Project Vatican

To: r421@earthlink.net Subject: "Project Vatican"

This e-mail is to inform you of a very disturbing website. The site is http://projectv.nventure.com and this is how it came to be sent to me.

I recently sent the address of Jack Chick's website to a Roman Catholic couple (I knew them both personally before they moved to the east coast) with whom I have regular e-mail contact. As you probably know, Mr. Chick's site details the Catholic connection to Biblical end-times prophesy.

(I have a list of probably ten websites that contain information such as the type posted on your site and Mr. Chick's site, but I didn't want to "bombard" this couple right away. Thankfully, they have now asked for more information, and I'll send them the other websites.)

Two weeks later they replied with this message:

"Yes, Vicki and I have seen these tracts many times, but were previously unaware of his other materials. After reading his Catholic postings, we were alarmed, to say the least. I have to admit that my delay in responding to your email was not mere procrastination. You would have to have been raised in the Catholic Church to know how this information has effected us. There is a lot more I want to write to you on the subject, but frankly, we both feel like we just stepped off a very fast-moving merry-go-round - i.e., we're still trying to recover."

[I must delete this portion as it concerns their personal lives and has nothing to do with the reason I am writing to you. M's message continues:]

"We have a good deal of research to do, as we can neither ignore this information, or leave the Church based on the writings found at one web site. (Feel free to send any more info you have on this subject.) We'll be sending plenty of messages in the near future, regardless of our findings. But until then I want to share this web site with you. Vicki found this on a message board or newsgroup somewhere, before you ever sent the link to the Jack Chick site. To be honest, we thought nothing of it. I know that's hard to believe, in light of your opinions of the Catholic Church, but we read it and at the time thought "hmm... whatever." But when we were reading the Jack Chick stuff about the Church, Vicki said, "It's like that black and blue Vatican site" then she took me to the site and I remembered what she was talking about. It's http://projectv.nventure.com and at this point I don't know what to make of it any more than the Jack Chick material. But, knowing your views on the Catholic Church, I think you're going to find this interesting, to say the least. Take care, and we'll be writing again soon.
Love in Christ, M & V"

"Interesting, to say the least"??? It gave me stomach cramps. You have to see this to know what I mean. It's called Project Vatican.
