"And  I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast  rise  up out  of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and  upon  his horns  ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.  And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet  were as  [the feet] of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of  a  lion: and  the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and  great  authority.
The promise to believers is the rapture/ resurrection: "For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether [we be] Jews or Gentiles, whether [we be] bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit." (1 Corinthians 12:13) "But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you." (Romans 8:11)

Speaking of the beast, those who are left behind after the rapture/ resurrection, fall into this category: "And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations." (Revelation 13:1,2,7)
Why does the beast overcome the saints who are lukewarm? "For this people's heart is waxed gross, and [their] ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with [their] eyes, and hear with [their] ears, and should understand with [their] heart, and should be converted, and I [Christ Jesus] should heal them." (Matthew 13:15)

"And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, [but] it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever." (Daniel 2:44)
What most teachers seem to overlook is the fact that the United Nations is the sole instrument at this point which has placed Israel back on the map and is now integrating Israel into becoming partners in the new world order. Prime Minister Natanyahu's credentials include the United Nations. He worked for them before he was elected in Israel.
What is extremely important to believers, especially Jews, that they should not be drawn in by this new major thrust to bring the remaining Jews to Israel. The temptation will be there when everything starts flourishing in Israel. Mark 13:24-27 has God as having a different schedule for gathering His elect to Jerusalem.
"But take ye heed: behold, I have foretold you all things. But in those days, after that tribulation, [at midpoint, 3.5 years into the tribulation] the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, And the stars of heaven shall fall, and the powers that are in heaven shall be shaken [war in heaven]. And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory. And then shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven." (Mark 13:23-27) The greening of the fig tree was not placed into a time frame but is used as a sign that summer is nigh. The harvest is usually not till fall. We are placed under the impression that the return of the Jews is God's doing. Inadvertently it is because He is ultimately in control, but this is not the elect who are returning. Keep these Scriptures in mind when reading what follows.

The book, "The Keys of This Blood" by Malachi Martin is extremely relevant to what has developed in the "Christian" and political arena during the last twenty years and explains why we have the condition described in the book of Amos in the Old Testament prevailing today.
"Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD: And they shall wander from sea to sea, and from the north even to the east, they shall run to and fro to seek the word of the LORD, and shall not find [it]." (Amos 8:11,12) These verses relate to the final signs, that there will be a lack of those who truly have a message from God.
"For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, [are called]:" (1 Corinthians 1:26)

The struggle through 1990 for world dominion between Pope John Paul II, Mikhail Gorbachev, and the Capitalist West is portrayed clearly. Malachi Martin's credentials speak for themselves in the book and are listed at the end of the article. He wrote from a traditional Roman Catholic perspective and explains why Pope John Paul II personally endorsed evolution in 1996 and exposed his ecumenical agenda publicly.
We believe the historical thread of this book is essential background for believers. It helped us understand today's unity in diversity and why it cannot be Biblical.
The leaders who are of the three most primary actors are the Wise Men of the West, Gorbachev and John Paul II, in this period in history. Their focus is that we should not get swallowed up in the apocalypse. Peace at all cost, even though "there is no peace, saith the Lord, unto the wicked" (Isaiah 48:22) Peace is the center piece but it is not really what is driving the apostasy. It is technology [the computer industry] from China which is driving the economy to wealth and prosperity and the price is Christianity.
Not to change the subject, but to add to the significance of Malachi Martin's discussion, we are bringing your attention to the following: It is not only the 50th anniversary of Israel's restoration but also of the beginning of GATT. President Santes of the European Unity, spoke at the 50th anniversary of GATT in Washington D.C. (5.5.98 C-Span). It must have taken a long time to get the U.S. to accept GATT and note: it was spawned the same time the Jews were allowed return to Israel. The meeting was sponsored by the Economic Strategy Institute and the subject was globalization. Mr. Santes said that the Euro (talking about their new money) is an instrument for social changes. We need a reform to a single market and reform labor markets, which involves 19 new guidelines. Britton is proposing a "Common Transatlantic Market." A Council of Ministers make the decisions necessary. Santes stated that Europe cannot be like the United States because of it's cultural differences. They are too deep. The goal is a Federation of Nation States which will have to take member states on of different cultures and run together. They have taken steps to include USSR adding over 400 million people bringing the number of states from 15 to 26 or more. They are building networks of industries. 1. telecommunications, electricity and postal service. 2. environmental new technologies, property rights and higher education and 3. information industry dynamics.
The U.S. must lead the way and reduce the greenhouse effect (use less gasoline, ect.) He said, we need action globally, pool ideas and resources. President Clinton, Prime Minister Blair and President Santes are to become a partnership in the 21st century. President Santes envisions peace only through regionalization of the world.
Vice President Al Gore spoke about Internet and its vast possibilities for wealth and prosperity. He said there were 100 million websites last year which double in number every 100 days. He invited Andrew Grove of the Intell Corporation from Bejing, China to join the meeting via Internet. Mr. Grove brought out the importance of being connected into homes all over the world and its implications where penetration is concerned.
Here comes the "price" of all this knowledge we have acquired. Mr. Grove said that God would have used a new approach to build the Internet. Vice President Gore missed his cue. He was supposed to respond to that worldwide. Mr. Grove went on to explain that the Internet is inadequate for commerce because it is a combination of private people and commercial enterprises. The U.S. has invested the largest amount in the industry by far in comparison with other countries and he is asking the U.S. to start over.
He claims it is a foundation of untold opportunities in health care, export, research interaction and bio technology. He later admitted: at the speed with which users are increasing, we have about 12 years before it becomes obsolete. Internet will not be able to accommodate the demand, even using wireless interaction.
Mr. Grove from Bejing, China, repeated his comment: "God would have created it different.." This time Vice President Gore got the cue: He chuckled and spoke about a gendre problem where God is concerned in the United States. He was most likely alluding to "Mother Earth" who is a "she" in reference to God. The attendees of the Economic Strategy Institute joined the chuckle. Mr. Grove went on to talk about technology which they had just presented to the Chinese government: Chinese language voice recognition with instant translation.
The following information will shed light on why God is not part of the picture anymore although the Gospel disagrees with that. God is in utltimate control. Satan still answers to God but he will have his day for a short while. That is what the world is getting ready for.

"Zion will be restored by Him in due time: "Thus saith the Lord, In an acceptable time have I heard thee, and in a day of salvation have I helped thee: and I will preserve thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, to establish the earth.." (Isaiah 49:8)
In his book, "The Keys of This Blood," (1990) the author, as many others today, combine the United States with United Europe and call it the Western Alliance, Globalist of the West, who represent a system of democratic capitalism, "Golden Internationale" (financial powers of the world). He also calls them the Wise Men of the West. They view the world as their oyster and desire global development and the good life for all by leaping over all barriers of language, race, ideology, creed, color and nationalism. They are developing intergovernmental relationships by breaking down barriers between nations like the "Red Internationale", the Leninist- Marxist Party State of the Soviet Union and believe it or not the Roman Catholic Church, the "Black Internationale" has become a contender.
All three speak of individual freedom and man's liberation from want and hunger; of his natural dignity; of his individual, social and cultural rights; of the good life to which each individual has a fundamental right. Only two operate on a geopolitical level (world-wide level) and only one of them is responsible for the design of the late-twentieth-century version of Lenin's old "Workers' Paradise," Gorbachev and his Communist Party of the World (CPW). A silent revolution will liberate all people from slavery of the meaninglessness of daily life.
Gorbachev said in 1989, "I am a Leninist, devoted to achieving the goals of Leninism and the worldwide Leninist association of all workers under the banner of Marxism." (p.32) The Pope maintains that "such a hope has already revealed itself as a tragic Utopia.. for man is unable to be happy if the transcendent relationship with God is excluded." Thomas Aquinas in his sociocultural model brings the love of God and the love of one's native country into the framework of religious nationalism, the root of Solidarity. Religious nationalism was to become the vehicle for sociocultural freedom.
The attempted assassination of John Paul shocked the world leading to a more prominent position of the Virgin Mary and Fatima massages. With the Queen of Heaven as an icon to pull the people's hearts and minds together, the grand design of the millennium endgame began to emerge with Pope John Paul II as the serene and confident Servant. Although this new agenda carried within it fragmenting of the Church Universal, the Pope's continued emphasis is unity. On October 14, 1978 historical Roman Catholicism was transformed permanently with Vatican II, which brought with it an approximate fifty fifty split among the Cardinals at the Vatican and disillusioned millions of members. The result was many Roman Catholic apostates.
"Everything Must Change!" (p.59) uttered Cardinal Malula of Zaire. The 264th Pope John Paul II was elected. His credentials reached deep into Polish history and its struggle with Communism. He was the first non-Italian Pope in four hundred years.
To put the world at ease with this new Pope, he, John Paul II, declared: "We have no intentions of political interference, nor of interfering in the working out of temporal affairs.. It is not our business to judge the actions of governments." (pp.63,64) This statement turned out to be political. He later became heavily involved in bringing the iron curtain down and many other social issues world-wide.
It wasn't long he found himself involved in affairs of men all over the world and the world was wondering how far he was going to extend his powers. John Paul had dedicated his papacy to the Virgin Mary which became the focus of his entire reign.
"The entire history of man is in fact pervaded by a tremendous struggle against the force of evil in the world.. This Pope desires to commit the Church in a special way to Mary in whom the stupendous and total victory of good over evil, of love over hate, of grace over sin, is achieved.. " he announced. (p.68) He spoke of a new principle of religion: for all Christians, yes, but for all mankind as well. He said that he "He [the Pope] commits the Roman Church to her as the token and principle of all the churches in the world in their universal unity." Such a "universal unity," over which this Roman Pope would obviously claim primacy, clearly implied "an interference in the internal affairs of the USSR whose Russian Orthodox Church belongs to no pope." (p.68)
The assumption was in general that the Pope would want to stamp out Communism which is atheism, but his message would instead address all Christians and all peoples to commit themselves to construct a more just, humane and habitable world, which opens itself to God. His commitment to "universal unity" was preparation of people for a silent revolution to become one.
To show that he was not opposed to anyone, he joined in with crowds and became one with them. He became known for his personal touch. To break the protocol of the Vatican, he invited thirty Shintoists and Marxists on another occasion, as a gesture of breaking down the old traditions of Rome. He personally engaged in activities and literally became part of the people of the world. The reaction of the secular world was confusion.
The Roman Catholic Church fell into disarray and the Pope had made a decision to let the decay happen. To prove that this evidence of rampant decadence was happening, detailed reports were published world wide and no action was taken to repair the damage. Old traditional Catholics were categorized and considered anti the church's agenda. The Vatican over time split down the middle into Left and Right close to fifty, fifty and the Pope in the middle. It is the Holy See of Rome, the head of Christ's Church Universal until time is no more.
Questions loomed of what being Catholic really means. Confusion and pain drove thousands out of the Church. John Paul had given a clear signal that he would become an active competitor on the international scene. He resisted efforts to have him transform the papacy but also refused to exercise authority to arrest the deterioration of his church.
Drawing a lot of attention through his strategy, international money managers, technocrats, humanists, evangelists and politicians came and went soon realizing that the Pope had entered the millennium "endgame." Speculation circled the globe that John Paul would contribute to peace and harmony which would lead to cooperation between two ideologies, Marxism and Christianity.
Poland, his homeland, was one of Pope John Paul's first challenges and because he publicly identified with the people and the cold reality of Polish life, the illusion created by the Communist Party of Poland shattered. His popularity with the people skyrocketed. The Pope who seemed to be unpapal walked off with a redefined power of the people. He had called for a "new order" beginning with Poland which had economic and political implications.
The Pope began to move throughout the world talking to swamis, Animist priests, Buddhists, Muslims, Protestants, Humanists or Anglicans Royal Family in England and showed he wanted to meet them all, talk with them, pray over and with them, bless and be liked by them. Obviously this Pope was turning the papacy inside out. Even though the Pope had no military might he proved to the community of nations the geopolitical power of the Holy See which is inseparable from georeligious power.
John Paul is talking about something beyond moral assessment of individuals. He is talking about structures expanding according to a blueprint guaranteeing mutual interdependence of nations in a global system of economics and governance. He is talking about a need for a binding ethic that must obligate the whole society of nations. Christian believers, crypto-believers, nonreligious believers and positive atheists - even those who have a diehard antireligious attitude and policy - all are prepared to go that far with the Pontiff. The Pope has found most secular leaders to profess a deep respect for the great spiritual values.
In analyzing the globalist pioneers we have four groups. The Wise Men of the West, the oilrich Arab nations, the Asian Tigers (Japan, South Korea and Taiwan) and the Soviet Union together with Cuba, Angola, Ethiopia, Libya and Marxist Benin. Neither Gorbachev nor Leninist internationalism can escape what John Paul has identified as: our universally experienced interdependence which includes the USSR.
To create new morality of nations, a map of shame is to be devised for the end of the second millennium which lists the human horrors and atrocities of the past like the 8 million Irish impoverished, Hitler's final solution to six million Jews, Stalin's murder of millions, etc. and such a map of shame might find the homeless, the refugees and stateless - human throwaways of our new world. Pope John Paul's constant theme is the moral and human unacceptability of this mountain of injustice. Money is not the solution if there is no infrastructure - physical, social, technological, educational.
Many surveys conducted point to inequities in economics. Steeply rising earnings of professional corporate managers contrast shockingly with the condition of millions homeless, hungry fellow citizens. In a morally adjusted economy the rich should not get richer if the poor get poorer. The poor will continue to be herded and dragooned down a tortuous path, increasingly bereft of human dignity, which must surely end in the death of civilization.
The author brings up the differences and similarities between East and West in pointing to "wholesale theft of people's sovereignty over their own nations, their own lives and their own futures" by the West. He goes on to say: "Nations of rich and noble heritage were turned away from the banquet of freedom and development in the West and became the beggarmen of modern history.." (pp.172, 173) On the other hand the only reason the East survived is subsidies from the West. The vast outlay of billions of dollars in foreign aid became a means by which the West and East alike hoped to further their divergent foreign policy interests. The East-West rivalry was global; and funds were meant to buy loyalties, not relieve endemic poverty. (p.179)

In its successful moral domination of the West nations, the East has been aided mightily by something more than its ability to lure its adversary onto its own terrain in the struggle for world domination. Any ill fortune, including natural catastrophes - was blamed on the devilish doings of the West. The most ludicrous and evil-minded recent example was the idea launched by the KGB that the West had deliberately scattered toxic material abroad in order to create the AIDS epidemic, first in Africa and then in the countries of the "socialist fraternity." The syndrome is called "blame-America first." The West has been persuaded and is persuading itself, that all our communal ills - environmental, civil, political, religious - are of its own doing. "Nothing short of a religious and moral conversion of the people of the USSR, accompanied by a similar change in the West, will solve the ever-intensifying geopolitical crisis, and allow the fierce millennium endgame to result in a peace that can be accurately called human - precisely because it will have a divine blessing.

The hall of heroes of the USSR leads to Karl Marx who developed a political ideology in the world and in all recorded history, that is anti-religious and officially based on a belief that everything about human life is material. There is nothing more beyond mankind beyond gross matter. Gorbachev, who was in office when this chapter was written, is thoroughly soaked with the Marxism of Lenin and Lenin was deeply committed to hate capitalism.
To understand Gorbachev one needs to know about Soviet history. Gorbachev is still active in the United States in connection with the United Nations and the head of a think tank in San Francisco in which former US leaders participate. He gives speeches regarding geopolitics and receives standing ovations from Americans.

Karl Marx was born into a Jewish family in Germany, left Judaism to join the Lutheran faith, got involved with confessional Satanism and developed an anti-God and godless outlook. He remained violently opposed to faith and religion for the rest of his life. (p.200)Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel became the backdrop of Marxism, although Marx was an atheist. Hegel died a believing Christian before Marx was fourteen. Hegel saw human history as a process to the fullest expression of human ideals. Hegel had worked out a dialectic of spiritual transcendence by which man was to transcend the material limits of his nature. Spirit inhabited matter, said Hegel and drives mankind on through the successive triple- stage of history to that destiny.

Marx redefined dialectic of material forces which constituted the structure of human society as masses of landless, moneyless, powerless workers and privileged classes have always imposed a superstructure of oppression on the proletarian "structure." In 1848 together with socialist Friedrich Engels, he published "The Communist Manifesto."
In 1850 Charles Darwin published the theory of evolution which was proof to Marx that there was only matter and no kingdom of Heaven. Marx was convinced that control for economic goods shift control and that it was an inner force driving the masses into an eventual revolution. He did agree that matter is eternal. Believing that all religion was trash, his demographical studies proved to have no practical application over time. Marxism did give birth to the most antihuman ideology our world has ever known. It served as a starting point and was incomplete.
Lenin was different from Marx. He was convinced that once he established the "Paradise of the Workers," the struggle would be finished forever and result in a self governing Utopia. Lenin took power in 1917 and his first step to break up the Constituent's Assembly dealt democracy a blow from which it never recovered. His achievement was his creation of the worldwide institutional organization perfectly suited to the geopolitical attainment of his proletarian ideal. He was merciless and ruthless with his opponents and created a Congress of Soviets, dominated by Bolsheviks and led to a Soviet government.
The Big Lie had been born. Lenin had made Party and State identical. He drafted a Soviet constitution which provided for the global seizure of power by armed uprising. "The final and complete victory of the proletariat throughout Russia would be the irresistible signal for the workers of the world to sweep away all capitalists everywhere. Then, by Soviet Law, all government would be abolished and the "Workers' Paradise" would ensue.
The Communist Party would be committed to overthrow of all governments standing in the way of his worldly and worldwide Paradise. He organized the all-powerful Central Committee which had three arms. By the end of 1920, Lenin had in place the beginning of a network covering Western Europe and the Americas which began with single individuals - "moles," which was ultimately to promote the revolution.
Freedom of expression, but the Communist Party and proletariat owed blind obedience to the Central Committee which declared its attitude on doctrinal or practical issues and was in charge. (p.216)
Like Marx, Lenin was guilty of a skewed vision of what the future must be like. He misread from start to finish how free-market economics would actually fare, and how resilient democracy preserves capitalistic nations.
Antonio Gramsci absorbed Lenin's conviction that a force innate in mankind was driving it on toward the "Workers' Paradise." Gramsci recognized that there was a chasm between the proletarian masses and capitalism, there was only social advantage and economic predominance. He realized that Marxist were bucking Christian culture, which pointed unceasingly to something beyond man and outside man's material cosmos. (p.224) Gramsci believed the solution was far more subtle.
Stalin, who had a number of names before he took office, had a chilling side to his character, they called him "devil." At thirty-four, he was considered to be a "Man of Steel." Stalin was driven by perhaps the most grasping and possessive personal ambition of great leaders. He would be master of all nations. Internally, Stalin transformed the society and the economy of the Soviet Union by means of two gigantic processes, which also completed the consolidation of his uncontested power in the USSR: the collectivization of agriculture; and the Stalinist reign of terror. By these policies he eliminates every vestige of private capital.
Only the state could be enriched and would transform the USSR into an agriculturally self-sufficient and industrially advanced world power. Stalin simply ridded himself of prosperous private- enterprise farmers by way of cattle cars, shipping four million landowners to Siberian detention camps and quick, merciless execution. Ukrainians met the same fate, estimates are between 25 and 35 million who died from his policy of terror.
Lenin's plan was geopolitical, it was to encompass Europe. With the rise of Adolf Hitler, Stalin's opportunity came. In an effort to liberate himself from the Versailles Treaty (1918), Hitler defied the mandate and Stalin used the opportunity to set him up for a fall through a bilateral nonaggressive pact. This pact opened the door to World War II. (p.239)
Americans as saviors turned out to be a mixed blessing for Stalin. They saved his hide by supplying England, France and the USSR with military equipment and food and their enormous military effort. They were particularly obliging by allowing Russia to participate in the liberation of Poland and European nations and allowing them to occupy half of Germany which allowed Communism to spread in Europe.
In the 1990s it was proven that Antonio Gramsci had the vision which was most practical and successful interpretation of Marxism. He founded the Italian Communist Party and had rejected Christianity and all its claims and later moved to the USSR. A key element of Gramsci's blueprint for the global victory of Marxism rested on Hegel's distinction between what was "inner" or "Immanent" to man.
What man held to be outside and above him and his world - a superior force transcending the limitations of individuals and of groups, both large and small. Gramsci insisted that the inner man needed to be Marxized by dangling the utopia of the "Workers' Paradise" in front of the workers and the transition would take place without bloodshed. The idea of capitalism and capitalists would be eliminated. A classless society would come into existence.
Lenin's geopolitical structure would be used to conquer the mind of society and the first order of business was to change the outward face of the Communist Party by changing the slogans to "national consensus", "national unity" and "national pacification." They would have to engage in the normally accepted democratic processes, forging alliances and defend pluralism.
Marxists must join with women, the poor and oppressed, civil, cultural and political activities in every nation and must patiently penetrate. The superstructure "Christianity" in all its forms, activities and expressions would have to be eliminated. Marxization of politics of life itself will then follow. All classes will be one class. All minds will be proletarian minds and the earthly paradise will be achieved.
"The entire field of play was webbed with the intricacies of "provocation", "penetration", "fabrication", "diversion", "clandestine work", deadly "wet affairs", "direct action", and by a "combination" of all those tactics and more. The actual response in the capitalist West would have boggled Gramsci's mind. By the time Stalin died in 1953, Euro Communism was an irreversible fact of life.
Although the world wide Roman Catholic Church was the oldest enemy of Marxism - it became the most useful tool of all for the Gramscian penetration of Western Culture. Within a scant three months of his election, Pope John XXIII stunned his Catholic hierarchy and the entire world with the announcement that he would convene the 21st ecumenical council in the 2000 year history of the Catholic Church, The Second Vatican Council in 1962-65. (p.256)
In 1960 the reigning Pope wanted to consecrate the Soviet Union to the protection of the Virgin Mary but decided it was an inappropriate time. Vatican II produced religious liberty declaring the principle that everyone should be free from any constraint in religious matters, including the choice and practice of whatever religion one might care to select, which seems to mean that anyone could be saved from hell fire. The traditional view of ecumenism was reorganized to include Muslims, Jews, Buddhist, Shintoist, Animist and a host of other non-Christian and even nonreligious groups. Pope Paul VI spoke at the close of Vatican II that their church had decided to opt for man; to serve man, to help him build his home on earth.
Gramsci's dream began to take shape. De-Catholization of the Roman Catholic hierarchy, clergy and faithful had begun. Secularist heresies swept through the majority of mainline Protestant churches. The focus of the Catholic Church became the poor (working class) "preferential option for the poor" calling for deep political alliances with socialists and Communists.
Liberation Theology flooded Latin America. Jesuits, Dominicans, Franciscans, Mary Knollers committed to it, Europe and the United States were also swept up by it. Abortion and contraception were declared human rights. The pro-Soviet World Council of Churches provided a hotbed for Christian - Marxist dialogues. Being a conservative, Pope John Paul II tried to turn the tide because he knew it was Gramsci Marxism that was being spread but it was too late. He supported the theory of evolution after this book was written.
Throughout the West "unity" into one great society became the focus of entrepreneurs, academicians, politicians, artists, media people, industrialists, scientists and all involved in the social mainstream, not to forget the religious community.
Catholicism took the place of Roman Catholicism. "Open the windows" to the world in search for its renewal, while Marxist leaders are in brotherly dialogue and in common humanitarian ventures in pursuit of liberating Christians from material inconveniences and construct the Leninist-Marxist-Gramsci Utopia. The spirit of Vatican II, the child of Gramsci's ghost: a completely secularized society, has been the wife and wet nurse for it and is called a force that binds the global unity. (p.267)
MiKhail Gorbachev entered the scene and has fully embraced the Gramscian formula he envisioning a new governmental structure which is required by the Gramscian pattern.
In the absence of strife (war) there would be no have-nots or "outsiders" among nations and a widespread yearning for international peace and material development occurred by the end of the 70s. Pope John Paul II and Gorbachev took center stage to perfect globalism and the New World Order.
The author classified the various religions and movements on the globe and places the Pope's geopolitics into the non-Christian category. He claims that much effort has gone into collaboration into organizing human beings into a faceless mass of undifferentiated peoples. Mega-religionists, one such group, see religion as a necessity for peace which the Buddhist wheel exemplifies with its six spokes. The spokes represent Buddhism, Hinduism, Islam, Judaism, Confusicianism and Christianity. It is displayed in such places as Mother Teresa's principal house in Calcutta and in New York's Cathedral of St John the Divine.
Close collaboration of the Pontifical (Roman Catholic) Commission for Justice and Peace with foreign policy aims of the Soviet Union was institutionalized on the day the Commission cooperated with the World Council of Churches itself an instrument of Soviet policy since 1966. It was to establish a joint Committee on Society, Development and Peace (SODEPAX) in 1968. All religions were considered equivalent and the word "church" was redefined. It encompasses people of any faith and of no faith at all. [Is it any wonder that Scientologists got their way in calling themselves a church.] This new genuine ecumenism was to enlarge their "interfaith" meetings and "ecumenical" activities to include such ideas as would promote their adopted anti-capitalist and anti- Western themes of Soviet Foreign Policy.
In 1931, the New Age movement was founded by Japan's Meishu Sama's revelation complete with detailed instructions, plans for the New Age of mankind. Sama said the light of the New Age would come and be introduced by land and sea catastrophes - "negative vibrations" - he called them. These events would purify our present age supervised by a "Maitraya" or Messiah endowed with superhuman wisdom and psychic abilities and establish the "Global Village." New Agers have advantage in that it is not based on materialism. They believe there is no reality beyond this world and man is an animal evolving on an upward curve.
In spite of their lack of organization their indoctrination is taking place at all levels of religion and culture. One half billion advocates are working around various religious groups - via selftraining techniques - running the gamut from laborers to genius, from youth to senior citizens. They simply borrow all the words from Christianity, etc.., melt them down like so many gold chalices, crosses and pour them into the mold of their New Age globalism. (p.309) They present Lucifer as the angel of experience and agent of love and move people into a Luciferic Initiation. The aim is for everyone to act like God, because they are God.

"Liberties" claimed in the name of NEW Age - abortion on demand, contraception, divorce, homosexual marriages and lifestyles, test tube babies.. New Agers inadvertently pave the way for conditions Marxism has been unable to create.
Genuine globalists consist of two groups, politicians and money men. Both groups belong to Darwinist's ethic: "Survival of the Fittest". What they teach is: the greater the interdependence, the greater the common good. The trend is now international trade, financial security within the system and a need for global leadership. The European Economic Community is by prior standards the most ambitious enterprise on the horizon. They are eliminating border controls to encourage movement of goods and people among 350 million possibly 700 million people, which calls for a new systems approach.
For some years an effort has been under way undertaken by Informatik, a Moscow-based educational organization in conjunction with the Carnegie Endowment Fund to create a global uniform education. (p.332)
Genuine globalist are Wise Men of the West seemed to have superhuman abilities [considering the industrial revolution] and have the most influence in shaping our near future. Anything that will upset the balance of trade, finance and physical security is a threat to the world as a whole. Everyone must cooperate or everyone will suffer. Consumers are seen as slaves to possessions and immediate gratification with no other horizon than continual multiplication and continual replacement of things already owned with other still better. While the politicians believe the world to be one family and wish the eliminate barriers of selfish, introverted nationalism.
The evidence is clear as religions and moral "bias" is erased from our lives, the individual is shifted away from everything that was once identified with God and His laws. It must also shift away from individual's regard for family [instituted by God] and from the entire ethical consensus.
The global well-being is bound to lead to a completely new horizon for all men and women. An earth which will be dominated by a new international bureaucracy to direct and control every citizen and every nation "for the good of all."
This book was written in 1990 and today 1998 we have the perfect example God gives in Scripture. Israel will represent a stumbling stone to the world. Romans 9:33 "As it is written, Behold, I lay in Zion a stumblingstone and rock of offense: and whosoever believeth on Him shall not be ashamed." The Prime Minister of Israel Netanyahu refuses to bow to the Wise Men of the West or so he says. He has developed a strategy that will place the responsibility with the Clinton administration when to give Arafat more land. Don't forget this is about finances and investments, not about the God of Israel. They use the Bible as a tool to get their way.

According to Gramsci's Marxism, political differences will have to be diminished and eliminated and a form of global homogenization will be coming about. Old truths and symbols have to go. The present mass indoctrination of Disney's Tree of Life [a major Christian concept] is being neutralized by a fifteen foot tree made up of animals. There is also a shift going on in democracy. [Example in Colorado when special rights for homosexuals was turned down by the people's vote, the State of Colorado took the case before the supreme court and the vote of the people was overturned].
Exalted mentalities are secularism, realism, hard-headed practicality, materialism, this-worldliness, neo-paganism, godlessness, apostasy and even satanism. The motto is: "Let experience be your guide, your only guide." The result is that God is being stripped of His fatherhood of all men, of His loving salvation of all men and His infinite desire to be with men and have His glory eventually glorify us.
New Agers configure God as each one of us. They believe they are being processed into Gods cemented together in humanness. Christianity has nothing to contribute to this system. Gorbachev's message of secularism which is called "new thinking" is their assurance that we are not condemned to suffer in the future from indignity, inequality, want of necessities of life, injustice and early death. He is the living guarantee that together we can humanize it all.
The word "geopolitical" is a parallel in the Gospel to the teaching that there is no difference between Jews and Greeks, slave and freeman, etc.. and that Christ is in all of us, that differences have been transcended by a new unity- a blueprint of a new society of peoples and nations undivided by nationalism, racial origin, cultural diversity, wealth or poverty, politics or religions. In fact Pope Paul claims that it is the plan that Apostle Paul announced as God's plan for all men. Obviously this Scripture used out of context, twisted and misinterpreted. Paul was talking about Heaven not earth.
According to the author, Pope John Paul II is the spiritual head of a worldwide corpus of believers (all mankind) but also the chief executive of a sovereign state that is a recognized member of our late 20th century society of states with a political goal and structure? Yes, with a geopolitical goal and structure. In the final analysis John Paul II does claim to be the Vicar of Christ, the ultimate court of judgment on the society of states as a society. He teaches that all mankind will be saved. We believe that all will be resurrected into eternal life (different meaning) and divided into Heaven and hell. The resurrection of all human beings began with Christ Jesus and ends at the end of the thousand year millennium.
On page 377 the author states that Gorbachev's motto is to reduce all men's expectations of any salvation from on high and promise all men liberation by means of a heightened human experience. Instruct them that all hope of progress lies within themselves. Gramsci encouraged Communists to join the West and its materialism and become members of the global home Americans are building [supposedly] liberating all men from slavery and the meaninglessness of daily life and let the entire effort be for man's sake to fill his belly and his mind.
In 1985 the U.S. under President Reagan and General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party, Mikhail Gorbachev held their first summit in Geneva, Switzerland. General agreements exchanging scientific, technical education and other fields were drawn up and agreed upon. All phases of education, arts and sharing were dealt with. The content of all curriculum in Russia and U.S. would become identical resulting in a merger of populations of the U.S. and the Soviet Union.
The process of the Wise Men was already over forty years old. Gorbachev astonished many when he said: "surely God on high has not refused to give us wisdom enough to find ways to bring us an improvement in our relations" and later set himself equal to Christ by this remark: "Jesus Christ alone knew answers to all questions, and he knew how to feed 20,000 Jews [should be 5,000 (Mark 8:19)] with 5 loaves of bread. If God and the Politburo are well disposed to me, I will find the answers." (p.416)
Considering that Gorbachev was raised under Lenin who said in 1917: "We must be engineers of souls to reconstruct a new socialist humanity," and Gorbachev's family were considered to be Christians, it is hard to discover where his heart is. Most believe that he rejected the Bible when he entered the Communist Party which is atheistic and renounced Christianity. He has called for a new mechanism for furtherance of the world economy, a new structure of the international Division of Labor and interests through a consensus in the movement of the New World Order. He warned "without the United Nations, world politics is inconceivable." With ultimate truth a thing of the past, capitalists and Marxists don't need to give up their convictions.
In one single hour Gorbachev became the embodiment of a hope and a warning that the only alternative to the hope he held out to them all was the merciless [killing] of Abel by Cain, which exemplifies the struggle between good and evil. Even the Pope submitted to Gorbachev and gave his blessing to ten Christians and eight Soviets discussing the possibility of Christians and Marxists building a new Europe together, which included religious freedom. (p.439)

Pope John Paul II met briefly with Gorbachev, who had said just days before, publicly, that he is a Communist, a convinced Communist. "For some that may be fantasy, but for me it is my main goal. We [Marxists] do not conceal our attitude toward the religious mind. We look down on it as deficient because it is non- materialistic and unscientific."
The Pope on the other hand stated earlier "No political system and no ideology built on materialistic concept of man and human life can do anything more than plunge man into deepest misery and send him into darkest exile from his true destiny." [The Nazi Regime is an example]. Lenin's famous quotes were not discussed. "Religion is a kind of spiritual gin in which slaves of capital drown their human shape and their claims to decent human life" or "the only idol we permit and maintain is godlessness".
Offering religion in his geopolitical struggle for the lead position in the New World Order, the Pope offers the Archangel Michael, whose name Mikhail Gorbachev holds, as the great protector of Gorbachev under the Pope's Virgin of Tenderness. The final solution of the world's difficulty would be effected through the intervention of the Queen of Heaven.
The new architecture is shaped like an egg. In the yolk is the capstone which is unified Germany and the West (U.S.). The egg white the USSR and its satellites which embraces 800 million people. Mr. Baker called it the 2+4 framework: the 4 = U.S., Britain, France and USSR. The 2 representing east and west Germany.
"We need to restructure the Party's internal apparatus, greater Democracy within the Party, and national election reform within the Party," "no Party has a monopoly over what is right," said Gorbachev in Lithuania. They took him up on it and wanted to disconnect from the Communist Party and he spent three days cajoling, threatening and arguing to stop trying and with the help of the KGB got them to submit.
In Moscow 250,000 Russian Democrats marched denouncing the Communist Party. In confronting the Central Committee of the Communist Party, Gorbachev announced "The Soviet Communist Party intends to struggle for the status of the ruling party by giving up any legal and political advantages within the framework of the Democratic process." Pluralism was in. (p.475) There is a trend in the U.S. for a third party.

The Pope who was Karol Wojtyla before he became pope, is a Melchizedek priest, even though there is only one in the Bible who holds that office now and it is Jesus Christ. With a Polish pedigree the Pope is the product of Polish history. The Virgin Mary was their chosen icon of hope [when there is only "one" name under heaven and it is Jesus Christ to those who want to be saved]. The author takes us through Polish history to show that their vertical pillar of faith was their survival as a people. In fact Poles believe that their consecration of the whole nation of Poland in voluntary servitude, for the sake of the world, to Mary is what kept Poland from becoming extinct.
This consecration was brought about over a ten year period. Mary was granted special sinlessness by unique grace and celebrated with popular processions in which reproductions of the holy icon were carried from city to town to village until 1966 when all of Poland was lead in one final repetition of that vow [to the Queen of Heaven]. A million people gathered and cried out: "Queen of Poland, we promise!"
"Marxizing" elements became evident in the preliminaries of the Second Vatican Council. Usual statements condemning Soviet Union's Leninist Marxism were deleted from Vatican II. The "Deal" between Khrushchev and Pope John XXIII entailed a grave decision. It soon became evident that Mary have "universal" significance which was incorporated into the draft of Vatican II. The traditional Roman Catholic point of view was replaced by a new standpoint, which had more to do with modern, particularly American, concepts of Democracy and people's power. Ambiguity resulted, which put many off guard.
The three secrets of Fatima called for a worldwide dedication to servitude to Mary and on November 21, 1964, Mary was proclaimed as Mother of the Church and has since become a geopolitical element in Christian salvation. (p.592)

With Vatican II bold signs of traditional Catholic social changes began to take place. The churchly organization is a "kingdom" or "monarchy", with a hierarchical structure and a single authoritative head. The pope delegates to bishops, preserving tradition, symbols and the sublimation of all social as well as personal ideals to the views of the "kingdom"; inequality and subordination of all members of the "kingdom". The laity is subject to the clergy. Women were excluded from the priesthood and only within the "kingdom" and the "kingdom's" ministrations could divine salvation be achieved: "Outside the church, there is no salvation" according to Catholic traditions.
The new anti-Church is described as the "people of God", the people as the source of power and legitimacy and authorizers of all faith standards; of all religious order; of all laws including what is sinful and what prayers are to be said. Equals with equal rights, majority votes, no distinction between men and women, pluralistic, without restrictions on sexual expression. It is about people seeking greater homogenization with an assimilation to the generality of mankind, without any trace of the old "missionizing" and "converting" syndrome - and no more Latin sermons.
The "people of God" proposed a thorough democratization of all religion. [Notice God calls his bride the people of God which is based on One God, One Son and One Holy Ghost who are One God] Another major change: The Petrine Keys of authority must be relinquished as outmoded. It is irreconcilable with democratization of religion and the bill of human rights. (p.606)
The papal office came under fire in the thirteen hundredth and the men who challenged the Pope, were called humanist which included the Lodge, the Cabalists and all who did not agree with the papal interpretation of Scripture. They were called devotees to the great force. (p.520) The Pope claimed that this type of enlightened mind cannot be reconciled with Christianity because it excludes sin.
Unity of faith was to be forged with other religions as equals in possession of truth. Religion should become the handmaiden of men's efforts to create a one world order.
The attempted murder on Pope John Paul's life turned his attention to Mary as the geopolitical hope for Poland and out of his intimacy with Mary in prayer came his only supernatural vision of things to come. It was a repetition of the 64 year old Fatima vision. "The voice of Lucia.. was heard: "Look up at the sun!" The sun appeared to be spinning, casting off beams of colored lights that tinted everything around them. Called the "dance of the sun", it lasted a few minutes, then it trembled, pulsated, rotated and suddenly plunged in zigzag fashion toward earth. "We will all die!" screamed someone in the audience. The spinning ceased. There were three parts to the vision. The third part was not published and was not to be revealed until 1960. Officially it still remains secret. Written down it rests in a box and one of the first things Pope John Paul did was to read it and decide it was not relevant to his day.
The third secret covers chastisement of the nations, involving catastrophes, man-made or natural, on land, on water and in the atmosphere of the globe. A spiritual chastisement, far more frightening and distressing - especially for Roman Catholics - than physical hardship, since it would consist of the disappearance of religious belief, a period of widespread unfaith in many countries. The whole dire process could be averted if the Pope were to consecrate Russia to Mary. Although 2500 Roman Catholic bishops assembled in 1962 and had a perfect opportunity they did not do it. (p.631)
The Pope's own Vatican chancery were in the hands of the anti- Church partisans and heresy and grave error resided in the seminaries. Pope John Paul II alluded to "the smoke of Satan which had entered the Sanctuary." The geopolitical change implied by the "Third Secret" was not far off. Russia was its focal point and was to be the main agent of change. The Pope is waiting for an event that fission human history, splitting the immediate past from the oncoming future. It will involve our sun, which will be seen as the circumambient glory of the Woman whom the Apostle describes as "clothed with the sun" and giving birth to "a child who will rule the nations with a scepter of iron."
The Pope established himself among ninety-two nations across five continents as a world leader and became an acknowledged and accepted contender in the competition in spite of declining Roman Catholic Church which was honeycombed with heresy, schism, sexual immorality, greed, pride, wholesale lapse in belief and practice and corruption in the major religious order of men and women. The Pope's concentration was exclusively geopolitical on human affairs. No attempt to restore inner unity was made.
In 1990 opportunity came for the Pope globally when representatives and spokesmen for the most potent globalist currents relating to finance, politics, government, the media and telecommunications came to Davos in Switzerland to participate in an annual congress of the World Economic Forum. The assembly included seventy government ministers. People like Helmut Kohl, Foreign Ministers, prime ministers, Presidents, Chancellors from all parts of the globe participated. The Federal Reserve's Wayne Angell; World Bank head and also finance minister of West Germany's Bundesbank, many more, even officials of GATT were represented along with industrialists from the United States.
Gorbachev came to power a few years after Pope John Paul II and his influence could be felt at Davos. Leaders from the East Europe and Soviet satellites were well represented and the suggestion was that the USSR should be considered for membership and Europeanizers accepted the idea. The master player had "liberated" the Eastern European satellites, liquidated the Berlin Wall, allowed local Communist Parties to declare themselves independent of Moscow's Communist Party - even to change their names and stop calling themselves Communists. A powerful new block of twenty- five European nations (some 500 million people) emerged at Davos.
Mikhail Gorbachev's vision had led to this integration into the European community. Everyone admitted that this European community, the leading socioeconomic force - the critical mass - will be a reunified Germany. Helmut Kohl stated soundly, the new Europe must have as its goal the grand vision expressed by Thomas Jefferson: "Life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness."
In Helsinki soon after lines were worked out for the integration of the USSR into the "greater European space." Nobody ever believed that Mikhail Gorbachev had ceased or would ever cease to cherish and promote his own Grand Design, the Leninist-Marxist plan. (p.650)
The Grand Designs of his two fellow contenders are built, as he stated to the United Nations Assembly, on "certain premises which reduce the meaning of life to the many material and economic factors - demands of production, the market, consumption, accumulation of riches, and to the demands of the growing bureaucracy with which an attempt is made to regulate these very processes." "Sensitivity to the spiritual dimension of human existence is diminished to a greater or a lesser extent."
Pope John Paul II said that Europe's culture is in crisis and its common values are slipping into the oblivion of past history. Europe is no longer the Faith, and the Faith is no longer Europe. The God of Christians is not affirmed, adored and cultivated. The planned Europe is godless and religionless.
The hope was that Pope John Paul II would attempt to revive Catholicism in Europe but instead he launched his papal career in a totally different direction. It finally dawned on all that he had become a geopolitician-pope. Mary was still his centerpiece in a vow of servitude to Mary. "At last, the powers of the West have oriented their minds and energies toward the East - if only now they acknowledged the role of Mary!"
The Pope is convinced that the design is going to fail since it is based on the presumption that we are the authors of our destiny. Man is exalted. The God-Man is repudiated; and with him, the idea of man's fallenness is rejected. Behind the godless and un- Christian design stands man as a Nietschean figure, a Superman. A culture loses its very heart, which is observance of God's laws.
Like Judas believed he could negotiate Jesus' future by bargaining with His enemies, so the Catholic Church is compromising from the Vatican chancery down to the level of parish life by gravely debilitating the entire Roman Catholic institutional organization.
Four key areas in Roman Catholicism have been changed: the Eucharist, the oneness and trueness of the Roman Catholic Church, the Petrine Office of the Bishop of Rome and the morality of human reproductive activity. The traditional Roman Mass was removed, and a new form known as the Norvos Ordo or Conciliar Mass, was substituted for it by order of Pope Paul VI, on March 26, 1970. By 1974, this Novus Ordo, in vernacular translations, had been spread by decree all over the Church Universal. It does not always result in a valid Mass which results in the overall lack of sacramental reverence for the Eucharist among the clergy and laity. The Roman Mass was a "vertical" act of worship. The Novus Ordo is strictly "horizontal."
The anti-Church is proposing the priestly ordination of women, the use of altar girls, Eucharistic ministers, male and female, instead of the priests. The total result of these changes have been confusion and continued fractioning, dividing, doubting and desertion of the practice of a sacramental life.
Since the Second Council of Vatican II membership to the Roman Catholic Church is not essential for salvation, there are many equivalent roads to Heaven - non-Catholic and non-Christian; that everyone must be granted a moral and religious equivalence as regards to the attainment of eternal salvation; even without the benefit of the sacrifice that Jesus made of His life. In other words there are other saviors - Buddha, Mohammed, Abraham, Martin Luther King, etc. "we are all sons of God and brothers in the human family, so we all set out on "our common pilgrimage," nobody claiming to be solely right and nobody declared to be wrong.
The Second Vatican Council documents declare that the "people of God" includes the Roman Catholic Church but also many, many others who are not and will never be Roman Catholic. Confusion among the faithful is enormous. The document on religious liberty condemns any attempt to force anybody to adopt a religious belief against his will. A "national Catholic Church" is slowly emerging to solve local problems and liquidation of absolute papal control over moral discipline in the Church is taking place.
Statistics over contraception, abortion, homosexuality, premarital sexuality and modern techniques dealing with reproduction assure us that a great majority of Catholics simply do not accept Roman Catholic teachings on these issues.
In summary we find two Popes, Paul VI and John Paul II, did not exercise their supreme teaching privilege and authority in order to prevent the birth of the "spirit of Vatican II" and did not make an effort to counteract it.
The shudder that will shake the Roman Catholic body in that day, will be the shudder of its death agony. For its pains will be from within itself, orchestrated by its leaders and its members. No outside enemy will have brought this about. Many will accept the new regime. Many will resist. All will be fragmented.
Malachi Martin is considered to be an expert on the Catholic Church. He was trained in theology at Louvain, where he received his doctorate in Semitic Languages, Archaeology and Oriental History. He subsequently studied at Oxford and at Hebrew University in Jerusalem. From 1958 to 1964 he served in Rome, where he was a close associate of the renowned Jesuit cardinal Augustin Bea and Pope John XXIII. As a former professor at the Vatican's Pontifical Biblical Institute, Malachi Martin published this book in 1990. The Keys of This Blood is a Touchstone Book, published by Simon and Schuster.
