Senator Jesse Helms, Republican, and twenty
other colleagues, including Senator Bob Graham and
Senator Lott, introduced a bill today (C-Span 2
Washington D.C. - 5.15.98) called the "Cuban
Solidarity Act" which will administer $100 million
American Tax Dollars to the Roman Catholic Church,
led by Pope John Paul II, for distribution to the
faithful poor in Cuba in form of free food and medicine
to strengthen the position of the Pope's Catholic Church
in Communistic Cuba. Distribution is to be over
a period of four years. Senator Graham stated that the
Pope's visit to Cuba was a turning point in history
for Cuba and offers a range of opportunities
for an open Cuba and will strengthen the Catholic Church.
The Senators want to support the President's
softened policy toward Cuba.

A. Rudin thanked Cardinal Cassidy from the Vatican for
his presence and the historic document "Shoa"
from Pope John Paul II. "Shoa", the new name
for holocaust, is the document which describes, where the
blame must be put for the holocaust. It was not to the satisfaction
of the Jewish Committee members, but the document
was considered to be a start and an achievement after
several years of negotiations. It represents solidarity
between one billion Catholics and Jews. It brings to a close
1000 years of anti- Semitism by Christian churches
and expectations are for all to be reconciled in the new
millennium. Rabbi Rudin said with pride that a Hanukkah
was lit inside the Vatican in the presence
of Cardinal Cassidy and that the Jews were committed
to Catholics to work out their differences. Cardinal Cassidy's
presentation included their whole ecumenical agenda to include
all religions, including Muslims, as we explained in our
article. The Pope stated in his document that the roots
of anti- Semitism which caused the holocaust were
people of anti- Jewish, pagan, secular and non-Christian
beliefs. The Jews did not agree with
that. They include Christians because they remained
quiet. They want abundant Christian repentance, taught by
the Pope to his billion members and education to the effect that
a holocaust will never happen again. Catholic Church leaders
said that they are interested in the delegation of all
human rights. Might that be why our Constitution needs
to be amended? The word "Shoa" means tribal enemy
of Israel and all the Chaldeans, Pekod see Ezekiel 23:23.
To strip the global community of anti-Semitism, the Bible
will have to become obsolete. There is really no
way around it. Read it and you'll understand why.

of Sciences just released a new guidebook for teachers,
school administrators, parents, and policy
makers, insisting that evolution should be
taught as fact to all students, and taught much more
aggressively than ever before. A 100- page document doesn't just
push teaching of evolution as absolute fact: it
is blatantly anti- Christian in philosophy.
After reading this document, one would get the impression
that only fools would believe the Bible as conservative
Christians do!.. |
