life, and few there be that find it." (Matthew
7:14) The Apostle Paul wrote in Romans 4:5 "But to
him that worketh not, but believeth on Him that justifieth
the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness." "For

but not before God. For what saith the Scripture? Abraham
believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness."
"For they being ignorant of God's righteousness,
have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness
of God." (Romans 10:2,3)
"I acknowledged my sin unto thee, and mine iniquity have
I not hid. I said, I will confess my transgression unto the
Lord; and thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin. Selah"
(Psalm 32:5)
"My sheep hear my voice and I know them, and they follow
me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish,
neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand." (John 10:27,28) "In whom ye also trusted,
after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation:
whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with the
Holy Spirit of promise, which is the earnest of our inheritance
until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise
of His glory." (Ephesians 1:13,14) "My
Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is
able to pluck them out of my Father's hand." (John
10:29)

I hope this states in no uncertain terms that Peter was not the
ROCK Jesus was identifying in Matthew 16:18. Note: 1 Corinthians
10:4 "And they did all drink the same spiritual drink: for
they drank of that spiritual ROCK that followed them: and that
Rock was Christ."
In closing: "Enter into the ROCK, and hide thee in the dust,
for fear of the Lord, and for the glory of His majesty. The lofty
looks of man shall be humbled, and the haughtiness of men shall
be bowed down, and the Lord alone shall be exalted in
that day. For the day of the Lord of hosts shall be upon every
one that is proud and lofty, and upon every one that is lifted
up and he shall be brought low." (Isaiah
2:10-12)
