ROAD MAP TO PEACE?

"The United States views the Israeli disengagement from Gaza as an important opportunity to re-energize the 'road map,' to take further steps forward toward a better future for Israelis and Palestinians," U.S. Assistant Secretary of State David Welch said.

                      ISRAEL WILL MAKE A COVENANT WITH MANY

"And he (the beast) shall confirm (guarantee) the covenant with many for one week"(Daniel 9:27).
 
The beast will confirm (guarantee) Israel's soon-coming covenant for one week of years (seven years).   This confirmation event indicates the very first day of the seven-year tribulation.  Can the beast confirm a non-existent treaty? NO.  The treaty must come into existence before the first day of the tribulation.  Can the beast confirm the agreement if he is not already in a position of great political authority to do so?  NO.  The beast must already be in position before the tribulation begins.  Israel's covenant is now in the works.  President Bush has developed a "road map" to Israeli-Palestinian peace.  This "road map" has been adopted by the European Union (EU), Russia and the United Nations (UN).  These four are called "the Quartet."  Indeed, Israel's covenant will be with many!

    
GOD SAYS ISRAEL'S COMING COVENANT IS, "A COVENANT WITH DEATH; AN AGREEMENT WITH HELL"

Please read Isaiah 28:14-21 from your own Bible:
 
"And your covenant with death shall be disannulled, and your agreement with hell shall not stand; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, then ye shall be trodden down by it" (Isaiah 28:18).
 
Who, or what, is the "overflowing scourge?"  There are two verses in our passage (Isaiah 28:14-21) that identify the "overflowing scourge."  The Bible says:
 
"Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation: he that believeth shall not make haste" (Isaiah 28:16).
 
"For the LORD shall rise up as in mount Perazim, he shall be wroth as in the valley of Gibeon, that he may do his work, his strange work; and bring to pass his act his strange act" (Isaiah 28:21).
 

Yes, "the overflowing scourge," which is the Lord Jesus Christ, shall disannul Israel's "covenant with many," which is "a covenant with death, and an agreement with hell." Don’t think for a moment that Israel's soon-coming covenant  will bring peace to Israel and the Mid-East.

On the first day of the week of years (seven yrs.), the beast will confirm Israel's covenant with death and hell. "And in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and oblation to cease" (Dan. 9:27).  The beast; three and a half years after he confirms Israel's covenant, will cause the sacrifices to cease in the newly rebuilt temple in Jerusalem.  Nevertheless, the beast remains the guarantor of Israel's covenant until the last day of the week of years, until the overflowing scourge (King Jesus) passes through in judgment at His Second Coming to Israel.  Of the beast, the Bible says:  "And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue FORTY AND TWO MONTHS" (Revelation 13:5).

Eighty-four months (seven years) from the beast's confirmation of Israel's covenant, the "the overflowing scourge" will come:

"And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.  And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.  And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image.  These BOTH were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone" (Revelation 19:11, 16 & 20). 

I repeat, "the overflowing scourge,"  "THE KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS" shall disannull Israel's covenant with many, which is a covenant with death and hell.  I repeat, the coming Israeli covenant, confirmed by the beast, will never bring peace and safety to Israel and the Mid-east.  See

In days gone by, God said to the sons of Israel, before they entered their Promised Land from Egypt, "Thou shalt make no covenant with them...." (Exodus 23:32).  Later God said, "Woe to them that go down to Egypt for help; and stay on horses and trust in chariots, because they are many; and in horsemen, because they are very strong; but they look not unto the Holy One of Israel, neither seek the LORD!"

(Isaiah 31:1). 

 

Woe to the sons of Israel who look to the U.S. to guarantee (confirm) their covenant!   But they look not unto the Holy One of Israel, neither seek the LORD! 

 

"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved" (Romans 10:9).

 
THE PROMISED LAND
 
God made a covenant with Abram (Abraham) which promises Abraham and his seed the land from the Nile River in Egypt to the Euphrates River.  The Bible says:
 
"In the same day the LORD made a covenant with Abram, saying, Unto thy seed have I given this land, from the river of Egypt unto the great river, the river Euphrates" (Genesis 15:18).
 
 Now, President Bush thinks he has a better plan.  President Bush endeavors to supersede God and divide and share Israel's Promised Land with the Palestinian Muslims.  President Bush is the enemy of God and Israel!

"And he shall confirm (guarantee)  the covenant  with many for one week [7 yrs.]"  (Daniel 9:27).
    
SATAN IS THE GOD OF THIS WORLD
 
"In whom THE GOD OF THIS WORLD hath blinded the minds of them that believe not" (II Cor. 4:4).
 
Satan, the god of this world, offered Jesus all the kingdoms of the world if Jesus would fall down and worship him (Matt. 4:8 & 9).  That was a legitimate offer as all the kingdoms of this world, then and now, belong to Satan, including the United States of America.  Also from the book of Daniel we learn that the political leaders of this world are controlled by Satan with his demons (Daniel 10:13).  Therefore, don't be deceived by political leaders who may even give lip service to God and/or Jesus.  "And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.  Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works" (II Cor. 11:14 & 15).
 
From Revelation 17, verses 3 & 7, we learn that the Babylonian MOTHER OF HARLOTS (Roman Catholicism) and her many harlot daughter "churches" "sit upon" and are "carried" by the political beast.  Many "Christians," including Baptists, are being 'taken for a ride' by President Bush.  True Christians, correctly tutored, are not deceived by the world's politicians; especially by anyone offering a "road map" to Israeli and Mid-East peace.  There will never be peace in Israel until the Lord Jesus Christ , the "Prince of Peace," returns to earth and establishes His world-wide kingdom for a thousand years with Jerusalem as its capital.
 
Immediately prior to the first day of the tribulation and the covenant confirmation ceremony, something exciting is going to happen to the true believers in Christ Jesus:
 
"For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first; then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.  Wherefore comfort one another with these words" (I Thessalonians 4:16-18).
