Chiropractic throughout the world presents itself as having an
answer to the cause of disease that is not accepted by the scientific
community. The fundamental deception all chiropractors have to
employ, (knowingly or unknowingly) is seen when they provide
what most of them call "THE Adjustment" sometimes referred
to as the treatment. This is the part of the chiropractic service
where they are now going to try and fix the problem they uncovered
from the tests they did on the patient when they first came to
them. They call this, as I said earlier, the adjustment. The
deception I alluded to above is that they are going to right
the wrong that was uncovered in their examination. The wrong
they are going to right is the misalignment they saw from their
examination, which can include x-rays, but may have only been
determined by what is called palpation. Their adjustment is given
to align the misalignment.
This is absolutely an undeterminable act and there is no known
diagnostic test, that is known to science where this finding
can be substantiated and thus proven to having been accomplished.
(Ex: The dentist finds a cavity that he says is the cause of
the pain. He proceeds to fix the problem and afterwards, post
testing can show that the cavity is gone and the patient can
testify that the pain is gone. Objective evidence AND objective
evidence.) And yet they tell the patient they have found the
vertebra or vertebrae to be out of alignment, and they announce
to their patient, "we have found the cause of your problem."
Now they are going to provide the remedy for the problem they
found. The problem?
THE MISALIGNMENT THEY SAY IS THE CAUSE OF THE PROBLEM THAT
BROUGHT THE PATIENT TO SEE THE CHIROPRACTOR. To the patient the
problem is the pain. To the chiropractor, the problem is "The
subluxation ." This is the technical word for the spinal
bone being out of place.
So the deception arises when they give their adjustment, usually
accompanied with a popping sound, leaving the impression that
the misaligned vertebra is now aligned.
As I stated above, the success or failure of this effort,
"restoring the misaligned to the aligned position, is undeterminable
from an objective standpoint. In other words, if they were to
have to confirm if they were successful or not successful in
getting the bone back in place all they could offer as proof
is their opinion. They have no test or diagnostic instrument
to confirm this has or has not been accomplished other than to
re-x-ray
The success or failure of their service is based entirely
on the testimony of the patient. And in the eyes of the patient,
they succeeded when the pain was relieved. So while this is what
the patient came for, and this is what they had hoped they would
get, when it does occur, when the patients pain has been relieved,
that the reason the chiropractor gave as THE CAUSE of the pain,
to be due to a vertebra or vertebrae being out of place, as far
as they are concerned, the chiropractor was right and he succeeded
in getting it back in place. The discovery occurs when people
like myself stumbled onto something very peculiar. Post x-ray
of patients who were feeling better, in the vast majority of
cases revealed the misalignment to still be there?
The pain is completely gone and the spine is unchanged?
Without going any further, in the interest of trying to keep
it easy to understand, let me now tell you why I believe this
is a specific example of what we are being told about in 2 Cor.
10:4.
I believe that while True Christians have uncovered the purpose
of life and that is to serve God, the work of the enemy is to
present ways that men will come to believe they are serving God,
and they are not. They have been deceived. The joy that one is
blessed with as they serve the true and living God is the ultimate
evidence that this and this alone, to know this is worth more
to the beholder that all the treasures of this world. What needs
to be understood is that satan offers a way that appears right
unto man but the end thereof is death. (Proverbs 14:12)
Chiropractic becomes to the chiropractor a way that they believe
is honoring God. A way that brings Him glory. A way that allows
them to believe they are doing things GODS WAY.
As child of God NOW, MADE POSSIBLE BY FAITH IN CHRIST JESUS,
I do not believe one can walk in Gods Word and remain a chiropractor.
It is my burden to expose this to my brothers and sisters.
In closing let me say this. I do not have hate in my heart towards
any chiropractor. I know who the real enemy is and I know he
has blinded the eyes of so many. If you can advise me I would
be most grateful.
I have brought this to the attention of my pastor and our adult
Bible school teacher and they advised me that as long as it does
help people at times and I tell them up front I may not be able
to help them, they saw no reason I should not continue?
My study of Gods Word convicted me of the sin of believing
in the tenants of chiropractic and while it has been difficult
to support my family and I, God has provided. I am thus persuaded
that this is a work of the devil. In short, there is no way to
practice chiropractic and do so honestly in the sight of man
and God.
I know I am right about THE DECEPTION and that Gods Word is very
clear that no liars or deceivers will enter heaven when their
life on earth ends or our Lord returns first.
To God be the Glory.
