Out: "Insight." In: "Washington's
Finest."
May 06, 2004 (Via Ailes) You can always count on the Moon movement
to come up with organization names that are just a little off,
whether it's Free Teens USA, One Way Productions,
or the Interreligious and International Federation For
World Peace (the not-exactly-convenient acronym IIFWP). And
now... if you're one of the power elite targeted by money-losing
News World Communications -- a $2 billion-losing company that
seems to have newly discovered something called "demographics"
-- expect to be flattered by a glossy copy in your mailbox of
"Washington's Finest" magazine! A source at the Post
told me there were rumors that the Washington Times may be sold.

- Moon: Tear down the Christian cross!
- May 05, 2004 - Controversial proposal. Here's a link, back
by popular demand. (From the Unification [Church] News.) At left:
Faith no more. Caption from the Unification News: "In response
to Rev. Moon's teachings on the cross, Rev. John Kingara takes
down the cross at the Worldwide Greater Mission Church in Worchester,
MA on Good Friday, April 18, 2003 as members of his congregation
look on."
- ...Also interesting is that the theme of Moon's campaign
since last Easter has been "trade your cross for a crown";
he convinced a number of pastors to "take down the cross"
(and put it out with the garbage). This means that he's been
advocating swapping the traditional symbol of Christianity for...King
Moon?
Taxpayers fund Moon's Sex Insights
May 06, 2004 We learned that sex makes you feel good, but it
can kill you or make you sterile. We hear that to be happy you
need to be sexy. Only losers and nerds are missing out on the
fun, but then why do so many sexually active girls try to take
their own lives?
This eye-opener is from the website of Free Teens USA, a Rev.
Moon project which has received $475,000 in federal abstinence
dollars to operate in New Jersey public schools and beyond. It's
no concidence that this warning is under the headline, "Free
Sex," for this piece of jargon is a favorite of the Washington
Times publisher, often when making peculiar remarks about eradicating
homosexuals and controlling the "love organ." When
you're done browsing those speeches, have a look at this article
if you haven't. [ http://www.gorenfeld.net/blog/2004/05/taxpayers-fund-moons-sex-insights.html

- 81 Members of Congress Attended The Crowning
of Reverend Moon
-
Various video clips are available showing
the White House in Washington DC where this event took place
with Rev. Moon and his wife receiving a crown in honor of Moon's
Ambassadors for Peace Awards. 26 ambassadors to the United States
and 450 "leaders from various fields." It begins with
"congratulatory remarks" from Weldon (pictured speaking)
and others.
- Black Congressional Caucus chairman Elijah Cummings says
that Moon is "consistently standing up for what is right.
And I'm so pleased that he will be receiving an award tonight,
for he richly deserves it." Howard Stephenson, a state senator
from Utah shows up and says he's repenting for the Trail of Tears,
which is nice of him. Then Rep. Danny K. Davis reads a poem by
Reverend Moon! And House leader Dennis Hastert sends a congratulatory
statement.
- The voiceover then explains that Moon's troubles in the United
States in the '70s were due to "racial discrimination."
The implication hanging over all of this is that all these Congressmen
are apologizing to him for his Christ-like suffering. http://www.gorenfeld.net/blog/2004/05/back-from-memory-hole.html

Weldon, Khadafy and Moongate
- You'll recall that, when I wrote my Gadflyer article,
Rep. Curt Weldon's office claimed that he didn't speak at the
coronation
of Sun Myung Moon. First his secretary said, "I'm telling
you, he didn't go." So I sent hersome links.
She then said Weldon planned to attend this awards show, but
couldn't make it due to his schedule. Then I sent her a photo
of Weldon at the event. It showed him surrounded by Moonists.
His involvement, she now said, was "limited to his attendance,"
as if he'd just been on his way to a nearby committee meeting
and poked his head through a curtain.
- But here's a new picture of Weldon giving a speech at the
event! What's that he's pinning on Kadhafy? Did Kadhafy score
one of Moon's Ambassadors for Peace Awards while Weldonwas
leading a delegation to Libya to talk WMDs? If so, that would
be pretty awesome, placing Khadafy in the same A.F.P. winners
circle as neo-Nazi
William Baker.
So Khadafy now loves peace. If this
rumor about trying to kill the ruler of Saudi Arabia is true,
however, he has a funny way of showing it. Maybe the idea is
that he'll see the light after he enters The Spirit World and
accepts Moon as his personal Messiah, which is what Rev. Moon
says happened to Stalin and Hitler.
In the spirit of bipartisanship, I do have to ask why Rep.
Danny K. Davis (D-Il.) is listed
as the "chair" of Moon's enormous International and Interreligious
Federation for World Peace, which is close to synonymous
with the Unification Church. Didn't Davis hear about the time
in 2000 that Jesse Jackson booted Moon's "Pure
Love Alliance" from the Chicago school systems?
"We have no king but Jesus." -- John Ashcroft (quoting
someone else)
Above 12:30 into the Windows Media link, there's a shot of
Congress, emphasizing that this is the peak of the Times publisher's
glory:
Pictures in a slideshow are explained: 1) At 12:44, there
ensues footage of the Dirksen Senate Office Building event. A
shofar-blowing rabbi, "Rabbi Waldmann," introduced
Moon as quite possibly the Messiah? 2) Now here are some people
at the Dirksen Senate Office Building, genuflecting to the Washington
Times publisher and bringing him a crown. Here's the crown...
3) ...and the coronation begins, here in the federal building...
4) A Rep. David (D-Il) bowing to Moon with one of the crowns.
- And Moon gives a speech announcing that it's time to recognize
him as the Messiah: Lasting questions from this video: Moon
and his wife receive a standing ovation at 14:40. The question
was: "Are we a monarchy now? I'm confused. http://www.gorenfeld.net/blog/2004/05/im-and-i-approve-this-messiah.html
