It seems that there is a wave of belief that Communion is a form of regeneration and revitalization, in the literal sense people can actually have their bodies rejuvinated by daily partaking of the Supper elements. Thus, participants pray with the expectation that eventually they will be healed of their afflictions and rejuvinated. It is a coupling of spiritual, emotional and secular. It is catching on very quickly with charismatics.
