[Ednote: I like to listen to BookTV and learn about the history of the U.S. and many other interesting subjects. I'm trying to find answers to all my questions. The question that looms biggest in my heart is, "How could today be happening in the United States that was founded on "We The People"..?" I have watched the deterioration for years and can't believe that nobody cares. All we have to do is look at the clothing our young ones insist on and bodies they push through the crowds, to see the hopelessness that is going on in their hearts. That is not the United States that I grew up in. Having been transplanted as a US citizen, to New York from a small town near Hamburg, Germany in 1947, I know why people like me came here. It was freedom of expression and religion foremost, because I lacked nothing in the old country economically. But for many it was poverty, unemployment and desparation. These two groups is what the struggle is about now and the second group has submerged the first. I was impressed with America as indeed a deliverer from a madman. But what I see today has me extremely concerned about my freedom to practice my belief. We are about to enter a time prophesied in the Bible history repeating by entering into the dark ages once again where the Word is not going to be found
If we can't preach what we are supposed to, there is a problem, isn't there? It seems to me the U.S. as we knew it has ceased to exist. Who is watching the store? I just finiished a video of 4 parts "They Sold Their Souls for Rock and Roll." by the Fight the Good Fight Ministry. Having listened to thousands of people and seen hundreds of videos that production stands out from the rest and should motivate us to do something, anything to try to preserve our young people from what is happening all over this country and subsequently moved out to the rest of the world at unprecedented speed. 'Roll and Roll' has even entered the churches including the Catholic Church. The last of the four videos addresses "The Columbine High School Shooting" and a teens life who had innocently become involved in the under-belly of our culture. The parents proved that a child can be rescued. God took her up to heaven after she had given her life to the Lord. He does that in some cases to preserve their eternal life in Christ Jesus when He finds weaknesses in a child that they have a problem controlling and fall back into darkness. What you are about to read is about the Founding Fathers of America and their fall, which is the only way I can interpret where we are today. Lou Dobbs on CNN (8.24.04), as is often done in the media, showed a quick glance at what is really going on in cities due to the many factories that have left the country. Breadlines of hundreds of people who have lost their homes and everything they have due to joblessness. Apparently places have been arranged where families can pick two items off the shelf for food to get them through a few more days. They stand in line for hours to get that opportunity. I had been waiting for this moment because it was obvious this was coming listening to the reports. So what's next you might ask. What do the people I get news from expect? Revolution. It has to go there when you apply simple reasoning of putting two and two together. There seems to be no mention in the White House of plans to counteract this possibility either. That is why it has to go there. Nobody has any solutions for what they have allowed, bringing in the New World Order. Their focus is completely on other countries. What took the cake just a few days ago: A Mexican flag was placed next to an American flag in a class room in Colorado. The tip of iceberg made its appearance. The parents (WASPS only) were outraged and walked on the school principle to get that Mexican flag off the wall. It was a sign of life and a sign of hope that people are getting wise to what is happening after all. The school teacher had no choice but to remove it. She seemed to think it was okay to hang it in the first place which proves that she had been brainwashed with the goals of the United Nations. The problem is, nobody wants a revolution because it means shedding blood once again to maintain our freedoms. The is always the end game. Freedom is not free. Many have died in the past to give us what we have had so far. We are responsible for not teaching our kids their heritage but instead have complained that nothing was good enough and that is what they are stuck with and because of depression they tend to turn to the black arts like Heavy Metal which begins with "Rock n Roll." I hope you'll read on because this is a very sweet story to begin with and takes you to the now. [Endnote] This is a story about Thelma and El Duane Whatley who Chose to be a WASP. Why I Chose to be a White Anglo-Saxon Protestant Male I am white, being what is normally referred to as a Caucasian. My ancient ancestors may have come from the Caucasus Mountain Range between the Black and Caspian Seas. I don't know. I am an Anglo-Saxon, or at least my ancestry, partly, lies in Merry Olde England, and my ancestors came from SW England, around Somerset Shire, or County. The Angles, the Saxons, and the Jutes settled southern England many centuries ago. So I may be Anglo-Saxon-Jute. Or Scandahoovian. Or Norwegian (from Norway), or Swedish, etc. I don't know. I am a Protestant. I was raised to protest the Roman Catholic Church and its teachings, or at least the ones my family objected to. These days, I don't protest nearly so much. My parents have protested against me and my teachings. So I let up on everyone else. Sounds fair to me. I am a male. I was born with the usual equipment that is commonly identified as male parts. I seem to be blessed with the normal amount of testosterone. Or, at least, my wife thinks so. I cannot find anything in my dresser drawers, or in the closet, or in the garage, or the shop, or anywhere else, after I have laid a physical object down for over fifteen minutes. My wife says this is male blindness. Males cannot see what females can see. My daughters say I lack the uterine homing device that all females possess. And I never stop to ask for directions until I am really certain I am lost. It sometimes takes hours and dozens of miles of driving to determine if I am lost. This is evidently a male trait. I am a male. I am larger than my wife. Males are usually larger. ~~~~~~~~~~ What's the point? The point is that I DID NOT REALLY CHOOSE to be a white Anglo-Saxon Protestant Male. What amazes me is that there are people who go around living their life in total denial, and acting AS IF THEY CHOSE TO BE A WHITE ANGLO-SAXON MALE. Am I missing something? I am light-skinned and blue-eyed. I have somewhat narrow lips, at least the portion that shows on the outside of my mouth. The inward part is just as thick as anyone's. Did I choose my skin color? No! Eye color, did I choose it? No! Body size and shape? Did I choose it? No! Well, if I did not eat like a fattening hog, I might be a bit smaller around. But I never chose to be a white person. Therefore, I have no advantage, nor should have, over anyone else. NOT ONE PERSON ON EARTH CHOSE HIS OR HER SKIN COLOR. So why should we knock each other? I never chose to be Anglo-Saxon. I never chose my English ancestry (Whatley, Bailey, Woodhull, Adams, Gregg, Edwards, Porter, Wharton, Shirley, Smith). I also never chose my Cherokee Indian ancestry (Poston, Conner). I never chose my French (Mandeville, Fuqua, Cherry [Cherie], DuBois) ancestry. I never chose my German (Myers) (Bumgarner [Baumgartner], Troutman, Hoffman, Hasbrouck, Keener, Hartman, Nagal) ancestry. I am proud of who I am and what I am, but I never had any choice about the accident of birth and ancestry. I never chose my ethnic background. I doubt if you did, either. I find it interesting that, if I go back about 20 generations, I am descended from nearly everyone in Europe at circa 1200 A. D. Our ancestors double in number at every generation. I never chose to be a Protestant. My parents were and are Protestants. I was born into Protestantism. Among the things listed that make me a WASP, the religious orientation is the only one I could have changed after I got old enough to give it any consideration. And I have greatly changed some of my religious beliefs and views. I don't protest Roman Catholicism any more. May be I am not now a Protestant. I don't know. This one changeable thing I have changed some because after I became a grown person, I began to examine ideas on my own, with many others' input. This seems to be the way to go. But this does not make me better than anyone else. I was born male, and cannot change my gender. Well, I could perhaps alter it somewhat. But the point is that I did not choose to be a male, and my sister did not choose to be a female. What credit or blame could be assigned to me for CHOOSING TO BE MALE when I had absolutely no say-so in it in any way whatsoever. I am dismayed at male chauvinist hogs, even as my sister and daughters, and wife, and other women are. I did not choose my gender. I DO choose not to be a fool and ACT as if I chose my color,
ancestry, or gender. If you have been acting like a fool about
these things, then why don't you stop doing it? Respectfully
speaking, of course.
Thomas Langhorne Phipps writes: "I am a member of the privileged American class known as the WASPs, the silver spoon people, the people who were handed things from an early age and stepped into a safe, clean, white world." He writes: In profiles of specific American classes, people like us visits the group that for over a century has been considered to be the top of the social pyramid the White Anglo Saxon Protestants, or WASPs, whose ways of dressing and acting have been widely imitated. New York blueblood Thomas Langhorne Phipps serves as our guide, providing a peek at the self-image of this tightly-knit class ("We stand better, we walk better, we speak better, we dress better, we eat better, were smarter, were more cultured and we treat people better..."). Other WASP observers offer a collection of "WASP lessons" that help them spot the real thing (madras pants, threadbare Oriental carpets, absolutely no artificial flowers). http://www.pbs.org/peoplelikeus/film/wasp.html The encyclopedia describes WASPs as follows: HistoryEnglish was inherited from British colonization. The first wave of English-speaking immigrants was settled in North America in the 17th century. In this century, there were also speakers in North America of the Dutch, French, German, Native American, Spanish, Swedish and Finnish languages. ..White Whites is a broad term developed in the eighteenth century to describe Caucasian people as an ethnic descent, especially those with fair skin. It is often used in contrast with other "racial" color terms, such as black or yellow. Although the most prevalent term in casual conversation, "white" is increasingly rarely used in academic and formal discussion of racial demographics, however it is still often used in discussions of racial attitudes, particularly in the humanities, and in fields such as Black studies, Critical race theory, and Whiteness studies. "White" is also the dominant term in many discourses of racial superiority, supremacy, and separatism, such as the White power movement. Anglo-Saxon The Anglo-Saxons were a Germanic people who inhabited Britain from the mid-5th century AD. Anglo-Saxon occupation of Britain is traditionally considered the origin of the modern English nation. The Anglo-Saxon InvasionsIn 410, the Roman emperor Honorius
had replied to a petition for help from the inhabitants of Britain
that they should "look to their own affairs". Protestant
Protestantism in the strict sense of the word is the group of
princes and imperial cities who, at the diet of Speyer in 1529,
signed a protestation against the Edict of Worms which forbade
the Lutheran teachings within the Holy Roman Empire. From there,
the word Protestant in German speaking areas still refers to
Lutheran churches in contrast to Reformed churches, while the
common designation for all churches originating from the Reformation
is Evangelical. The United States of America (U.S.A.), also referred to as the United States (U.S.), America¹, or the States, is a federal republic in North America and the Pacific Ocean (the islands of Hawaii, and the Aleutians). It extends from the Atlantic coast in the east to the Pacific Ocean in the west. It shares land borders with Canada in the north and Mexico in the south, shares a marine border with Russia in the west, and has a collection of districts, territories, and possessions around the world including Puerto Rico, Midway Atoll, and Guam. The country has fifty states, which have a level of local autonomy according to the system of federalism. A United States citizen is usually identified as an American¹.
[America is really] colonized America or the thirteen colonies of Briton. See European colonization of the Americas or British colonization of the Americas in the encyclopedia. Starting in the late 16th century, the British began to colonize North America. The first attempts, notably the Colony of Roanoke, resulted in failure, but successful colonies were soon established. The colonists who came to the New World were those who often have a certain amount of social standing and may or may not be part of the Establishment Establishment is a generalized, mostly negatively used term used by activists and social critics of western societies, which refers to the controlling structures of modern society. The "establishment" is often said to be holding a lock on wealth and societal organization. In the 1960s and 1970s "The Establishment" became seen as representing restrictive, authoritarian approaches. It was associated with age, as the old fashioned way of doing things, the status quo referring to the denominations of Northern European Christianity, [Ednote: Look at this in the Encyclopedia? That is an outright lie. Our God is a triune God.] Christianity is a monotheistic religion, encompassing many religious traditions that trace their origins to Jesus Christ. Christians believe that Jesus is the Son of God, and the Lord and sole Savior of all humanity as the Jewish Messiah. Over the past two millenia, Christianity has diverged into three main branches: Catholicism, Protestantism, and Eastern Orthodox. Collectively, it is the world's largest single religion, with over two billion adherents. Probably encompassed by the WASP idea included Episcopal Churches. The word Episcopal is derived from the Greek ?p?s??p?? epískopos, which literally means "overseer"; the word however is used in religious terms to mean bishop. Episcopal Churches Episcopal churches are the churches with bishops, but in the more specific sense non-catholic and non-orthodox churches, and in particular churches founded on the model of Henry VIII's reformed Church of England. The use of episcopal to describe a church is most commonly used to distinguish the organisational structure of protestant churches, thus the word Presbyterian is used to describe churches ruled by elected Elders (Greek p?esß?t?? Anglican: The term Anglican describes those people and churches following the religious traditions of the Church of England, especially following the Reformation. Anglicans trace these traditions back to the first followers of Jesus, but acknowledge that schisms occurred first with the Orthodox then with the Roman Catholic churches. Like Orthodox and Roman Catholic churches (and unlike many Protestant churches), Anglicans maintain authority within the church through apostolic succession. The official position of the Anglican Church (reflected for example in their website) is very explicitly that the Church of England upholds the Catholic faith, and the Church of England is in full communion with the Old Catholic Churches. Presbyterian: Presbyterian government of a church is typified by the rule of an assembly of presbyters, or elders. It was developed as a rejection of rule by hierarchies of single bishops (episcopalian church government). This theory of government is strongly associated with the Swiss and Scottish Protestant Reformation movements, with the Reformed churches, and more particularly with the Presbyterian church - the first Presbyterian church was the Church of Scotland. John Calvin was influential in its formulation. Presbyterianism is constructed on specific assumptions about the form of the government intended by the New Testament: Lutheran: The Lutheran movement is a group of denominations
of Protestant Christianity by the original definition. History
of Lutheranism as a movement traces its origin to the work of
Martin Luther, a religious scholar who sought to reform the practices
of the Roman Catholic Church in the early 16th century. What
started as an academic debate quickly evolved into a religious
war, fueled by the political climate of the Holy Roman Empire
and strong personalities on both sides. Methodist: The Methodist movement is a group of denominations of Protestant Christianity. The Wesleyan revival, called the Methodist revival, originated in England. It was started by John Wesley, his younger brother Charles and George Whitefield as a movement within the Church of England in the 18th century, focused on Bible study, and a methodical approach to scriptures. The term "Methodist" was a pejorative college nickname that was bestowed upon a small society of students at Oxford, who met together between 1729 and 1735 for the purpose of mutual improvement. They were accustomed to communicate every week, to fast regularly and to abstain from most forms of amusement and luxury. They also frequently visited poor and sick persons and prisoners in the gaol. Congregationalist: Congregationalism is a form of church government in which every local congregation is independent. The Anabaptist movement, Baptists, and the Congregationalist churches are organized according to it. In Christianity, it is distinguished from presbyterian government, and episcopalian government. Congregationalism is not limited only to the organization of Christian congregations. Most of the principles of congregationalism have been inherited by the Unitarian Universalist Association, by direct historical descent from the Congregational Church. The Neopagan Church of Wicca, and numerous other religious groups, which may dispense entirely with Biblical or Christian rationale, have adopted part or all of the congregationalist plan of organization. Puritan: The Puritans were a group of radical Protestants who developed in England after the Reformation. The word puritan is now applied unevenly to a number of Protestant churches from the late sixteenth century to the early eighteenth century. However, Puritans did not, by and large, use the term for themselves, and the word was always a descriptor of a type of religious innovation, rather than a particular church. The closest analogy in the present day to the meaning of "Puritan" in the 17th century would be "fundamentalist": Puritanism was a movement rather than a denomination. Dutch Reformed: The Dutch Reformed Church or Netherlands Reformed Church (in Dutch: Nederlandse Hervormde Kerk (NHK)) is a denomination of Christian Protestantism based on the teachings of John Calvin. It is the oldest Reformed church in the Netherlands and formerly enjoyed status as the state church. It was founded in 1618 and became the state religion in 1651. It has 2.3 million members and 1350 churches. Quaker: The Religious Society of Friends, commonly known as Quakers or Friends, is a religious community founded in England during the 17th century. Quakers are counted among the historic Peace churches and have congregations scattered across the world. Though the number of Quakers in the world is rather small -- approximately 600,000 people -- Quakers have shaped the world to a degree far beyond their numbers. Northern Baptist: The Northern Baptist Convention was founded in Washington, D.C. on May 17, 1907. Charles Evans Hughes, the governor of New York, served the body as its first president. Soon after this organization was founded, most of the churches of the Free Will Baptist General Conference merged with it in 1911. The Northern Baptist Convention is directly related to the old Triennial Convention formed in Southern Baptist: The Southern Baptist Convention (SBC) is a U. S. cooperative ministry agency serving missionary Baptist churches around the world. The words Southern Baptist Convention refer both to the denomination and its annual meeting of delegates. Because Baptist churches believe strongly in the local autonomy of the church, the SBC can be seen mainly as a cooperative organization by which churches can pool resources, rather than as a body with any administrative control over local churches. It does, however, maintain a central administrative organization based in Nashville, Tennessee. The Northern European ethnicities which originated those faiths and brought them to North America North America is the third largest continent in area and the fourth ranked in population. It is bounded on the north by the Arctic Ocean, on the east by the North Atlantic Ocean, on the south by the Caribbean Sea, and on the west by the North Pacific Ocean. It covers an area of 9,355,000 square miles (24,230,000 square kilometres). In 2001 its population was estimated at 454,225,000. The English Royal motto: Dieu et mon droit (French: "God
and my right") languages English is de facto. The Scots tribe originated from Ireland, from the now-called counties Antrim and Down. In 500 under King Fergus, the Scots invaded Argyll and established the realm known as Dál Riata (Dalriada) in the Pictish lands known as Caledonian by the Romans. However, the relationship between these two peoples begins earlier: around 300 when the Romans recorded almost 300 frontier attacks by the Picti and the Scotti. Welshmen, Wales most commonly refers to the country in the United Kingdom, Wales. It is also the name of several other places: Wales, South Yorkshire, United Kingdom - Wales, Maine - Wales, Massachusetts - Wales, Michigan - Wales, New York - North Wales, Pennsylvania - and in Canada: a place in Township of South Stormont, Ontario. In contemporary use, the term is usually used to denote wealthier, educated Protestants, often in the context of high society, prep school, or Ivy League-level college educations. The term, when used this way, is most often applied to the New England and the Northeast. However, these regions now have majority Catholic populations, and are no longer WASP heartlands. The term WASP is less commonly used in the Midwest, where generations of Yankee pioneers and farmers settled, though this region maintains a Protestant majority. In the South, the term is more common than in the Midwest, although because the South is majority Southern Baptist, a denomination which has different educational and cultural values than their Northern American Protestant counterparts, the term does not entirely fit. The term WASP generally is used to distinguish this group from latter-day white Catholic, Eastern Orthodox, or Jewish immigrants who are otherwise successful but lack the pedigree the term implies. As such, it is often used pejoratively and may be considered somewhat racist or race-conscious and/or anti-Semitic. The sociologically, the term is somewhat ahistoric etymologically, simplistic and somewhat trite, but is used pervasively to describe a certain set of the American population. http://encyclopedia.thefreedictionary.com/Wasp
That question of describing the compelling fascination of hearing a new W.A.S.P. album likewise serves to define the magnitude of contemplative passion, as narrated by The Neon God [Neon=New]. The first of a two-part conceptual album, Part IThe Rise begins to distinguish what will possibly be regarded as the most ambitious work of a prolific career that has distanced an abundance of varied creative expression. Controversy ignited by the reactionary firestorm of Animal (Fuck Like A Beast) prompted Capitol Records to preclude the track from the debut W.A.S.P. album twenty years ago. But the notorious success of that song as an independent single, paired with a visually extreme stage show, would constrictively define the band for its first several years, until the witch hunt of moralist congressional hearingsultimately masking distinct political ambitionprovoked an affirmation of stylistic diversity. That impact was demonstrative as a more conscious lyrical commentary, driven by the intensity of a harder musical edge, resulting in the release of The Headless Children in 1989. With the curtain of a career defined until then by the salaciousness of songs like Wild Child and L.O.V.E. Machine pulled back to reveal a greater depth of substantively emotive music, the gamut of The Crimson Idol delineated Biblical arcanum and Shakespearean pageantry to celebrated effect. The introspective aspect of Still Not Black Enough led to the raging anger of Kill Fuck Die, the uneasy allegorical performances of that subsequent tour meant to incite debate over the impending cycle of a Presidential electoral campaign. The release of Helldorado in 1999 marked a return to the rambunctious
spirit of recklessness that categorized the first albums,
a suitable respite to antedate the seriousness of the following
album. Unholy Terror constituted a topical assessment of misguided
supremacy, with certain songs like the title track and Charisma
proving to be subtly precursory of the themes of The Neon
God. Transcending the enormous shadow of The Crimson [red] Idol,
regarded by many as the consummate example of a conceptual album,
proved to be considerably challenging to the frontman. From
a story point of view, theres no comparison, he says,
alluding to the inevitable comparisons that will initially be
drawn between the two separate projects. This is War
And Peace, versus somebody just reading the preface of the
first page, is his sweeping metaphor for the complexity
of ideas wrapped within The Neon God. The necessity of freedom to allow ones own imagination to visualize different aspects of the story was something about which Blackie was completely conscious. I was careful not to give it geography, says the New York native, resulting in an individual interpretation to present a greater impact that words and music alone could achieve. Other songs display different examples of intensity, such as the emotive wail of What Ill Never Find, something the songwriter admits tore me up when I wrote it. Comparatively, tracks like Asylum #9 resonate with an expected forcefulness that is categorically W.A.S.P. The song kicks ass, Blackie laughs. But the anguish of The Raging Storm was the song admittedly hardest to write of the fourteen tracks. I went to the studio and spent twelve hours a day by myself, he says, explaining a painstaking process of just crafting one line, then stopping and looking at it. Lyrically written on multiple levels as representative of both individual perspective and societal collectivism, the symbolism of The Neon God is immense, with conflict between narcissism and conscience being a fundamental statement. What does it take to create a monster?
Blackie asks rhetorically, the resolution of that question being
a large focus of the first disc of The Neon God, with regard
to a namesake character derivative of the same perverse charisma
as that of David Koresh or Jim Jones. Where does somebody
have to get tweakedand how oftento turn them into
something that can potentially be this? That psychological
elaboration fuels a character to dangerous proportion within
his own mind. What takes this character further than other
cult leaders, he explains, is the messianism that he
actually believes, at times. Meant to be indicative of the commonality of the human psyche that questions its own necessity of purpose, the instigational intent of The Neon God is a challenge of introspection within an ambiance of the societal conception of its own false messiahs. Opening ones mind reveals The Neon God to be the story of a focal character as a euphemism for individual humanity.
W.A.S.P. Reveals Part One of THE NEON GOD Saga on April 6th - Through Sanctuary/Metal-Is Records W.A.S.P. The name is legend, having become associated with such controversial and mind numbing releases as The Headless Children, The Crimson Idol, K.F.D., Unholy Terror, and the notorious self-titled debut. April 6, 2004 will see the band evolve further with The Neon God: Part One The Rise, a conceptual rock opera that explores the tragedy and consequences of one boys search for acceptance and purpose in his existence. Opening with the line, Oh tell me my lord, why am I here?, The Neon God delves into such deeply emotional (and personal) inquiries, such as where does one fit into the great cosmic enigma? How does love fit into the equation? Should I use my gifts and talents for good or for evil? These are the primary thoughts all people have regarding their existence at one time or another. When addressed by a youth and coupled with an extreme dose of fear, a lethal combination develops. Part One The Rise tells the story of an abused and orphaned boy who finds that he has the ability to read and manipulate people. By utilizing his gifts, he is able to build a following whose devotion and allegiance create a loyalty so intense that he is poised to become a dark Messiah for the 21st Century. Ambitious in design, but no less potent than previous work, W.A.S.P. has reached a milestone many years in the making. The powerful, high-emotion story is set to the backdrop of W.A.S.Ps trademark nail-biting, theatrical style, from the guitar and soul-searing vocal performance of frontman Blackie Lawless to the intense percussion work of Frankie Banali, the bludgeoning bass work of Mike Duda, and the raging lead guitar styling of Darrell Roberts. One can only imagine what the live show will yield. Part 2 of The Neon God story will be released by Sanctuary/Metal-Is Records over the summer and will complete the awe-inspiring and jaw dropping story. Over the years, W.A.S.P. have created some of the most controversial and thought-provoking records in the history of metal. The Neon God is a labor of love for the band, an album that Blackie Lawless has talked about making for years. The Neon God is the next evolution in the musical beast that is W.A.S.P Most male WASPs are also Freemasons. They don't mix with dark skinned communities. Mormons resisted allowing dark skinned men and women to come into the priesthood. Freemasonry and the political power of the Roman Catholic Pope are responsible for the disintegration of the Protestant movement. The Catholic Church doesn't seem to be growing in the US without the influx of millions of immigrants from Mexico and South America which are predominantly Catholic. That is why the borders have been literally without protection to stop the influx. Not known to the general public is the fact that the Georgetown University of Washington, DC, where many of our leaders are trained or have worked professionally, is run by Jesuits. Jesuits are a Catholic Order which dates back to the Templars. Catholic Institutions get huge amounts of public funding from Washington to insure the growth of Catholicism as a by product. Most presidents have been friends of the Pope and regard him as the most powerful moral leader of the world. Here is what Christ Jesus had to say about that.
