Prayer request
Dear Brothers and sisters in the Lord, greetings to you in
the name of our Lord and saviour Jesus Christ. First of all I
would like to introduce myself, my name is Prabhudas Dupte ,
I am the President of an Organization called
LOVE THY NEIGHBOUR SOCIAL WELFARE SOCIETY, Our
Organization is a Church based registered nonprofit Organization
working by faith in the area of social welfare of the poor, needy,
old, and neglected people as well as HIV/AIDS effected adults
and children, we are located in LATUR town which in the state
of Maharashtra, INDIA , we are 500 K.M. East of Mumbai ( BOMBAY)
.
By doing all this things some how we want to preach the name
of Jesus Christ to the un reached people of Maharashtra state,
because there are 40,000 villages in our state and most of them
have never heard the name of Jesus Christ even at one time, our
goal is to some how reach these people with the gospel. Our targeted
people group is Slums in the towns and the poor and needy villagers,
and we are getting good response from this community since 1999
, right now we are working in 6 slum areas in Latur
town and 12 villages around this town.
The reason I am sending this letter to you is because we
want to start a big Project “ OLD
AGE CARE HOME “ where we want to
take care of 50 old age people in the care home those
who are above 60 years of age. Because in India there are hundreds
of old people both Men and women are begging at the road side,
it is not because that is their business or they like to do that
but the reason is because their children are not willing to take
care of them and feed them , and since they are very old they
can not work and earn money to feed themselves, so this remains
the only way for them to beg house to house or at the road side,
they sleep on the footpath because they do not have any other
shelter, they can not effort to go to the Doctor even if they
become sick, so many of them die at the road side and their children
do not even accept their dead bodies, so the Municipal council
take away their dead bodies, these lives have become just like
a animal.
So our Organization has decided to construct a care
home for such people and we want to start this Project with 50
old age people 10 couples, 15 single Men and
15 single women, In this care home we want to provide them food,
shelter, clothing, and medical treatment in the time of their
sicknesses, if they get all these things they need not to go
for begging, or sleep on the footpath they will not die without
any medicine.
To construct this care home we need $ 50,000 and
to run this care home we need $ 80,000 for the first year, from
second year we will need $ 60,000 every year. So to start with
we need $1,30,000 .
Prayerfully I have decided to write to the Churches for the
financial help for this Project, and as a Church if you come
forward to help this Project we promise you that we
will win many many old age people for the Lord, this is our
greatest desire to see these people getting saved and we want
to give them the eternal hope in Jesus Christ before they die.
This is your opportunity to have a major role in the salvation
of this old age people, because this is the age where
people need some one to take care of them, and if we could do
that they will easily understand what the love of our Lord is
like.
We have people willing to work for this Project.
We have opportunity to work.
We have decided and dedicated ourselves for this work.
What we need is your valuable prayers and financial support
for this Project.
Dear brothers and sisters with this letter I would like to
request you to kindly pray for this Project, and please help
us financially , one person needs $1,200 US. per year including,
food, clothing, and medical treatment. Please try to sponsor
at least two persons through your Church, if you are able to
do more, that is great but please try at least for
two. And bless this people as the Lord has blessed you. I
would like to request the Churches to please come
forward and help the poor people of India.

Praise the Lord for you Prabhudas M.Dupte,
Your goals are noble indeed and thank you for sharing your
testimony. We love hearing these kinds of reports because they
represent the hearts of the true Body of Christ, loving the destitute
and desiring to help alleviate some of the problems. God bless
you and we pray earnestly that God is listening right now to
our prayers to provide a home and sustenance for the forgotten.
Father Your message indicates that You came for those who are
hurting. Today Father we come to you, Prabhudas, myself,
and all those who may join us in prayer, for You to
open doors to make this dream come true and provide for the needs
of these destitute people in India. It's like Prabhudas wrote
many would see
Your blessings manifesting and would believe that Your Word
is really true. Lord, in Your earthly ministry many people crowded
around You, looking to You for help and healing. Although
all of them struggle with doubt and fear, they found in You the
answer to their suffering. We ask for that same healing presence.
You teach that people have to have faith in You to bring
a healing about. In India that is not so easy to come by.
Father we praise you for Christians in India who are teaching
Your Word so that they may reach a higher level of faith.
Because of the way we treated Your Son when He walked
this earth, we do not deserve Your grace and You gave it
freely anyway and we love You for it. We pray for forgiveness
for all those unwilling to receive what You freely gave with
Your shed blood at the tender age of 33 when life was waiting
to be lived. Your love couldn't be sweeter and everything hereafter
will be to Your good and gracious will and pupose for us. We
pray this prayer in the name of Your only begotten Son, Christ
Jesus. Amen
PS We will add this email to our websites in the hope of
more prayers and maybe finding some generous givers. Our
ministry is self funded. We have no membership but use our personal
funds to pay for the cost of publishing the good news, else we
would help.
