Dear Rev. Frangipane,

Thank you for your letter to add some facts to our webpages. We did not write the report but imported it from another website. We will be glad to post your letter with this report to clarify your position.

greetings,

i was informed of your site and the info you have posted. just for the
record, although i have spoken twice at the toronto vineyard, i have never
been part of the laughter movement nor have we imported it to our church.
about the other info you have quoted, the article about God entrusting us to
take our cities is from a local pastor, not me. i'm glad i noticed it,
though. i don't see everything that gets put on our webpage beforehand.

concerning the lighthouses of prayer movement. this is completely unrelated
to the laughter movement. it is well supported by mainstream evangelicals.
it is simply a call to pray for neighbors and it appeals to christians across
the board.

i do believe in seeing the church united, and i believe there are "spiritual
fathers" in cities that are a part of uniting, but i don't believe nor teach
that we should create a governmentis with what you referred to "heavy
shepherding" (not his term), where one person with a "Father gifting"
oversees the other pastors in an apostolic role, and delegates task to them,
while the pastors who place themselves under his authority become the
"overseers" of the citywide church.

i guess what i'm saying is that my stand is on Christlikeness in the church
and that revival, healing communities and authority springs from being
submissive to Christ and His character. i am sorry you have decided to
misrepresent what i believe, but i would be willing to help you update the
truth about this ministry if that is any benefit to you.

thank you for your time,

francis frangipane
