Can A Christian Have a Demon In Their Body Parts? "God Comes Through When
House Church Believer Prays for Major Healing" by Jim Rutz, WorldNetDaily The CASE referred to, <<<"He carried a tiny vial
of olive oil, and he would use a dab of it to anoint people for healing as he
prayed. Nothing fancy, no yelling or theatrics. But often he would sense that
some kind of demonic entity had taken up residence in a person's lungs or
joints or other point of illness, so he would quietly order it to leave in
order to clear the way for the healing.">>> There is nowhere in the scriptures that
shows the disciples casting demons out of the bodies of Christians nor is it
taught that a demon can take up residence in a Christians body. The healing
of this person happened because of the mercy and grace of God, not because a
Demon in the body blocked God from healing this person. The Article by Opal Reddin Central Bible College in Springfield,
Missouri. Opal went home to be with Jesus. Here in part is what Opal has
to say on the subject: Dr. Reddin: What does the Word teach
regarding Christians and deliverance? In practically exhaustive
research of the terms for "deliverance" I found not a single Scripture speaking of delivering believers from
evil spirits. The fact is that if we are saved, we have been
delivered! Here are some of the main Scriptures describing our condition:
"He (the Father) has delivered us
from the power of darkness and translated us into the kingdom
of the Son of His love, in Whom we have redemption through His blood, the
forgiveness of sins." (Colossians 1:13-14). " Note the past tense of the verbs: the deliverance
from evil power and the translation to the kingdom are a fact! "Redemption"
is one of the the synonyms of "deliverance." Jesus redeemed you by His blood, and Satan has no
claim on you any more. If you are a Christian, you are
"in
Christ." And "if anyone is in Christ,
he is a new creation, old things have passed away; behond all things have
become new" (2 Cor. 5:17) Are we to rewrite this verse and say we
are still in bondage to the old things? When you were born again, you were
made part of the Body fo Christ. "for by one
individually" (1 Cor. 12:13a,27). Does the Body of Christ have
demons in it?
Do you now know that is unthinkable?
Be assured, when a demon can invade Christ, then and only then can a
demon come into one who is in Christ It will never be! What About: Spirit/Soul/Body? Some say, "I agree with you that my
spirit cannot be inhabited by a demon, but my body, or my soul (my mind, my emotions, my
will) could have
a demon somewhere inside. " Let us examine this. First,
"he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit
with Him". (1 Cor. 6:17). Second, the believer's soul is in Christ; you have received "the end of your faith-the
salvation of your souls" (1Peter 1:9); believers are "of one heart and one soul". (Acts 4:32); also, we
have the mind of Christ (1 Cor. 2:16). Third, the believers's body is
in Christ. "Do you now know that your bodies are members of Christ?" and "your body is the
temple of the Holy Spirit." (1 Cor. 6:15.19). Do you
think He will allow a demon to enter His temple? The prayer of Paul is that
our "whole
spirit and soul and body be preserved ["kept" in NIV] blameless" (1 Thess. 5:23). The whole person is either "in
Christ" or "outside
Christ." Christ is not divided! Blind Boy Sees the Light
Ujesh was surrounded by reasons that he
should not be blind. He had grown up in a village in Jammu & Kashmir,
India, where thousands of pilgrims came to worship a goddess revered in his
religion-a goddess believed to provide blessings and contentment. Beyond this, his father, Sojin, was a
government doctor with many friends in the profession. When Ujesh lost his
sight at the age of 15, many of these doctors did their best to help him, but
it was fruitless. Ujesh had little hope until, one day, a
young man told his father about Gospel for Asia missionary Khamal. When Sojin
brought Khamal to his home, however, a conflict sprung up. "We do not want Christian prayer in
our home!" Ujesh's mother and siblings shouted. But Sojin had listened
to Khamal's message and believed in Jesus. He started faithfully attending
Khamal's church services. Soon, Ujesh joined his father in going to
church. But at the beginning, he scoffed at the Christians' service. Still
blind, he only went to please his father. But Sojin's faith in Christ was strong
and real. He kept praying and believing, and the Lord miraculously restored
Ujesh's eyesight even before the young man believed in Him. The miracle
literally opened Ujesh's eyes, and he finally saw that Jesus was the one true
God. Pastor Khamal asks for prayer for Ujesh,
who is now enrolled in a GFA Bible college. Pray also that the rest of his
family will decide to follow Jesus.
