school bus were portrayed as a
group of home schooling radicals labeled "Wackos Against
Schools and Education." The Muskegon Chronicle describes
the role-playing scenario involving local students:
- "Muskegon County officials want to be prepared in case
the unthinkable happens here. So it was that 25 students ...
found themselves crammed at odd angles into a school bus that
had been turned onto its side Tuesday morning.
- "The scenario for the exercise on Durham Road near Holton-Whitehall
Road began after a domestic terrorist group exploded a bomb in
the front of the bus. The student victims wore makeup that simulated
blood, burns and other injuries. Each wore a tag with a made-up
name, age, type of injury and other information.
- "Many of the volunteers were from theater class. 'We
all carried on and got into character as best we could,' said
Kristin Smith, 17, a Reeths-Puffer senior. They screamed and
banged on the inside of the bus, waiting to be rescued. Some
wouldn't get out alive. Others were assigned to die on the way
to the hospital....

17, 2004 - U.S. Warding Off Terror - One element of the FBI plan
calls for addressing what it fears could be a wave of protests
from Arab-Americans and civil libertarians once the so-called
"October Plan" kicks off.
- Convinced that al Qaeda is still determined to disrupt the
U.S. fall elections by an attack on the homeland, FBI officials
here are preparing a massive counter-offensive of interrogations,
surveillance and possible detentions they hope will disrupt the
terrorist plans, reports CBS News Correspondent Jim Stewart.
- FBI field offices and Homeland Security agencies will be
advised of "extraordinary measures" that will go into
place "beginning the first week of October through the elections."
- An internal e-mail advisory to supervisory agents this week
from the FBI's "'04 Threat Task Force" said the purpose
of the counter-offensive is "to foster the impression that
law enforcement is focused on individuals who may be a threat."
- Specifically, the plan calls for "aggressive - even
obvious - surveillance" techniques to be used on a short
list of people suspected of being terrorist sympathizers, but
who have not committed a crime. Other "persons of interest,"
including their family members, may also be brought in for questioning,
one source said.
- All recent truck thefts, chemical thefts and suspicious cargo
truck rentals will also be reviewed as part of the plan. Mosques
will be revisited and members asked whether they've observed
any suspicious behavior.
- Throwing hundreds of agents on the street and conducting
invasive surveillance has become a standard post-9/11 tactic
for the bureau, which hopes at a minimum to force terrorists
go back into hiding and re-think their plan.
- Some officials believe it was just such tactics that foiled
the remainder of al Qaeda's New Year's bomb plot in January 2000
after agents arrested one operative, Ahmed Ressam, in Port Angeles,
Wash., with a car trunk full of explosive material.
- The bureau also knows it can expect to be criticized for
the strategy if it goes too far. One element of the plan calls
for addressing what some officials fears could be a wave of protests

The following information was obtained under the Freedom of Information
Act. The original printing was of June 1, 1984. The information
herein is UNCLASSIFIED and does not come within the scope of
directions governing the protection of information affecting
the national security. It took a little more than three years
to obtain a full copy of Operation Garden Plot from the U.S.
Government, and was done so under the freedom of information
act for unclassified documents. The implications within the full
context of this document should make the hair on the back of
your head stand on end!!!!!
In this document signed by the Secretary of the Army, is hereby
assigned as DOD Executive Agent for civil disturbance control
operations. Under Plan 55-2 he is to use airlift and logistical
support, in assisting appropriate military commanders in the
50 states, District of Columbia, and the Commonwealth of Puerto
Rico and US possessions and territories, or any political subdivision
thereof.
The official name of this project is called "Operation Garden
Plot."
Under this plan for the deployment of Operation Garden Plot,
the use of CIDCON-1 will be mandatory. This direct support of
civil disturbance control operations is to be used by the Army,
USAF, Navy, and Marine Corp. with an airlift force to be comprised
of MAC Organic Airlift Resources, airlift capable aircraft of
all other USAF major commands, and all other aerial reconnaissance
and Airborne Psychological Operations. This is to include control
communications systems, aeromedical evacuation, helicopter and
Weather Support Systems.
If any civil disturbance by a resistance group, religious organization,
or other persons considered to be non-conformist takes place,
under Appendix 3 to Annex B of Plan 55-2 hereby gives all Federal
forces total power over the situation if local and state authorities
cannot put down said dissenters.
Annex A, section B of Operation Garden Plot defines tax protesters,
militia groups, religious cults, and general anti-government
dissenters as Disruptive Elements. This calls for the deadly
force to be used against any extremist or dissident perpetrating
any and all forms of civil disorder.
Under section D, a Presidential Executive Order will authorize
and direct the Secretary of Defense to use the Armed Forces of
the United States to restore order.

- The national ID can be revoked which means no driving

- Pro torture, outsourcing to foreign governments, countries
often unrelated to where a person came from if an immigrant.
Often civilians in charge of torture.
- Systematic reduction of Rule of Law to Cangeroo Court.
- International Law ignored including the Geneva Convention.
