Blessings to you, your family and your Congregation from Eretz
Israel, in the name of Yeshua.
My name is Brian Slater and my Sabra (native born) Israeli wife,
Racheli, our two kids Raz and Amichai and baby on the way (due
in Jan.2008, by the grace of God). We are all believers in Yeshua/Jesus,
living here in Israel. I wanted to start off, by just sharing
a short introduction as to who we are and what we do. I immigrated
to Israel back in 1996 from Los Angeles. Racheli and I married
after I was in Israel one year later and both of our kids where
born here. We are a traditional Messianic Jewish family that
loves Yeshua, loves to celebrate Shabbat as well as all the Biblical
Feasts and traditional prayers of Israel.
Recently, about 5 months ago, we joined hands/were accepted on
staff with Beth Sar Shalom, the Israeli name for Chosen People
Ministries. Our vision, that we focus on in our ministry is to
reach the homeless. This consists of drug addicts, alcoholics,
prostitutes as well as helping those with unwanted pregnancies.
I currently, do a weekly Bible study as well as counseling at
a men's rehab. center in Jaffa. I also volunteer at a soup kitchen,
that feeds the homeless, full meals (up to 150) we are able to
play Messianic music, share testimonies, give out literature,
as well as, do personal evangelism to share the hope and salvation
of Yeshua.
...A brother in the Lord, (named
David), partners with me in Tel Aviv. We have an outreach center
that reaches out to the homeless. Most of these women have sold
there lives into prostitution, to support their drug habits,
we do reach the men as well, however a majority are women. We
also give them food and drink, invite them to the center to pick
new clothes, take showers and rest if they need and build trust
with these victimized people enough to share with them that there
is hope beyond the streets and a big God that loves them. We
sometimes are able to bring some of these people off the streets
and into Messianic/Biblical Rehabilitation, which for women,
there is next to none of these such places. This is our hearts
desire and focus, to raise up a women's shelter with a biblical
base. All that said, my family and I are not supported by any
big organizations or specific person.
...We need to raise all our own
support! We know, the Lord has called us to do these works and
we know that He will provide all our needs. We come to you because,
first of all we were recommended to you by a dear friend that
knows that you love to pray and secondly, to ask about the possibility
of you and/or your home group, bible study, business or congregation
to consider supporting us in prayer and finance.
Our hearts desire is to be able to focus on this work, without
having to work 2-3 other jobs to provide for basic family needs
and to be able to fully focus 100% of our time on this humanitarian
effort and calling that God has on our lives. We would hope,
that you and your congregation love, pray and even support Israel
(as the Bible says to do so (Psalm 122:6) and our main goal is
for you to catch this vision that the Lord has so graciously
put into our hands, to be a Light in the darkness with the Good
News and Hope of Yeshua our Messiah to change lives. We would
be honored for YOU to pray and present this situation to your
different groups and leadership. It all starts with YOU. Individuals
make a majority that support us, however there is power and strength
in numbers. Where two or more are gathered, He dwells in the
midst of them.
We look forward to hearing from you and to be connected in
any way the Lord would open to you, our Yeshua loving brothers
and sisters throughout the world.

Our Prayer For Brian and Racheli and family!
Almighty and everlasting God, we give You thanks for all those
whom You have called to preach the Gospel of Your Son, especially
for those You have sent to the homeless, drug addicts, alcoholics
and prostitutes. Those are the one's Yeshua ministered to. He
stated that the sick needed Him. He didn't come for those who
had all their needs met. Obviously those who are shunned by society
do not know the Lord Jesus Christ or they would be well and thriving
under Your Holy Spirit's power. Father we ask Your blessing upon
Brian, Racheli and their children, who are dedicating their lives
in service to You as they labor to bring about Your will that
all should be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth. Meet
their needs and help their ministries and those they are associated
with to grow into powerful beacons, examples of Yeshua's presence
among us, as You promised in Your Word. Provide funding that
they need to get the job done, to feed and clothes the homeless,
and rescue those who need to leave their lifestyles and become
upright for You and be more beacons for Your salvation available
to all who come to You in repentence. Father we ask for a hedge
around this family to keep them from harm and sickness. Watch
over the coming baby and provide for a place of safe delivery.
Give Brian and Racheli the necessary grace by the Holy Spirit
in them to witness faithfully to Your truth in Yeshua. Fill them
with love and zeal, that many may turn to righteousness and obtain
Your promised crown of life; through Jesus Christ. Father surround
them with believers in Yeshua to keep them standing against the
viles of the devil to reap Your promised blessings and eternal
life in Heaven. We pray for humbled hearts to support their efforts
and pray for them often. Humbly, in repentance of our sins and
thanksgiving for all Your blessings Father, we pray in the name
of Yeshua, Jesus Christ, Amen |

The
Path to Israel's Salvation.
While attending the worship watch at Succat Hallel
in Jerusalem, I began getting a word from the Lord. I sensed
the Lord saying I've made a way for the salvation of my people
Israel. And I began to see a lighted path going through the darkness.
But as I saw this tunnel of light begin to illuminate, I realized
it was bumpy and uneven with many pot holes, and pretty much
impassable. And I felt the Lord showing me that His path is there
but in order for it to be made passable, the lumps, bumps and
holes would have to be leveled out by stones.
And I began to see stones being placed
in the bumps and gaps. Different size stones, and different colored
stones, and I realized that the stones the Lord was using and
going to use were living stones, His children in the body of
Messiah, from around the world. That
as we lay down our lives, and submit to Him. That He would place
us along that path of salvation for others. I saw that there
was no glory in it for the stones as they were laid down. The
stones appeared to be broken, in order to fit into the holes
they were to go into. The more the stones were assembled and
become inter connected they began to form a path that carries
a multitude.
The lost of Israel and the nations will
walk on them to reach the Lord who is standing at the end of
this pathway of life. I then
began to understand that the Lord was saying if my people who
are called by name would lay down their lives and humble themselves.
And just allow Me to love them to life, that they would then
in turn be His instruments of life. He would take them, and their
surrendered lives and use them to bring the lost home to
Himself.
As the body of Messiah comes to that
place where they lay down all of their hopes and plans, and surrender
even into the obscure place of service. Laying down all desires
to be some one, and pickup the desire that He be seen in our
lives. Knowing that to be great in Gods kingdom is to be a servant,
or even a slave. Seeking to promote others even ahead of ourselves,
so as to be this path of living stones. Which one day will be
a glorious temple of praise unto the King of Glory. As we join
with the angels singing Holy, Holy is the Lord God Almighty.
These two verses were also spoken
into my spirit:
Jeremiah 31:20-21, "Is Ephraim my dear son? is he
a pleasant child? for since I spake against him, I do earnestly
remember him still: therefore my bowels are troubled for him;
I will surely have mercy upon him, saith the LORD. Set thee up
waymarks, make thee high heaps: set thine heart toward the highway,
even the way which thou wentest: turn again, O virgin of Israel,
turn again to these thy cities."

Ravished
with Love for His Bride.
During the worship
watch in Jerusalem, I began to see a picture of the throne room
in heaven. Without actually seeing a form of being, I understood
that God the Father was there seated on the throne, and seated beside
Him was Yeshua. As I looked at this I saw Yeshua arise from His
throne and tip toe over to one side of the throne room. Then
He bent over and as if He was parting a curtain just slightly,
He parted the heavens and looked down on His people. And at once
I to was looking down through His eyes and could see the worshipers
on earth. They were all dressed in black and very tall, but in
the spirit I began to have a recount of the story in Genesis
chapter 24, where Abraham sends his servant to find a bride for
his son Isaac.
And I realized the Lord was associating
the servant in this story with His Holy Spirit today, out looking
for a bride for His Son. And I felt the Lord was saying I have
sent My Spirit to go find Me a Bride. Then
again as I considered this word, I began seeing a cloud begin
to descend on His people. And as I watched this scene, the
story of Ester came into my spirit. And again the image of the
Holy Spirit as the King's appointed officers was sent out to
find a bride for the King. To bring her and prepare her to be
the "Bride", the Bride of the King of Kings, the Bride
of Messiah.
With this understanding I saw the people
in worship begin to enter into His cloud of Glory, ( the sent
Spirit of God ). And as they entered into this Glory they were
forever changed. Somewhere in a distance I could see those
who had entered in with black and dirty clothes exiting, coming
out (now much shorter in height ) dressed in a Glorious Bridal
gown. There was a radiance and glory all around them. The radiance
around them was much taller than their old dirty beings. For
they were clothed in a Bridal Gown of His righteousness, they
themselves had grown much smaller, but His glory was all around
in such awesome height. It was The Lord who was scene and no
longer the people.
His radiance was all around, and I felt
that all they needed to do now was walk in His Glory and this
shadow of His Glory would bring healing and deliverance to all
those they passed by. And immediately I was again in the throne
room, and saw Yeshua with a heart bursting with love, to come
and gather His Bride unto Himself. And I heard Him say to His
Bride, you have ravished my heart with love. And I am coming
soon to gather you all to myself, that you also may be where
I am with my Father. Shine
bright, shine bright my radiant Bride for I long to gather you
into my everlasting arms of love. Soon O so very soon I shall
by my spirit visit you.
And by My Spirit you shall be made radiant,
in the Glory of My spirit you shall forever be changed. You shall
put on My garments of Righteousness, and the world will know
you are Mine. They will see My glory upon you and many, yes a
multitude shall come rushing into my everlasting arms of Salvation
and Love. For the Glory of The Lord shall cover the earth as
the waters cover the seas. My angels shall come down and together
with you, will reap a harvest so that My Bride can be made full
and then come unto to Me. Spotless and pure forever you will
be! There never again shall you be separated from Me. There I
will wipe away every tear, there you will see me face to face,
and you will be like me. My Bride we shall reign and rule over
the heavens together, yes you and Me and Me and you forever.
