Part 1 We've all been puns in this conspiracy
at one time or another it is so complex and so sophisticated
and the men who have put this together are directed by that super
intelligent Lucifer. .. I'm going to start with a number of quotes from people who pretend to be Christians from whom we know are occultists all putting Sir Francis Bacon and another Rosicrucian, Robert Fludd on the translation committee of the King James Version. I want to start with Dennis Cuddy, the author of, "Now is the Dawning of the New Age New World Order" and here is what Dennis Cuddy says, these disciples Robert Fludd was the chief proponent of Rosicrucian?s in England. He's talking about John Dee, a major occultist. Fludd along with Sir Francis Bacon were commissioned by King James 1st to produce an English translation of the Holy Bible. Dennis Cuddy has claimed he got his information for this statement from Manly P. Hall.
Next I'm going to quote Manly P. Hall who wrote in, "The Secret Teachings of All Ages," "it was in recognition of Bacon's intelligential accomplishment that King James turned over to him the translator?s manuscripts of what is known as the King James Bible for the presumable purpose of checking, editing and revising them. The documents remained in his hands for nearly a year but no information is to be had concerning what happened: what occurred in that time.
Regarding this work William T. Smedley writes, "It will eventually be proven that the whole scheme of the Authorized Version of the Bible was Francis Bacon. The first edition of the King James Bible contains a cryptic draconian headpiece. If Bacon cryptically conceal in the Bible that which he dared not reveal in the literal text: the secret Rosicrucian key to a mystic and Masonic Christianity. That was Manly T. Hall. Next I'm going to cite Michael Baigent and Richard Lee who write in "Freemasonry the Geometry of the Sacred," in England the chief exponent of Rosicrucian thought was John Dee's disciple. Robert Fludd, who along with Francis Bacon was among concleave of scholars commissioned by King James to produce an English translation of the Bible. Almost word for word what Dennis Cutty said above so it looks like Dennis Cutty really got his information from Michael Baigent and Richard Leigh who also were the authors of, "Holy Blood, Holy Grail,"
Next, we're going to go to Lawrence Gardiner and he's the author of "Bloodline of the Holy Grail." Gardner wrote, "Under James 6th and the1st, Stewart, Bacon became Attorney General and Lord Chancellor. Among Bacon's colleagues was the noted Oxford physician and Theological Philosopher Robert Fludd, who assisted with the English translation of the King James Authorized Version of the Bible. He doesn't mention that Robert Fludd was also a Grand Master of the Priory of Sion. I'll get into that in a little while. Gardiner makes the claim that Bacon became the Attorney General and Lord Chancellor of Great Britain under King James. Now this is not true. Alfred Dodd and numerous sources state in Francis Bacon's personal life story, King James first Parliament that when a new Attorney General had to be chosen Francis Bacon expected that Doughertage, who was then the Solicitor General would be moved to the Attorneyship leaving the Solicitor?s place vacant for himself. To Francis Bacon's dismay William Cecil raised a favorite of his through Henry Hobart, an obscure Attorney to the court of wards over Doughterage's head as well as over the just claims of Francis Bacon to the high place of Attorney General. Francis Bacon never held any high office under King James, the King of England.
Manly P. Hall in the previous quote stated that William T. Smedley was the one that said it will eventually be proven that the whole scheme of the Authorized Version of the KJV Bible was Francis Bacon. I want to read the whole quote by William Smedley and he wrote in his book, "The Mystery of Francis Bacon," he was an occultist like all these others. He wrote, "There are some nine or ten Theological works by the former and two sermons by the latter. He's referring to the actual translators of the King James Version and what he's going to say is that these translators were not qualified literary scholars to produce a work of the caliber of the King James.
Listen to what he says next, this is William T. Smedley's reasoning for why the fifty four translators of the King James Version could not have produced such an inspired work. He doesn't use the word inspired but he says, "unless the spirit of a special divine inspiration for the occasion be admitted it is clear that neither Bill Stin or Miles Smith they were translators, "would have given the final touches to the Bible and now a curious statement has come down to us. In 1609 the translators handed their work to the King and in 1610 he returned it to them completed. James, meaning King James was incapable of writing anything to which the term beautiful could be applied. What had happened to the translators work while it was left in his hands?"
Here we see that William T. Smedley, upon whom Manly T. Hall bases his statements and presumably who Michael Baigent and Lawrence Gardiner and Dennis Cuddy all base on William T. Smedley who says, 'unless the theory of a special divine inspiration for the occasion be admitted, anotherwards, they are denying the Divine inspiration of the word of God. They figured some man had to be responsible for the marvelous linguistic and literary work of the King James Version. He goes on to say that it had to be Francis Bacon because he was the only writer of that caliber during that period of history. What I want to do is give a little bit of historical background because in order to understand the whole issue of Francis Bacon and King James and their relationship and what was going on with the Rosicrucian?s we have to understand the period in which King James was living. In order to understand that period in which Francis Yates and they all called the Rosicrucian Enlightenment we have to understand the history of the Rosicrucian?s.
The Rosicrucian?s were the order of the Rosy Cross or the Rosecruix and their high cabal was the Priory de Sion in France. The Rosicrucian?s date all the way back to the First Century A.D. to a monastic society that was founded in Alexandria, Egypt by the Alexandrian Jews of the Therapeutae and the Essenes which were monastic communities. These were apostate Jews living in Alexandria instead of Israel and the symbol of this society of Ormus. Also the symbol of the Theraputi was the Rose Cross,
I'm going to quote from Holy Blood, Holy Grail, "according to Masonic tradition in AD 46 Ormesius is said to have conferred on his newly constituted order," Ormesius was an Alexandrian pagan monk. Michael Baigent and his authors are stating in Holy Blood, Holy Grail that Ormesius is said to have constituted on his newly instituted order of initiates a specific identifying symbol. A red or a Rose Cross. In the Priory documents one is intended to see in Ormesius the origin of the so-called Rose Croux or Rosicrucian. Let me just follow this line of Ormesius which relocated from Alexandria, Egypt, to Calbria, Italy, in the Fifth Century. In 1070 AD this group of Calbrian monks relocated to France to the domain of Godfrey of Boulion who was the first Grand Master of the Order of Sion. In 1095 the Knights of the Order de Sion was sent to conquer Jerusalem, to re-conquer the Holy Land for the Pope who of course was in the hand of the Merovingian families who funded the Crusades. Here we see this society of Ormus and this Order de Sion and this Order de Sion created the Knights of the Order of the Temple of Solomon in 1118 AD.
This was after they conquered Jerusalem and nine Knights were left in Jerusalem supposedly to guard the way of Pilgrims there but really they were doing excavation there and preparing, making a lot of alterations for the Merovingian?s to reclaim Jerusalem for the Jews.
The Order of Sion became the Priory de Sion at about that point in history. The Crusades over a few hundred years failed to accomplish their purpose which was to regain the Holy Land for the Merovingian Jews. The Knights Templar of the Order of Zion fell into disfavor with the Pope and they were basically in the process of taking over Europe. They formed an international banking system and they were occult elite and basically a criminal element in Europe. In 1307 there was a mass execution of the Knights Templar in Europe. There was a contingent of the Knights Templar who fled to Scotland and from there they came to the New World. We're tracing the Rosicrucian?s from their very beginning in Alexandria, Egypt to the time when King James was King of England. We last were talking about the purge of the Templars in 1307 but about ten years prior to this there was in Scotland a rebellion going on under William Wallace and Robert the Bruce. These Merovingian?s were preparing for the Knights Templar to escape to Scotland.
There's a lot of evidence that the mass execution of the Knights Templars was actually a down sizing and that the Priory of Sion realized that the Templars had to be relocated they were encountering too much opposition in Europe to accomplish what they wanted to do. The Crusades failed and they needed to develop another plan, Plan B. That was going to be accomplished in Scotland and eventually in England.
I'm going to read from 'The Temple and the Lodge' what was going on in Scotland at the time. Robert the Bruce was the Monarch at the time, was intent on something much more. Something much more radical and much more ambitious that just thwarting English domination. There had been continual war between Scotland and England up to this point. The English Monarchs believed that Scotland, there were many warring tribes in Scotland, they couldn't rule themselves. They were a warlike people at that point in history and they needed to be controlled. Here is Robert the Bruce and he wanted to thwart English domination and continuing with the Temple and the Lodge what he thought was nothing less than a restoration of a uniquely Celtic kingdom with specifically Celtic Institutions. These may even have included ritual human sacrifice." This is Temple and the Lodge saying this, Michael Beigant and Richard Leigh.
King Edward embarked on a systematic campaign to eradicate all vestiges, those political and religious of the Celtic Kindgom. He goes on to talk about the Stone of Stone and the Stone of Destiny which King Edward descrated. The Scots were involved in much witchcraft. Druidry was the State religion. King Edward was intent on bringing all of this under his control and under his rule and doing away with the pagan Celtic Kingdom that they intended to create in Scotland In 1314 the Scottish rebellion occured. In 1297 and 1314 the Scots under William Wallace and Robert the Bruce finally defeated the English in the Battle of Bannockburn with the help of the Knights Templars. Remember by this time there was a large number of Knights Templars that had escaped from Europe, the purge was going on there and they were there and they were there to help the Scottish Merovingian's to overcome the English Crown.
I'm still quoting from the 'Temple and the Lodge'. "The established Roman Church may have betrayed the Templars, but in Scotland they found something much more trustworthy and tangible, a sacred Royal House and a priest King of the Celtic Church succession. The Knights Templar became a part of the Scottish government as the appointed Royal bodyguard with the Order established as the guardian of the King of the Scots by day and by night. A new order was then formed called the Elder Brothers, the Order of the Rosy Cross. Many historians have presumed therefore, that that Knights Templars must have been disbanded in Scotland but this was not the case. It was simply that Bruce contrived the secret order to become even more secretive. Indeed the Order of the Knights of the Rosy Cross was a very successful cover.
The significance of the Rosy Cross of the
Rosicrucian order was the red bloodline, the Merovingian Bloodline.
This is what the Rosicrucian Order stands for. The Merovingian
bloodline that is conspiring to take over not only Great Britain
but the entire world and
I'm going to skip over two centuries to King James came to the throne in Tudor, England. 1547 King Edward 6th who was a Tudor and the son of King Henry 8th became King of England. We all know King Henry 8th broke with the Catholic Church. His children were to sit on his throne after his death. Edward 6th appears to have been a Christian, can't tell for sure but he was poisoned to death. In 1553, about six years later, Mary Tudor, the daughter became Queen of England. She was known as Bloody Mary. She was a Roman Catholic. You have to realize there was a tremendous ferment going on in England at this time when Henry 8th broke with the Roman Catholic Church and England was basically divided. Many came over to the Protestant cause but there were many who held onto the Roman Catholic faith so it was a time of tremendous discord and a time when England could have gone either way but God had a plan for England and we'll see that unfold.
Bloody Mary did not stay on the throne. She was executed and in 1558, Elizabeth Tudor, who was the half sister of Mary, I believe her mother was Annbelin and Mary Tudor's mother was Catherine of Aerogon. Remember Henry had seven or eight wives. Elizabeth Tudor became the Queen of England and she resided over what was effectively a revival of the occult traditions in England. What was happening in England was the equivalent of what was going on in Italy in the Italian Renaissance centuries previous to this and it was called the Elizabethan Renaissance.
In 1566 James Stewart was born at Eginberg Castle in Scotland. He was a cousin of Elizabeth Tudor. He was both a Stewart and a Tudor. James father was Henry Stewart, Lord Darnly; He was murdered shortly after James was born. His mother was Mary, Queen of Scots. She was also Roman Catholic and she was forced to abdicate by her cousin, Queen Elizabeth and she was imprisoned in England by Elizabeth. These were troublesome times. Tremendous wars going on between the Roman Catholics and the Protestants. From what I can tell Mary, Queen of Scots was involved in plots with the Catholic Church to assassinate Queen Elizabeth and for this reason she was imprisoned. She spent something like nineteen years in the Tower in London and she was finally executed in 1587.
Kelly: Do you know anything about the conspiracy that was playing both sides of the Protestant and the Catholics creating chaos and people going into the Protestant faith under false leaders. Barbara: Yes, the dialectic was being played out in a big way. The Priory of Sion after the dissolution of the Templars the Priory of Zion remained in tact over there in Paris. We firmly believe the Priory of Sion was directing all of this, it?s a very hidden secret society, it hasn't come out into the open until very recently but of course this is the high cabal, They are Learned Elders of Sion of the 33rd degree and they are always involved in playing off the gentiles against one another. That's what was going on here. I'll get into more of that later.
James never did know his mother. He was made King of England when he was something like three months old but he didn?t begin to rule till 1585. In 1585 James 5th began to rule Scotland. He was a very popular King in Scotland except with the Druids, the occultists. King James was having to deal with this druidic element, This pagan Kingdom that operated on pagan principles. We read about the ritual murder that was part of their religion and James was having to deal with these occultists as King and they were a criminal element.
In 1597 King James published a book, He wrote several books. He was a very excellent writer. This book was called The Daemonologie, Tomorrow I'm going to read excerpts from this book which show that he had a good understanding of Scripture but how these occult societies operated and how they drew his subjects into their vile net of Satanism and how they tormented his subjects. He wrote this book called The Daemonologie to instruct the subjects in occultism so that they would know to beware of it and not to be drawn into that snare. This King had the heart of a father for his subjects and he was also a very stable and mature Christian and when we read some of his works tomorrow this will be apparent. Today I just want to lay the foundation and go through the historical background and we'll see James in a little while in opposition to these societies, the Rosicrucian?s, who were his mortal enemies and how they tried everything that they could to kill him and discredit him.
In 1603 Queen Elizabeth of England died. She was not married and had no children and James was her nearest relative and he was called to become the King of England and Scotland. It was under James that Scotland and Ireland and England were united into Great Britain. James had no sooner become King when he was approached by the Puritans. In England there were factions among the Christians, the religious. There was not only the Catholic Protestant rivalry going on within Protestantism there was these contentions going on and King James was approached by the Puritans for a new translation of the Bible. The Elizabethan Tudor had established the Anglican Church with herself as the head of it but it still contained a lot of Roman Catholism. The Puritans wanted to totally break with Roman Catholism and have a new translation of the Bible. They felt the Bishops Bible that was used contained corruptions. In England it was also required that the Prayer Book be used in the services and they wanted to dispense with all of this.
These were not easy times and it's not easy to define the lines of opposition to one another. There were many factions vying for preeminence and Christians in those days were like today, what do you do? Where do you go? Who do you trust? If you lived in England you were either Puritian or Church of England. There wasn't a real great choice. Here's King James come on the throne and he's approached right away for a new translation of the Bible. I'm going to read from the preface, "For the very historical truth is that upon the inportinent petitions of the Puritans at His Majesty coming to this crown the conference at Hampton Court having been appointed for hearing their complaints when by force of reason they were put from other grounds they had recourse at the last to this shift they could not with good conscious subscribe to the Communion Book since it maintained the Bible as it was there translated which was as they said a most corrupted translation". So the Hampton Court conference was held in order to hear of things that were pretended to be a myth in the Church.
At this conference, Dr. John Reynolds, a Puritan, requested of the King a new translation of the Bible because those things that were allowed during the reigns of Henry 8th and Edward 6th were corrupt and by July of 1604 the King had appointed 54 men to the translation committee." That was in 1604. In 1605 there was a plot to kill King James called the gunpowder plot? Guy Faux and a group of Rosicrucian?s tried to blow up the houses of Parliament.
This plot has been blamed on the Roman Catholics but I have my doubts because I believe when the Rosicrucian?s began to see what was going on with King James they had to do something. Elizabeth seems to have been a friend of the Rosicrucian?s. I'm going to go on with the publication of the Authorized King James Version which took place in 1611. In 1613 King James married Queen Ann of Denmark and they had something like nine children but only three children lived to adulthood. King James was grooming his son Prince Henry to be the King after him but Henry died before he could become heir to the throne.
About the time Prince Henry died 1613, King James married his daughter Elizabeth Stewart to Frederick who was the Count Palentine of the Rhine. Frederick was from an area in southern Germany, from an area called the Palentine, or Germany. This was a very strategic marriage for the Rosicrucian?s.
I just want to continue with this chronology and in the second half of the hour I 'm going to deal with the Rosicrucian?s and King James together. King James lived till 1925 and after his death he was succeeded by his son Charles 1st and after that was the protectorate, the current protectorate under Oliver Cromwell. Charles1st had a lot of trouble trying to hold back the Rosicrucian?s from carrying out their plans. King James being the mighty man of God that he was stood firm against the Rosicrucian?s during his reign.
In 1613 Elizabeth Stewart was married to Frederick. He was the leader of German Protestantism. This marriage was seen as an alliance to strengthen the Protestant cause. You have to realize what was going on with Protestantism over there on the continent. It had been infiltrated by the Rosicrucian?s. This is what they do. They infiltrate everything and take it over and then use people to accomplish their agenda and in the meantime their working both sides of the dialectic against each other.
After the wedding Frederick and Elizabeth left London and returned to Heidelberg, Germany. Frederick then became associated with the Protestant league and this of course had been infiltrated by the Rosicrucian?s. The Rosicrucian?s intended to use Frederick and the alliance he had with Great Britain through the daughter of King James, to deceive the Hapsburg dynasty in Europe. The Royal House of Hapsburgs were allied to the Roman Catholic Church. Here you have Merovingian?s on both sides of the dialectic. The Roman Catholics and the Protestants creating a situation of war. In 1617, four years after the marriage between Frederick and Elizabeth Stewart the nobles of the Kingdom of Bohemia offered Frederick the Crown. Bohemia is now what is Czechoslovakia. Bohemia was a hotbed of occultism at the time all of the alchemist and Kabbalists, it's kind of like what San Francisco is to the United States. Everybody who is a free thinker and an occultist, and homosexual gravitated towards Bohemia.
Kelly: You think that's why the Lucifierns named their resort in the hills of California Bohemian Grove.. Barbara: Absolutely. Kelly: Someone sent me the Bloodlines of the Illuminati and had the page marked that had King James listed as a Stewart, a linage of the Illuminati. He was a bloodline of the Stewart and Tudor. That should discredit King James but just because they had the bloodline doesn't mean that they were part of the conspiracy.
Barbara: Yes, but it's going to become very apparent that King James was not involved in any way. In the second hour I'm going to proceed to prove it.
I was talking about Bohemia. Seventeenth century Prague in Bohemian was a center for alchemical, astrological, magical, scientific studies of all kinds and according to Francis Yates, a Mecca for those interested in esoteric and scientific studies from all over Europe. In 1619 the Bohemian nobles defiantly offered the Crown to Frederick 5th, the elector Palentine of the Rhine who was married to Elizabeth Stewart. Frederick 5th was an intellectual and a mystic. He was also a Calvinist; The Rosicrucian?s were hoping to advance the English Renaissance throughout Europe.
If they could control Bohemia. If they could wrest Bohemia from the Hapsburg dynasty they would be able to advance the English Renaissance. What had gone on in England under Elizabeth Tudor was basically a Renaissance under Elizabeth and they wanted to carry this over to Europe because they had been kicked out of Europe by the Pope in 1307 in league with King Phillip of France.
This was there grand opportunity to revive the occult traditions in Europe and Frederick accepted their proposal for the crown of Bohemia. His acceptance precipitated what is known as the thirty years war. Frederick needed England?s support to overthrow the Hapsburg's sovereign and he didn't receive it. King James opposed his alliance with the Rosicrucian?s. He opposed this whole enterprise throughout the whole period of their attempt. This was very unexpected. The Rosicrucian?s believe because Frederick had married Elizabeth that James would automatically have to support this takeover of Bohemia and eventually Europe. James I believe saw what this was all about and there was evidence he was appalled his son in law would try to usurp the throne of another sovereign.
James was also no friend of the occult societies. While he was the King of Scotland he tried the druids, who were a criminal element, He tried them and put some of them to death. We?re going to get into more of that in a minute. He disapproved of what Frederick and Elizabeth had done and his neutrality allowed the Catholic Habsburg armies to defeat the Rosicrucian?s that were behind this enterprise in Bohemia. James was not Catholic; he was not on the Catholic side necessarily. He had been forced, you see, this is what the dialectic does, you have to choose between two evils and James very deceptively, very discerningly saw what was going on and refused to play into the hands of the Rosicrucian?s.
As we get into this I think we will begin to appreciate the magnitude of what this King did because had he supported his son in law and his daughter all of Europe would have come under the Rosicrucian?s way back then in the 1600's. It's just unthinkable but God was not going to allow it and I believe he raised up this King at that time for that purpose.
Frederick and Elizabeth were driven out of Bohemia by the Hapsburg armies who drove them out of Bohemia and they took refuge in The Hague in Holland and the thirty year war followed. The Rosicrucian conspirators were no match for the Hapsburg armies. They fled back to England and there they organized the secret societies and open societies they called Christian Unions. These Christian Unions were ruled by occult academia called the Invisible College. Under the reign of King James these occultists had to keep a low profile because he was wise to their ways and their plans and he wasn't going to give them an inch.
All of this is tied in with the Priory of Sion in France and John Valentin Andrea would become the Grand Master of Priory of Sion and he and his German colleagues were involved in creating these Christian Unions in England and their purpose was to preserve the Rosicrucian doctrine and to eventually export it abroad. They couldn't be as blatant as they planned to be in Europe.
I want to read some portions from history. Francis Yates history of the Rosicrucian enlightenment. Francis Yates was a reader for the University of London. She's a respected historian. She's an authority on this Rosicrucian period. She was very sympathetic to the Rosicrucian movement but she gives a very dispassionate presentation of the events of that period and how King James figured into all of this. Because she is such a respected historian I have used her material for years. She doesn't have an agenda to promote King James as one way or the other she seems to simply report the facts about King James. Facts that are supported by other sources as well.
I'm going to read her version of the Bohemian takeover and King James part in it. She states, "Here we reach the heart of this great tragedy of misunderstanding. For James was not supporting his daughter and her husband. Even now he was working for the other side when this print was published disowning all responsibility for his son in laws Bohemia enterprise in every court in Europe. Not only had no military preparations been made in Europe for the support of this enterprise but James diplomacy was working against it, disowning it, counteracting it making every effort to incur favor with the Hapsburgs powers". Then she goes on to say, "James attitude of course immeasurably weakened Frederick's position and caused his other friends to doubt him. It had been assumed James would support his daughter when the time of trial came. She was the hostage ensuring her fathers good will but when the time came it was revealed that James was perfectly willing to desert his daughter rather than incurring the Hapsburg's anger". King James was no friend of the Hapsburg's either. He was clearly a strong Protestant. He makes that clear in his writings which we're going to read from tomorrow and if the Rosicrucian?s believe that James was going to align himself with the Hapsburgs they never would have pulled this stunt. I don't believe he was really working for the other side. He did not go to war to take England into any wars against a foreign power. He was a peacemaker and I believe that he also saw what was going on with the Rosicrucian?s trying to carry their occult traditions back to Europe and he was going to put a stop to it. She goes on to talk about Frederick and his wife who were exiled to The Hague. This was a failed Renaissance.
Then she goes on to talk about Francis Bacon. "Francis Bacon during all of this time of the Rosicrucian enterprise was in Bohemia. He was madly publishing his works in Bohemia thinking they would be brought over into Europe". Bacon I believe was probably a confident of Queen Elizabeth but James would have nothing to do with Francis Bacon. Francis Bacon wrote 'The Advancement of Learning,' The Rosicrucian?s tried to pass this off as meaning the Arts and Sciences but Bacon's 'Advancement of Learning,' Yates states, "was really illumination. Light descending from the father of light, that the Brotherhood in learning which he desires would be a fraternity in learning an illumination,"
Of course occult Illumination is received from Lucifer. She goes on to talk about Bacon's involvement in the Qabala and the Hermetic traditions that he was involved in with Robert Fludd and all of the Grand Masters of the Priory of Sion, the Rosicrucian?s of that time, Francis Bacon was himself a high level Rosicrucian and he was promoting the occult arts and sciences.
Bacon attempted to deceive and advance himself under King James and I'm going to read a portion from Francis Yates again, a rather long portion but as I'm reading this I want the reader to think, would King James have entrusted this man as a translator or editor of the Authorized Version of 1611. "The Advancement of Learning by Francis Bacon was published in 1605, the Nova Orgonom, which Bacon wrote in Latin to facilitate it's diffusion in Europe which he regarded as the most important statement of his philosophy and program was published in 1620. The De Augumentas, the Latin translation and revision of the Advancement of it was published in 1623. Thus the draconian philosophy begun to appear several years before the first Rosicrucian Manifesto. It's major statement was published in the era of destiny. The era of refrain in Bohemia of the winter King and Queen," meaning Frederick and Elizabeth. "It is important to realize that the Rosicrucian movement is contemporary with the draconian philosophy that the strange Rosicrucian excitements were going on in Europe during the years in which the works of Bacon were appearing in England. There are I believe undoubtedly connections between the two movements though these are difficult to trace and analyze. The reign of the daughter of the King of Great Britain in the Parliament made communications easy between England and that part of Germany and led to an influx of English influences amongst which should be included an influence from Bacon and his Advancement.
We know both Frederick and Elizabeth were readers and interested in intellectual movements. They were therefore likely to have had works by Bacon with them at Heidelberg. We know that in later life Elizabeth was interested in the works of Bacon. It will suffice to say that the Anglican movement in the Palentine state and surrounding Protestant states at the time when so much was hoped for from King James would have included an interest in the great philosopher of the Jacobian Age, Francis Bacon."
She goes on to say how circumspect Bacon had to be around King James however. Bacon's avoidance of mathematical science and William Gilberts Theory of Magnatism might have been due to a desire to keep his program as free as possible from implications of magic. He had been heavily suspected as a magician and a conjurer. Gilbert was obviously influenced by Giorgano Bruno; Bacon may have been evading what seemed to him dangerous subjects in order to protect his program from witch hunters, from the cry of sorcery. In thinking about Bacons attitude to science and his way of advocating scientific advancement we are always to remember the character and outlook of the monarch whom Bacon had to try to propitiate and to interest in his program for The Advancement of Learning. In this he was not successful as D.H. Wilson has pointed out. "James did not understand or appreciate Bacon's great plan nor did he respond with any offer to help with Bacon's projects for scientific institutions. When he was sent the Nova Orgonan in 1620 King James was heard to remark that this work was like the piece of God which passed all understanding." This of course is a play on words meaning that the piece that Bacon had written had passed all understanding. When you read these occult works it's like a foreign language. You have to be able to read code to understand these things that are given to them by their master Lucifer. Here we see that James wanted nothing to do with Francis Bacon.
Francis Yates goes on, "It has never been suggested that James doubtful attitude towards Draconian science might be connected to his deep interest in and dread of magic and witchcraft. These subjects had a fascination for him which was tied up with neurosis with some experience in his early life. In his 'Demonology', James advocated the death penalty for all witches though he urged care in the examination of cases. The subject was for him a most serious one, a branch of theology. Obviously James was not the right person to examine the always rather difficult problem of when Renaissance, magic and Qabala were valuable movements leading to science and when they verged on sorcery. The problem of defining the difference between good magic and bad magic.
James was not interested in science and would react in fear towards any sort of magic. John Dee was a Qabalist that preceded Francis Bacon and was more or less Francis Bacons mentor. I'm continuing to quote Francis Yates. "It is not surprising that when old John Dee appealed to James for help clearing his reputation from charges of conjuring devils James would have nothing to do with him. This fruitless appeal to James was made in June 1604." The old man who's learning the Elizabethan Age was so infinitely indebted was disgraced in the reign of James and died in great poverty in 1608. Bacon must have taken good note of James attitude towards Dee and he must also have noted that survivors from the Elizabethan age of mathematics and magic were not sure of encouragement under James as they had been under Elizabeth, nor Thurbelen or Raleigh, talking about Sir Walter Raleigh, who pursued their studies in prison in the tower under James. working at mathematics and alchemy with their learned associate, Tomas Harriet,
Obviously Bacon would have been careful to avoid in works intended to interest James, anything savoring of Dee and his suspicious mathematics. Even so Bacon did not succeed in allying James suspicions of scientific advancement however carefully presented. And even more obviously it was not the way to influence James in favor of his son in laws plans and projects in the Palentine State and Bohemia to associate him with a movement which warped it's designs in enchanted vaults and invisible Rose Cross brothers who could easily be turned into sorcerers by witch hunters. If any rumor of them came to James ears and any rumor of them being associated with Frederick this would certainly have done more than anything else to turn him against Frederick and to destroy any hope that he would countenance his projects."
It goes on to say that James would have nothing to do with Dee's 'Monas hieroglyphica' and Bacon when he published the 'Advancement of Learning' in 1605 would have been aware that James had repulsed Dee in the preceding year. Francis Bacon had to walk on eggshells with King James because his discernment was so great about the occult and his ever watchful gaze. His fatherly instincts over his subjects and also his devotion to the Lord Jesus Christ and his relationship to God would have alerted him to any foul play going on and so he's the one that these occultists are trying to say was enlisted by King James to either translate or edit the Authorized Version and here we see very plain evidence that James would have nothing to do with Francis Bacon.
We're also going to find out that James would also not have selected Robert Fludd. He's the other one that they say James brought in to help translate the Authorized Version. Before I get to Robert Fludd I want to say a little bit about Sir Walter Raleigh. Sir Walter Raleigh was imprisoned and put to death for treason against the crown by King James. There is evidence that Sir Walter Raleigh was connected with the Rosicrucian?s and especially with the Priory of Sion. I'm reading from an article on the Mysteries of Renlatica Tow and the Priory of Sion by Steve Misrac. He links certain individuals with the Priory of Sion, VIcter Hugo who was a Grand Master, Jon Contau who was also a Grand Master of the Priory de Sion. He also links J.R. Tolkien and CS Lewis with the Priory of Sion. This is a Rosicrucian writer. He also links Isaac Asimov, Jules Vern, George Mc Donald and Umberto Echo with the Priory of Sion. He then states, "Sir Walter Raleigh, who was long thought to be involved in an esoteric body known as the school of the night may have also been part of the Order of Sion. That would be the Learned Elders of the 33rd Degree of Sion over there in France.
I just want to repeat what Dennis Cuddy has said in his book, The Dawning of the New Age New World Order, He said, "this disciple, Robert Fludd was the chief proponent of Rosicrucian?s in England and Fludd along with Sir Francis Bacon and others were commissioned by King James 1st to produce an English translation of the Holy Bible. Basically he was saying the same thing that Michael Baigent and Richard Leigh said in Freemasonry: The Geometry of the Sacred, The wording is almost exact in both statements.
Robert Fludd was Grand Master of the Priory of Sion from 1595 to 1637. This is stated in Holy Blood, Holy Grail. Francis Yates states about Robert Fludd, "the first of Fludd's Oppenhiem volumes, The History of the Microcosm of 1617 is dedicated to James 1st, a most impressive dedication in which James is saluted as Ter Maximus, the epithet, sacred to Hermes Trismagistus and as the most potent and wise Prince of the World. The significance of this dedication stands out now that we now more fully understand the significance of the publication of Fludd's book at Oppeiheim. Fludd and his Palentinate publisher are assuming the interest of James in a work published in his son in laws dominions. They were drawing this most potent Prince into their philosophy assigning to him a Hermetic role. If this book circulated much in Germany or in Bohemia it would have confirmed their impressions or illusions that the thought movements in the Palentinate had the approval of King James. We can also now begin to see the situation more clearly from James point of view. His son in law advisors and friends were not only trying to involve James in a political line of action which he disapproved, The activist Polete which was leading towards the book Bohemia enterprise. They were also trying to involve him in a philosophy of which he disapproved. James was desperately afraid of anything magic. This was his most deep seated neurosis.
He had disapproved of John Dee and would not receive him. He relegated him to a kind of banishment and now in his son in laws domain there is published an immense work on the d type of hermetic philosophy that is dedicated to him and attempting by that dedication to draw him into that point of view or to give the impression that he is favorable to it.
No wonder that the second volume of the Macrocosm and the Microcosm was not dedicated to James and that Fludd seems to have encountered severe difficulties in England about the publication of his work.
Here we see how they were very stealth fully trying to draw James into their plan. Kind of how they try to draw us into to their plans without us knowing that our support is advancing their cause and who they really are. James was having none of it. He recognized them for who they were and he wasn't even going to support his daughter. Talk about whoever loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. His commitment was to the Lord first and even if he had to severe his relationship to his daughter at this point he was willing to do it. He understood the ramifications of what his involvement in all of this would have meant and I'm sure he must have grieved over the fact his daughter was drawn into this but he was accountable to God.
Tomorrow when we read from his works we are going to see his intense devotion to Jesus Christ and his extensive knowledge of scripture and how very heavily the responsibility of being King weighted on him and all of the great issues of that day were weighting upon him and how seriously he took them. The more I read about this man the more I am impressed with this works and that will come through tomorrow when we get into his works.
King James died in 1525. He had single handedly held back this Rosicrucian movement over to Europe. When he died his son, Charles 1st took the throne and as we will see tomorrow in King James he wrote several books to his sons preparing them for their role of the King of Great Britain. His son Henry died. When King James died he was succeeded by Charles 1st. Charles 1st seems to have been a Christian King but he had enormous difficulties trying to hold back the Rosicrucian?s. In 1649 Charles 1st was executed, he was beheaded.
This was the Puritan takeover by Oliver Cromwell who was allied with the Freemasons and Cromwell set up his Puritan protectorate for ten years and this was literally a reign of terror under the extreme Puritanism of Oliver Cromwell. The power was wrested from the Monarchy and the Commonwealth became a Republic under Cromwell.
I told Kelly I'd talk about the Calvinists for a little while. Francis Yates differentiates between the Activists, Calvinists, and Calvinists Theology. Although you can see where the Calvinists Theology would lead to the activism where a Cromwell or the Freemasons would be able to use Calvinism to take over the government of a nation. Francis Yates wrote, "Through the Palentinate was a Calvinist state, the thought movements throughout the palentinate have little to do with Calvinist theology. These movements are a remarkable example of the trend through which H. Trevor Roper has drawn attention namely that activist Calvinism attracted liberal thinkers of many types.
Atracted because activist Calvinism represented a stand against the extreme forces of reaction. A guarantee that within its sphere of influence the writ of the inquisition would not run. Anotherwards, Activists Calvinism intended to prevent any legal prosecution of witches, of occult, as occultists occurred during the inquisition and occurred under the reign of King James.
It's important to understand that when witches were tried under King James they had to be proven to be doing harm, to be doing criminal activities, to bring harm against people or to overthrow the government. I believe this is why King James held so fast to the divine right of King. Not that he considered himself to be divine. He knew that if he turned his authority over to the Parliament as happened under the reign of Charles1st, that the Parliament was infiltrated. Francis Bacon was a member of the Parliament. The Parliament was infiltrated by the Rosicrucian?s and could eventually over take the Monarchy and flood the British Isles with their occult societies and overthrow the monarchy as they did with Charles 1st.
Frederick the 5th was an Activist Calvinist. You can see the result of the Calvinist Theology over there in Europe where it progressed to the point that the Calvinist thought that it was their duty to overthrow the Hapsburg dynasty. What would have resulted had Frederick 5th and the Rosicrucian?s succeeded would have been simply a been a New Age New World Order then.
So the Rosicrucian?s were defeated in Europe, they had returned to England and they seized control of the government through Oliver Cromwell. There were three men in England who lead the Rosicrucian movement during this period up till the time the government was seized through the Puritans and the Puritan movement was used. These three men were Samuel Heartlieb, his friends, John Dury and John Amos Kemonous. The movement returned to England under Hartlieb, Dury and Komenious "for it was in Parlimentian England that which had returned to the old Elizabethan role of champion of Protestant Europe that Heartlieb saw the best chance of establishing the new reformation.
You see the Parliament had seized control of the government and now the Rosicrucian?s had the opportunity to continue their Rosicrucian dream under another name. There in England and there were many who are dissatisfied with the non parlimentarian and anti Puritan policies of James 1st and Charles 2nd and they looked with longing toward that Protestant Royal family at the Hague which represented a possible succession to the throne. Oliver Cromwell thought that the monarchy of the Elizabethan type was the best form of government. The objection was to Monarchs who tried to rule without Parliament and who's foreign policy was not directed towards the support of the cause in Europe.
Let me talk about Cromwell's protectorate for a little while because their are clear signs that Cromwell was an agent of the Rosicrucian?s. His foreign secretary was John Milten. John Milton during the entire ten years of the protorate was Cromwell's secretary corresponding with foreign governments in Latin. There are obvious connections of John Milton to the Rosicrucian brotherhood. Miltons work is certainly marked by the same Rosicrucian themes. Hermetic and natural imagery that are largely Pantheistic and consistent with the classic western esoteric conditions. Milton was a Pantheist. His works 'Paradise Lost' and 'Paradise Regained' state that God is everywhere and in all things and is all knowing and all loving. Milton was eventually jailed in 1660. In 1660 when Oliver Cromwell's protectorate was coming to an end the English Parliament ordered Miltons arrest and his political publications burned. After being in hiding for several months he was arrested and held for nearly six months. Milton states very plainly and directly in Paradise Lost, Book Nine that he has specific views for a mediumistic resource spiritual being who communicated to him while he slept.
Milton who was Cromwell's foreign secretary was allied with the Rosicrucian?s. So was John Webster who was the Chaplin of the Parliament during Cromwell?s protectorate and his affiliation was Calvinist but he was very involved with the Rosicrucian societies. He wrote extensively and his works were of the Hermetic type of natural philosophy.
John Webster who was the Chaplin of the Parliment under Cromwell wrote a book, The Displaying of the Supposed Witchcraft. In this book he proceeds to argue for the end of all witch trials that Rosicrucian?s and the secret societies and the occultists who are involved in their various forms of witchcraft could not be tried by the government and that England was now in an enlightened age and there was no need to believe in the superstitious, the devil and witchcraft and as Francis Yates termed it "all of these various neurosis that Francis Yates had about witchcraft." His book laid the groundwork for putting an end to putting the prosecution of witches.
Tomorrow I'm going to read from the various works of King James proving that this man in no way could have been an occultist and could not have countenanced the works of Bacon and Flood and these Rosicrucian?s and I also want to deal with charges of homosexuality that have been leveled against King James and there is plenty of proof that King James was not a homosexual and that in fact the person who is supported by his accusers, Francis Bacon, was a homosexual pederast. http://www.watch.pair.com/audio.html |
