Letters to Broadcasting Companies About

Anti - Trinitarian Preachers Armstrong's Splinter Groups

April 16, 2007
Mr. Donald Crawford, Sr.
President Crawford Broadcasting (owns Station KLT in Denver CO)
725 Skippack Pike
Suite 210
Bluebell, PA 19422

Dear Brother Crawford:

Grace and peace to you in Christ Jesus.

Again, I am writing to warn you of the anti-Trinitarian -- and hence anti-Christian -- doctrines being promoted by Ronald L. Dart, through his Born to Win program which airs over many Crawford brcadcasting stations. Dart unequivocally teaches and promotes many of the doctrines of the late Herbert W. Armstrong. Also Crawford station KCBC 770 AM is airing another Armstrong splinter group program, The Wonderful World Tomorrow, produced by the Church of God Modesto, www.cog-eim.org. This program has been cancelled by eleven Christian stations.

I have sufficiently documented many of Dart’s unorthodox teachings. I have enclosed documentation for your viewing. PLEASE, for Jesus’ sake, do something about stopping this unorthodox teaching from making further inroads where young, weak and/or immature Christians are influenced. It has no place on any evangelical Christian radio station.

My concern is that by airing programs of organizations, when examined more closely are actualy unorthodox, people are deceived. This deception is enhanced when programs to promote their ministry are placed among well-known evangelical ministers and ministries.

There is a relationship of trust between Christians and Christian radio and television stations that the programs they air are produced by groups that at least meet the basic criteria of orthodoxy. Otherwise, we will soon have more Armstrong groups, Jehovah’s Witnesses, Mormons, and other counterfeit Christian organizations using Christian stations to draw unsuspecting listeners into their folds.

Many Christian stations are realizing Ronald L. Dart is not orthodox. His program Born to Win has been cancelled from Twenty Christian stations, including Trevecca Nazarene University’s WENO 760 AM. and most recently American Family Radio.

In closing, having Ronald L. Dart’s program on Crawford stations is equivalent to giving acceptance to a program by the Jehovah’s Witnesses.

My prayer is that you, Brother Crawford, will investigate what I have written and documented and remove Born to Win and The Wonderful World Tomorrow from Crawford’s programming schedule before many others are misled.

Very respectfully in Christ,

James Kieferdorf

RIGHT ON! I WISH CHRISTIAN STATIONS FOLLOW THIS EXAMPLE BELOW WRITES JAMES KIEFERDORF

Peter Hawkins contacted Radio Pulpit about the possibility of broadcasting to South African audiences. Unfortunately Radio Pulpit requires any would-be broadcaster to sign a statement agreeing to the doctrine of the Trinity. But Mr. Hawkins will continue to explore other radio opportunities as well as meeting with a representative of Reader's Digest to discuss possible advertisements.

Comment in a letter to Kieferdorf,
"I'm telling you this simply to let you know that your stand, as expressed in protest to Christian radio stations who lack the discernment to disengage from Armstrong off-shoots, was well presented and has given me valuable information about Dart and his ministry. Our son has mentioned him as one who is not legalistic and they have attended a Feast where he was present. They think he's the greatest.... Thanks again,, Gerry Anderson, Calgary, AB

Dear Brother Tom in Christ,

I am writing to warn you of the anti-Trinitarian programs being promoted by the following two unorthodox groups through their radio programs which you broadcast over your network.

The first program is Born to Win with Ronald L. Dart. Dart is not only anti-Trinitarian, but promotes many of the doctrines of the late Herbert W. Armstrong. Dart is a former Baptist, who attended a Christian college to study for the ministry. Dart had it with the Baptist faith, claimed it was not right, and joined Herbert W. Armstrong’s radio Church of God in 1958 (the original name of the Worldwide Church of God). Dart left the church with Garner Ted Armstrong in 1978 and became Vice President of the Church of God International (CGI) with Garner Ted as President. Dart left the CGI in 1995 to form Christian Educational Ministries. It is very difficult to know when listening to Dart’s Born to Win radio program that his beliefs are very different from orthodox evangelical Christianity. These he introduces later in his literature, tapes, and other Armstrong splinter group’s websites.

On the following website http://www.zoomnet.net/~bbratt/trinity.html are articles by Armstrong splinter groups attacking the Blessed Trinity. This site even includes Herbert W. Armstrong’s grandson. Look who the first person with an anti-Trinitarian article, it’s Ronald L. Dart. Not only does Dart deny the Blessed Trinity as his book The Lonely God indicates, but he denies other orthodox doctrines as well.

Many Christian stations are realizing Ronald L. Dart is not orthodox. His program Born to Win has been cancelled from over twenty Christian stations, including Trevecca Nazarene University’s WENO 760AM, and most recently American Family Radio. Also thirty-eight programs by these Armstrong groups have been cancelled by leading Christian TV and radio stations throughout the United States.

The second program is Politics and Religion with Irvin Baxter. Baxter is another anti-Trinitarian. You can read this at http ://www.endtime.com/specialpage-print.asp?PagelD=19

His tape True Christianity v. False Christianity is full of attacks on the Blessed Trinity. He refers to the Trinity as "false doctrine." He states "Satan knew what he was doing when he hatched this doctrine of a plurality of deities." I think it’s pretty clear what Baxter is trying to say. Many more quotes could be shown of Baxter’s anti-Trinitarianism. I myself find these statements OFFENSIVE and UNCHRISTIAN.

As you can see Ronald L. Dart and Irvin Baxter want nothing to do with one of the fundamentals of the Christian faith, the Blessed Trinity.

On ACN’s homepage it states, "The finest Christian Bible teachers and leaders in the world are all on ACN." !s this really true?

Concerning Baxter’s prophecy views, Dr. David Regan of Lamb and Lion Ministries, a well respected evangelical states, "It doesn’t take long to discover that Mr. Baxter is a person with a very personal and unique interpretation of Bible prophecy," something we are warned against in the Scriptures (2 Peter 1:20). http://wwwraptureready.com/who/Irvin_Baxter.html

In closing, my concern is that by airing programs of organizations, when examined more closely are actually unorthodox, people are deceived. This deception is enhanced when programs to promote their ministry are placed among well-known evangelical ministers and ministries.

There is a relationship of trust between Christians and Christian radio and television stations that the programs they air are produced by groups that at least meet the basic criteria of orthodoxy. Otherwise, we will soon have more Armstrong groups, Jehovah’s Witnesses, Mormons, and other unorthodox organizations using Christian stations to draw unsuspecting listeners into their folds.

My prayer is that you, Brother Torn, will investigate what I have written and documented and remove these two programs from ACN’s programming schedule before many others are misled.

Very respectfully in Christ,
James Kieferdorf

More proof that Irvin Baxter is anti trinitarian is findable on page 2 of an article about "Abominations of the Earth." http://www.endtime.com/specialpage-print.asp?PageID=19

Paragraph: The Mother of Harlots "... Throughout the New Testament God's true church has been called the bride of Jesus Christ (IICor.11:1-3 and Rev. 21:2). In order to be the bride, we must take the name of the bridegroom. The way we can take the name of Jesus is through baptism (Gal 3:27). Except we are baptized in the name, we can't be in the bride. [NOTICE NO TRINIY BAPTISM] This brings us to a crucial question: how does our church baptize? .... they tell you that until 325 A.D. baptism in the name of Jesus Christ was the accepted formula.

BAXTER THEN GOES ON TO PROVE IT FROM CANNY ENCYCLOPEDIA PG. 53, A DICTIONARY OF THE BIBLE BY SCRIBNERS, PG 241; A DICTIONARY OF THE BIBLE BY JAMES HASTINGS AND ENCYCLOPEDIA BRITANNICA, THE 11TH EDITION, VOL 3 PP. 365-366. He goes on to state: "On the other hand, no one in the Bible was ever baptized using the titles "Father, Son, and Holy Ghost," until 325 A.D. this formula was never used or recognized as valid. [EDNOTE: THAT IS FALSE DOCTRINE. SATAN HAS A STACKED DECK. THE WORLDLY "HISTORICAL SOCALLED TRUTHS" CANNOT BE RELIED UPON WHEN THE BIBLE CLEARLY STATES THAT THE BIBLE IS THE ONLY TRUTH THAT IS TRUE].

To: Will Getz,
REF: UNORTHODOX MINISTRY AIRING ON KGMS 940AM
Brother Will,

Why is Doug Martin, President of KGMS 940AM still allowing a
Herbert W. Armstrong splinter group to air on this fine station? I see
Pastor Martin as well as other fine evangelicals on KGMS along with the
United Church of God’s program "Beyond Today".

The UCG is not only very anti-Trinitarian i.e. "The Trinity IS false", but they also have many unorthodox teachings and attack Biblical Christianity. I myself have met, even at a Christian college who thought the UCG was an evangelical Orthodox ministry.

It surely seems as if Mr. Martin is not concerned about unorthodox ministries lumped together with evangelical ministries. I have sent him a 7-page letter along with material from UCG documenting many of their unorthodox teachings. He never responded.

I believe Mr. Martin needs to really take a serious look at the UCG before many Christians are misled.

BTW: "Beyond Today" has been cancelled from KLIC 1230AM and KBLC lO7OAm. Could KGMS do the same?
In Christ,
James Kieferdorf
