Watch this interview where Dutch Sheets tells how he has waited
10 years for the fulfillment of a vision where the Lord showed
him that the next revival in America would begin among the youth.
CBN.com -- Revival is Here - On January 3, 2002, while Dutch
was ministering at a youth conference in Connecticut, he says
the Lord clearly spoke to him that we in America no longer need
to say revival "is coming." We can now declare, "It
has begun." Dutch has been waiting 10 years for the fulfillment
of a vision he received in 1992, in which the Lord clearly showed
him that the next revival in America would begin among the youth.
Dutch says we must still discern this spiritually, as the full
manifestation is not yet realized, but even though the fruit
is not yet apparent, it has begun. In 1 Kings 18:41 Elijah said,
"There is a sound of abundance of rain," even though
there was not yet any physical evidence of rain. Elijah heard
something in the Spirit that others weren't aware of and then
persevered in prayer until the clouds and wind came and brought
great rain.
On Saturday, Feb 2, 2002, as Dutch prepared for his sermon
the next day, he felt the Lord wanted to speak to him and he
was drawn to a stack of books and videos people had sent him.
He put in a video and the opening line was "Revival came
to Asbury College on February 3, 1970." Dutch felt this
was a sign that things would break out in churches across the
country the next day, which was the 32nd anniversary of the start
of the revival at Asbury. He says this has been confirmed as
he has gotten scores of e-mails from pastors with stories of
how something changed in their churches as the power of the Holy
Spirit was released in a new and stronger way on Sunday, Feb
3. One church planned to baptize 6 people, and 58 people came
forward. One pastor said his 8:30 a.m. service kept going and
the 10:30 a.m. service joined them and church wasn't over until
2:30 p.m. Six people had been attending a prayer meeting at a
Methodist church and overnight it grew to 26. One Baptist pastor
told Dutch he tried to get control of his service, but people
kept streaming to the altar.
REVIVAL AT IVY LEAGUE SCHOOLS
Dutch has received word of things beginning to break out at
six Ivy League colleges. At Princeton 500 of the 5, 000-member
student body are on fire for the Lord and are praying each week.
At Harvard intercessors from 62 countries are praying weekly
on campus. Eight graduate fellowships are united in prayer for
revival. Sixty graduate and undergraduate students recently held
an all-night prayer meeting.
REVIVAL COMING TO EAST COAST
On a recent trip to Florida, the Lord told Dutch, "The
Northeast gate is open; we must get a breakthrough in the Southeast.
Then I will connect them with the revival up and down the East
Coast." The next few months are extremely critical. Although
revival has begun, this doesn't mean its full manifestation is
guaranteed. Dutch says we must diligently seek to hear the strategies
of the Lord and then follow through on what He reveals. He believes
whether or not America experiences a Third Great Awakening of
revival that radically changes every area of society is hanging
in the balance. If we, the Body of Christ, don't hear the strategies
from the Lord, revival won't come to complete fruition.
THE BABY IS STILL IN ITS AFTERBIRTH
Regarding revival here in the United States, Dutch says the
Lord told him the baby (revival) has been born, but the cord
has not yet been cut. The baby is still in its afterbirth and
is not yet breathing. A friend reminded Dutch of Ezekiel 16:5
and 6, "
In the day you were born, when I passed by
you, and saw you polluted in your own blood, I said, Live."
Dutch says business as usual will not get the job done. We
must pray and fast, but with a different emphasis -- declare
revival has begun. Ask for signs & wonders. Believe for harvest.
Boldly ask for and believe for breakthroughs. (Ecclesiastes 3:3
says literally, "There is an appointed time for breakthrough.")
'REBUILDING THE ALTARS OF REVIVAL FOR OUR NATION'
CONFERENCE
- Dutch invites everyone to attend this conference in Colorado
Springs from May 16-18. Besides Dutch, the speakers will include
Lou Engle, Barbara Wentroble, Bishop Harry Jackson, and Tim Sheets.
He says there will be a revival anointing and atmosphere. Last
year's conference birthed the Kettle Tour, which was mightily
used by the Lord to help break open the Northeast gate of the
nation. Come see what will be released this year.

GOD-FEARING JUDGES ESSENTIAL TO NATIONAL REVIVAL
(AgapePress) - by Fred Jackson and Allie Martin - October
23, 2002 - A Colorado evangelist says the appointment of Godly
judges to the federal judiciary are critical to a national revival.
But the White House says that first step is not likely to occur
without a GOP majority in the U.S. Senate.
A White House spokesman says the Bush Administration is disappointed
the Senate adjourned without even considering President's Bush's
faith-based initiative. As White House liaison Tim Goeglein puts
it: "The Senate's Democratic majority has only succeeded
in gumming up the works."
But he says the bill, which extends federal support to religious
charities, can still pass if more Republicans are elected to
the Senate. "The president was hoping and was pushing and
lobbying and prodding to have the faith-based bill to his desk
before the election," Goeglein says. "We keep questioning
why the Democrats, who are in the leadership in the Senate, can't
get this done."
Goeglein says a Republican-controlled Senate could reconvene
after election day to pass the faith-based initiative -- and
confirm the president's judicial nominees, as well.
At least one evangelical leader would likely second that latter
issue. Dutch Sheets of Colorado says hopes for a national revival
hinge largely on God-fearing judges being appointed to the federal
judicial bench.
In an e-mail to his supporters, Sheets -- a Colorado Springs-based
pastor, author, and speaker -- calls on believers to pray that
God shifts the judicial system of America, including the removal
of the Senate's blockade of Godly judges.
Sheets cautions against allowing the issue to become a political
one. He says Christians need to make prayer toward biblical ideologies
of truth and righteousness the issue, not a party affiliation.
He says God spoke to him through the Old Testament Book of
Nehemiah, which tells of the restoration of Jerusalem. Sheets
says that while America's walls may have been rebuilt, the nation's
gates -- representing the courts -- are not in place. The courts,
he says, have been the most effective "gate" or entry
point the enemy has used to force humanistic, anti-biblical ideologies
into the fabric of America.
- Sheets, senior pastor of Springs Harvest Fellowship in Colorado
Springs, made headlines two years ago when he called out for
fervent prayer during the 2000 presidential election.

PRAYER IS A MEASURABLE SUBSTANCE
Dutch Sheets makes prayer "clearer". He says that
prayer is a measurable substance. God fills bowls with it. The
Life of Jesus flows from the womb of the Church to bring life
and healing to the nations. We will bring healing to the degree
we let this life flow through us. There is prayer that is more
than just petitioning God to do something.
LEAKY BOWLS
How to Give Your Prayers More Impact in Heaven
All of the prayer you have sown DOES amount to something!
However, we must not have a false sense of security that God
will override our prayerlessness. THIS IS CRITICAL: The provisions
of eternal life don't just come upon you -- they need to be laid
hold of.
SPIRITUAL WARFARE FOR THE LOST
Dutch gives a good teaching along with application so YOU
dont just hear the word but you learn to do it. He speaks
about how unbelievers minds are held captive like a castle that
has been taken over. He teaches how God has given us divine weapons
to go in and plunder that captive castle. He explains how the
gospel is veiled to those that are perishing and the word "veiled"
means "to hide or uncover." Unbelievers need revelation,
which means to lift the veil, to uncover their minds-- to remove
the veil, blow away the smoke screen.
GOSPEL IS MORONIC TO NATURAL MAN
The gospel is foolish or moronic to the natural man. He/She
needs revelation to be able to see it. "The weapons of our
warfare are not carnal but are mighty through God to the pulling
down of strongholds casting down arguments and every high thing
that exalts it self against the knowledge of God, bringing every
thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ. "
GENERALS OF INTERCESSION
How God Can Use Your Prayers to Move Heaven and Earth. If God
is all-powerful, why does He need us to pray? If we pray and
nothing happens, does this mean that God isn't listening?
Pastor and teacher Dutch Sheets explains the nuts and bolts
of prayer, with wisdom, gentleness and humor. This book will
inspire you, give you the courage to pray for the "impossible"
and help you find the persistence to see your prayers to completion.

Praying for America - How Your Prayers Can Change the Course
of a Nation
AMERICA! A NEW DAY IS UPON US
America! A new day is upon us, and we will never be the same.
We have awakened to a new world and embarked on a new course-
filled with a renewed spirit of unity. But what does the
future hold? Will we be led by our passions or led by our God?
More than ever, more of our citizens are praying to God for
protection, for guidance, for wisdom, for His will to be done
on Earth as it is in heaven. Dutch Sheets's plea that America
return to its roots and become a country that trusts in God and
fears no one but God Himself is as timely as it is timeless.
In Praying for America, this national prayer leader and best-selling
author exhorts the Church to remain watchful- to discern what
God is saying to the Church and learn what His plans are for
our families, our cities and the land we love.
With the countries of the world behind us, we standunited,
patrioticand humbled as a nation, ready to confront our future.
Our spirit will not be broken; we shall overcome. As we cry out
to God for our future- and the future of our children- may God
bless America once again!
"If you love America, don't delay reading this book.
This is a prophetic, wise, powerful teaching and a penetrating
analysis of the state of the nation and the church in our day.
In Praying for America, one of America's best-loved Bible teachers
gives us a reason to weep and a reason to hope." -John Dawson,
Author of Healing America's Wounds
Despite the warnings, we have allowed our nation to slip to
the bring of moral and spiritual ruin. Is it time to give up?
Dutch Sheets passionately cries out "No!" Packing a
powerful one-two punch of historical and biblical mandates, Sheets
prods us to rethink how we view and impact our nation. If you
want to join Sheets and become a history maker with an eternal
sway on our nation, then you need to read Praying for America.-Pat

PRAYER LEADER SAYS AMERICA'S 'REVIVAL IS HERE'
Dutch Sheets believes it 'will turn the entire nation back
to God' - As millions prepared to join in the National Day of
Prayer (NDP), they received encouragement from a leading figure
in the country's prayer and intercession movement who said that
America is poised on the threshold of revival.
Speaking at a citywide prayer meeting in Washington, D.C.,
last night, speaker and author Dutch Sheets said: "We have
shifted into a new season, a season to break through over this
nation."
Addressing more than 200 people at Christ Our Shepherd Church,
Sheets urged pastors and intercessors to use the book of Acts
to pray boldly for their communities, expecting signs and wonders
to follow.
The pastor of Springs Harvest Fellowship in Colorado Springs,
Colo., a central figure in rallying what many believe was pivotal
prayer during the 2000 presidential elections, said that God
told him in January: "You no longer have to say revival
is coming, it is here."
He later contacted several pastors across the country and
found unexpected moves of God had occurred. In one church where
a handful of people were to be baptized more than 50 spontaneously
went forward. A church service that began at 8:30 a.m. continued
for six hours, he said.
He had also received reports of accounts of revival breaking
out in Ivy League schools, with 500 conversions at Princeton
and all-night prayer meetings at Harvard. "It's time to
legislate in the heavens," Sheets said last night. "It's
a season for rain. The results of 9/11 were only the beginnings
of change in this nation. A great revival is coming -- a sustained
revival -- one that will turn the entire nation back to God."
NDP organizers were predicting that the Sept. 11 terrorist
attacks would prompt a record turnout today, with up to 50,000
events across the country. A public Genesis-to-Revelation reading
of the entire Bible preceded the gathering in the capital.
Two separate events were scheduled for Ventura, Calif., where
an interfaith event was organized by some who felt the
main event excluded non - Christians. Fawn Parish, one of the
organizers of the Christian service, told "The Los Angeles
Times": "In our heart it is to be inclusive. But it's
not a time to sit down and sing 'Kumbaya.' This is not a conversion
day. We believe Jesus is distinctive."
While an Orlando, Fla., pastor offered to take down the cross
in his church to avoid offending visitors taking part in an interfaith
prayer assembly he was hosting, National Day of Prayer Task Force
vice chairman Jim Weidmann defended the annual event from criticism
for its Christian focus, "The Baltimore Sun" said.
"There are fundamental differences between Christian
and non-Christian faiths," he said. "Because there
are fundamental differences in what we believe, there are fundamental
differences in how we pray and worship. In order to stay true
to the integrity of the message and who we are, we hold a Christian
expression of the National Day of Prayer."
- In his proclamation, President Bush said that millions had
been led to prayer since Sept. 11. "We have all seen God's
great faithfulness to our country...In the face of terrorist
attacks, prayer provided Americans with hope and strength for
the journey ahead."
