Psalm 9:9-12 God humbles Himself to behold The things that are in the heavens and in the earth (Psalm 113:6) He Who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy , dwells in the high and holy place, with him who has a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, And to revive the heart of the contrite ones (Isaiah 57:15). The humble He guides in justice, And the humble He teaches His way (Psalm 25:9). He lifts up the humble but He casts the wicked down to the ground (Psalm 147:6) He takes pleasure in His people and He will beautify the humble with salvation (Psalm 149:4). He scorns the scornful, But gives grace to the humble (Proverbs 3:34). He resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble (James 4:6). And God’s word is unchanging: And the LORD spoke to Manasseh and his people, but they would not listen. Therefore the LORD brought upon them the captains of the army of the king of Assyria, who took Manasseh with hooks, bound him with bronze fetters, and carried him off to Babylon. Now when he was in affliction, he implored the LORD his God, and humbled himself greatly before the God of his fathers, and prayed to Him; and He received his entreaty, heard his supplication, and brought him back to Jerusalem into his kingdom. Then Manasseh knew that the LORD was God. 2 Chronicles 33:10-13 "And whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted. Matthew 23:12 Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross. Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Philippians 2:5-11 Those who humble themselves under the mighty hand of God, He will exalt them in due time (1 Peter 5:6) for God loves and hears the cry of the humble. His word is true: Those who go down to the sea in ships, Who do business on great waters, They see the works of the LORD, And His wonders in the deep. For He commands and raises the stormy wind, Which lifts up the waves of the sea. They mount up to the heavens, They go down again to the depths; Their soul melts because of trouble. They reel to and fro, and stagger like a drunken man, And are at their wits' end. Then they cry out to the LORD in their trouble, And He brings them out of their distresses. He calms the storm, So that its waves are still. Then they are glad because they are quiet; So He guides them to their desired haven. Psalm 107:23-30 Now the true Church of Jesus Christ is supposed to be the head and not the tail and provide answers to the people of the world in the time of economic judgment just like Apostle Paul stated to his companions on a ship that was in the middle of a huge tempest: "And now I urge you to take heart, for there will be no loss of life among you, but only of the ship. "For there stood by me this night an angel of the God to whom I belong and whom I serve, "saying, 'Do not be afraid, Paul; you must be brought before Caesar; and indeed God has granted you all those who sail with you.' "Therefore take heart, men, for I believe God that it will be just as it was told me. Acts 27:22-25 And what do we have today instead? We have false prophets spewing out that by giving money into their ministries we shall be delivered, or some other nonsense. It's obvious that none of so called Christian Churches have the answer to the financial bankruptcy of many nations including USA. Yes the church as a whole as it stands now is bankrupt. The liturgical state churches with homosexuality, and even the blessing of same-sex marriages, as well as other flagrant sins in the ranks of congregation and leadership is a joke!
The fundamentalist churches who have rejected the Holy Spirit years ago are dead and the after rocking along for years showing small numerical increases in membership, the Southern Baptist Convention finally has reported a loss. The Charismatic congregations are demonized because of flirtations with pagan practices, new age crap and the irresponsible displays of human silliness. We know that AOG and PAOC for all purposes are almost dead and have gone into Apostasy. And the NAR and Revival Alliance are just tools of the devil especially with their doctrine of demons of “Wealth Transfer” which doesn’t even work for them as they are constantly beginning money!
The Large mega churches, with foolish Joel Osteen preaching prosperity and everything is going to be all right while things are going to hell, don’t have the answers. And we have Third Wave programs that trick and entice the young using loud music are only witchcraft! And many Evangelical, Charismatic, Pentecostal pastors think they are God and can play God with people and their lives. Yes they are really hypocritical and deceived and off the wall.
It’s time for people just to turn to God and Jesus Christ and ask for more of the Holy Spirit and His work including conviction? Otherwise they will go to hell in a roller coaster plagued by a sea of woe and problems. The only way that seems to catch their attention is when the money stops coming in. However, there is no repentance and if they get more money as the result of immoral preachers, they will continue to preach another Gospel (Gal. 1: 8) and continue to enjoy the wrath of God (Rom. 2: 8 – 9). Until we all learn that we are bankrupt in the Lord’s eyes, He cannot use us. That is what repentance is about. That is what Jesus was say in the Beatitudes, “Blessed are the poor in Spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of God” (Matt. 5: 3). There are two words for poor in Greek. One means to be poor but you have enough to struggle through. The other word, which is used here, means to be absolutely bankrupt in the Holy Spirit or in other words to recognize that you do not have the Holy Spirit in any way in your life, completely destitute of the Holy Spirit. Well, when these churches and ministries stop listening to the Holy Spirit and do not honestly follow the Scriptures, they cause themselves to be bankrupt and listen to other spirits, evil spirits/demons for their direction, they bankrupt themselves. Interestingly, James writes, “For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive anything of the Lord. A double-minded man is unstable in all his ways” (Jas. 1: 6 – 8). Actually, the Greek text here actually reads, “a double spirited man” is unstable in all his ways. This is what is going on in these churches. When they stop using or prevent the Holy Spirit from doing His work through the Gifts of the Holy Spirit, they successfully stop God’s grace from being ministered in their churches. They shut their ears to the voice of the Holy Spirit (Rev. 2: 7). They listen to other spirits/demons whom they mis-identify as the Holy Spirit. They break the New Covenant by replacing it with other teachings which are “doctrines of demons” (1 Cor. 4: 1). They think that they can serve God and mammon (Matt. 6: 24). Worse than that, they are ignoring the Prime Commandment which says, “Thou shalt have no other gods before (or besides) me” (Ex. 20: 3). I had a pastor call me yesterday because in our Newsletter I pointed out that the devil is not our worst nightmare. In fact, it is Jesus who removes “your lamp stand from its place, unless you repent” (Rev. 2” 5) which means that He closes down churches, like Ephesus, which He did. He also warns the church Pergamamum, “Repent then. If not, I will come to you soon and war against them with the sword of my mouth” (Rev. 2: 16). Financial bankruptcy is proof of their Spiritual Bankruptcy. Praise the Lord! That God does bring His judgment upon such ministries.
